What can we say that hasn't already been said!? There could not have been a more perfect place, this side of Heaven, for us to celebrate ten years of marriage and thirteen years of friendship!

We have a family tradition of renting a cabin for the week of Thanksgiving in the Georgia/North Carolina/Tennessee area. We rent a different cabin each year as life is too short to do the same thing twice, but after our stay at Mystic Ridge our philosophy has changed. We found heaven and there is no reason to look elsewhere! The cabin is so incredibly beautiful and has every amenity that you could think of. My husband and I like to do a lot of cooking and baking while on our annual Thanksgiving trip as there is so little time on a daily basis to cook fancy meals and baked goods. So every year we pack up about half of our kitchen and take it with us. This year it was a waste of our time as Mystic Ridge has more kitchen gadgets, pots, pans, baking necessities and utensils then we have ever had. We were in heaven and we left all of our items unpacked in their totes and stuck them in the closet (which, btw, this cabin has tons of closet space!). We were overwhelmed by all of the thought that has gone into making this cabin a true "home". The decor is so incredibly beautiful and professional (they must have used a decorator or they are very talented!). Every item that you could possibly need is available (games, DVDs, books, outdoor games such as horseshoes and football, a first aid kit, kitchen gadgets, dishes and serving trays galore and even wonderfully cozy throw blankets on the couches!). The beds are so comfortable and there are enough pillows and blankets to sleep an army! The pool table is a professional grade table and the hot tub even has a multi-color light!! The fire pit and deck have an amazing view and the wrap around porch has so many comfortable chairs that you can sit in a different chair every time you are out there enjoying the peace and quite and fresh mountain air. This cabin is far and above the most beautiful cabin that we have ever had the pleasure of calling "home" for a week. And to top it all off it is located in a beautiful area of Georgia with so many things to do...horseback riding, hiking, water falls, museums, a miniature railroad exhibit that is a must see, a vineyard and plenty of small towns with excellent restaurants and shopping. "There is no place like home" except possibly Mystic Ridge!
My wife and I had a great time at Mystic Ridge. When we weren't out exploring High Shoals Falls and Brasstown Bald, we were at Mystic Ridge playing pool or relaxing in the hot tub. The house is oriented westward so you get a nice view of the sunset through the huge windows, porch, or hot tub. There's a fun and very thorough collection of animal art and sculpture. My favorite is the stuffed raccoon downstairs that watches you while you watch TV.
This cabin was perfect. The decor was fantastic and it was so warm and inviting. I could imagine myself living there forever! The views were so peaceful and beautiful. The fire pit was a very nice touch and we spent a few evenings in front of it with a relaxing cocktail. We played pool downstairs almost every evening which we enjoyed. It was our anniversary trip so we wanted a very special place and this was it. We would definitely stay there again.
The BEST, so well done in everything from kitchenware to the bed sheets. Truly well appointed. Not a camp out! Sit anywhere you like because there is seating galore! The built in fire pit was a highlight, well at least it competes with the hot tub! Super nice!
I was so pleased with my stay at mystic ridge...the house was wonderfully stocked and beautifully maintained. Sitting outside on the porch with the gorgeous mountain views was simply serene. I loved the quiet surroundings and the nice people in the area. The hot tub wasn't anything to complain about either. If you want to get away with friends or take a romantic vacation, this is the place to go
When a friend of mine told me we were going to a cabin for the weekend, I thought a rustic little cabin in the woods. Well when I arrived, what a surprise! This cabin is gorgeous, well maintained and clean. The views are so beautiful, made me want to stay an extra day and just sit on the huge yet cozy deck and just take it all in. There were so many things to do in this home, like sit in the hot tub, curl up by the fire pit, or relax inside with a book or game, that we did not venture out much. Loved this place and can not wait to go back sometime soon. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.
Located in a quiet gated community of upscale Log homes, this favored retreat is well off the beaten trail but still within 20 minutes of either Blairsville or YoungHarris, where you'll find plenty of shopping, restaurants, entertainment & marinas, Brasstown Resort & Golf Course, and Young Harris College. When you’re ready to head out for some real adventure, there’s plenty to do. Nearby areas offer a variety of attractions within easy driving distance, such as hiking trails, scenic waterfalls, working gold mines where you can pan for gold or gems, go white water rafting, tubing on the river, horseback riding or attend a wine tasting & take the tour at either of the local vineyards. Take the kids to the Cabbage Patch Hospital and see how a Cabbage Patch Baby is born! There’s so much to do, you’ll run out of vacation before you run out of things to do!
