This luxurious Penthouse Appt overlooks the private Lake and has stunning views from bedrooms, lounge and dressing room. You'll love sitting on the balcony or by the south facing lake enjoying a glass of wine or relax in the swimming pool, steam room and gym.

It is less than 10 miles away from HEBDEN BRIDGE, the bohemian town full of unique shops, cafes and cultural attractions.

The fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops has a breakfast bar, integral appliances and everything you need to make your stay special.

Bedroom 1 has a king sized bed (can become 2 singles) an en-suit shower room and large dressing room/lounge area to sit and admire the Lake and surrounding countryside.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed with a comfortable dressing area and vellux window overlooking the lake.

Bedroom 3 is another generous double, with unique glass wall that allows private views of the fabulous lake.

Throughout the apartment there are exposed brick walls, wooden beams and large sash windows, making this Penthouse a light and beautiful apartment.

The building (an awarding winning mill conversion) is set in private grounds and gardens with benches scattered around and a stream running along side it.

There is a generous car park and the Penthouse can be accessed either by the lift or stairs.

About Tina Turner

Kevin and I love living in Barkisland Mill. The idyllic setting means we can do lots of walking in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, while still being close to a wide range of amenities such as cinemas, theatres and numerous cities like York, Manchester and Leeds.

We love the nearby bohemian towns of Hebden Bridge and Saltaire and well as the abundance of excellent local pubs and restaurants.

Our other most-loved destination is Italy! Kevin says that if he wasn't a Yorkshire man, he'd love to be Italian... I'd like that too!

We also love hosting, sharing tips on how to get the most out of your stay and if you want us to be we will be on hand for any advice you need.

Why Tina Turner chose West Yorkshire

We fell in love with Barkisland Mill the first time we saw it (we've owned another Penthouse Appt in this building since 2008).... especially being able to overlook the south facing lake and hills. On a sunny day it really does feel like we're on holiday in Italy.

Both the building and our apartment are so full of character with lots of exposed original stones walls and large sash windows, making it a light and sunny appt.

The Pool the gym and Steam Room are the icing on what is a beautiful cake.

The friendly neighbours make it a delight to live here.... it feels like we're on holiday all the time! So that's why we'd love to share this wonderful place with you!

What makes this apartment unique

The spectacular views from our balcony and the peace and tranquility of this place made us fall in love with it!

Although the pool, gym, jet stream and steam room are communal, it always feels like we have our own private Spa!

The brand new and very modern, well equipped kitchen with it's granite worktops, overlooking the spectacular views, makes eating and cooking a great delight.

The furniture has stylish Eames tables and chair, Egg chair and brand new woollen settees to make your stay comfortable and luxurious.

The dressing room also has a reading/library area where you can and enjoy the view of the lake and countryside.

The 3rd bedroom has a glass wall and sliding door overlooking the lake, as well as wooden beams and an exposed stone wall. The unique 'ladder' up to the room from the lounge area makes it suitable for adults only.

A walk around the lake, or sit on one of the benches in the landscaped grounds and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful, award winning converted mill.

As well as beautiful countryside on your doorstep, the Yorkshire Dales and Moors are a short drive away. HEBDEN BRIDGE the beautiful bohemian town full of local shops and cafes.

RIPPONDEN with its many bars and restaurants is less than 2 miles away!

Also there's Howarth (Bronty country) and Holmfirth (Last of the Summer Wine).

The historical city of YORK is less then an hour away, as well as Manchester, Huddersfield and Leeds.

Fishing in our own Lake or GOLF is just a couple of minutes away.

CYCLING is great... we're on the route of Tour De France.

Excellent pubs, take aways and restaurants are within minutes.

Watersports such as windsurfing, canoeing etc are available just 45 minutes away.

It is a beautiful room full of character, however, it is not suitable for children and adults with difficulty accessing stairs and extra care should be made when ascending and descending the room.
