Close to good restaurants and excellent food shopping. It is 5 minutes from Lucolena where there is an alimentari and an excellent pizzeria open at weekends. The market towns of Greve, Radda and Figline are each 25 minutes away. Figline has a large supermarket and other useful shops. Florence, Siena and Arezzo are all within an hour's drive. Internet access is also available at no extra cost.

A path leads down to the private pool which is set in the gardens below the house and surrounded by olive trees. The pool is circular and there are sun beds offering a tranquil oasis. For shade, there are two large umbrellas and a pergola.
My parents bought this house as a ruin in 1970. Having lovingly renovated it, they spent many happy years there, escaping from the Scottish weather. Our whole family now uses it as a wonderful retreat from busy lives in London.

My parents travelled throughout France and Italy in the 1970s looking for the perfect property. Of the many hundreds they looked at, Busecchio was the one that captured their hearts. I have been coming since my own children were tiny. I helped them learn to swim in the pool and am now helping my grand children take their first strokes.
Busecchio is secluded yet friendly, set peacefully on a hillside with stunning views down the valley and across to the most picturesque of villages. The surrounding woods are a wonderful place to walk and explore.
