This refurbished, bright & airy one bedroomed apartment is very comfortable with extra touches. It is situated on the first floor, has a genrous sized south facing balcony with a retractable awning for sun or shad , and recliner chairs with cushions. This is a relaxing, tranquil apartment located in a quiet corner of the peaceful and secure Atalaya Complex. It is only 3 minutes walk to the sea front promenade (Avenida de las Playas) where there are shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. The light and spacious apartment offers open plan living/dining area with a well equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, mini oven, microwave / grill, hob, kettle & toaster. The lounge has a modern L-shaped sofa which transforms into a comfortable double bed, 32" flat screen TV, DVD player and plenty of DVD's, CDs & books are available. There is free wifi in the apartment for guests to use, and UK TV (via internet). The separate bedroom has comfortable twin beds and lots of storage space. The modern bathroom is fully tiled with shower, vanity unit and washing machine. There are fans in the lounge and bedroom for warmer months. There is a well stocked supermarket adjacent to the complex and plenty of on street parking.
The apartment is managed personally by Gill Pegge, assisted by her husband and daughter. Gill worked as a manager in several 4 and 5* hotels in the UK before moving to the beautiful island of Lanzarote in 2012. Being on the island allows Gill to meet and greet guests, make sure they are familiar with the apartment’s facilities, as well as passing on advice and recommendations to enhance their holidays. Being on the island also allows Gill to very quickly sort out any problems which guests may have. Gill has a passion for Lanzarote and has never had a more enjoyable 'job' than making sure that guests have a relaxing and memorable holiday.

Lanzarote has year round sunshine and blue skies. Puerto del Carmen has the best choice of restaurants and bars we have ever come across, and the ambiance and variety of the resort’s facilities appeals to guests of all ages.
The Atalaya Complex is secure, quiet and friendly and isn’t used by tour companies, so you don’t have the noise and activity of some of the larger complexes. The apartments on this complex are a good size and are light and airy.
Guests always comment on the fantastically convenient location of the complex, and are amazed that such a peaceful and tranquil apartment can be found just 3 minutes walk from the lively main promenade. Also, being only a 10 minute journey from the airport makes transfers very easy. Having a well stocked supermarket next to the complex is also very handy.
Lovely apartment. Well equipped. Views from the balcony superb and we liked the privacy it offered and the security of the complex. The efficient and friendly organisation and information that Gill and Lynn provided, made for a smooth and effortless stay. Our second visit to the complex and we shall be returning.
First visit to Lanzarote but won't be the last. We had a fantastic time. The location of the apartment was perfect in easy reach of the beach, bars & restaurants. The apartment itself was very homely, well equipped for all our needs. The balcony was a great place to relax with lovely sea views. Did 3 excursions with first minute & enjoyed them all. The dreams breakfast at cafe ola was amazing. The cliff walk to Puerto Calero was stunning with a good choice of eating places when we got there, can recommend the Irish pub food was excellent. The old town is full of charm with plenty of boat trips.
A super apartment in a great location. Easy walking distance to everything you could want. Apartment is well equipped with all you could think of and has a super sea view. Will definitely be going back.
Just arrived back from a lovely 10 day stay here. This place is in a perfect location close to all the restaurants, shops and the beach.
Airport transfers were all on time and made life easier than trying to jump in a taxi, was picked up by Lynn then dropped off by Gill on the way back.
Apartment was very clean and tidy with a cracking view from the balcony. As I was on the sofa bed I left the fan on each night plus left the patio door open for a nice breeze to make it easier to sleep as the temperature was so hot, also had bedroom and bathroom windows open for a nice breeze throughout the apartment.
We ate out every night and every meal was lovely so not a bad restaurant in sight. Pool was always quiet and never had a problem getting a sunbed. My kids loved it there and we are considering an October return for another cheeky week.
On arrival at the apartment we were met by Gill for the handover of keys.
Gill had already phoned us making sure we were ok as our transfer taxi was late. Gill was very friendly and chatted away whilst showing us the apartment, making sure we knew where everything was.
The property was immaculate and a change of bedding and towels was done after our first weeks stay. The apartment was also cleaned after a week. The only thing more that we could have asked for was air-conditioning being as warm as it was. The location of the apartment is first class with beautiful sea views and a lovely breeze on the balcony. The swimming pool is well maintained and use of sun beds not a problem. A short stroll of 5 minutes takes you from the apartment to the main strip for beach or shopping.
Our favourite was jumping on the local transport to Arecife, Playa Honda etc buses every 10 minutes and air conditioned into the bargain.
Our favourite restaurants included Mardeleva situated in the Old Town overlooking the harbour, La Avienda opposite Los Picollos Beach and Mozzarella which is down stairs from apartment, walk past
Spar and restaurant there. All excellent food and good value for money.
Would highly recommend this apartment to family and friends.
We had an amazing time staying at this apartment, the location and facilities were perfect and suited all of our needs. The apartment was lovely - even nicer than the photos. The owners had thought about everything that we might have needed throughout our stay which helped us out a lot for example the sewing kit and the entertainment such as playing cards. Also, Gill picked us up from the airport and took us to the property and her daughter drove us back to the airport on our journey home. This was a massive help to us and saved us a lot of hassle!
The location of the property was quiet yet convenient - everything was within walking distance. There were many different restaurants and bars to chose from which meant there was something for everybody.
We would definitely recommend this apartment and we would love to come back in the future! Thank you!!

Changeover Day: Flexible - we aim to accommodate individual requirements for dates and arrival and departure times. We are happy to quote for any number of days.
Rates quoted are for 2 guests. An additional £5 per person per night applies for third and fourth guests.
Rates include cleaning before and after the stay. For stays of 10 nights or more we include a mini-clean and change of bed linen and towels midway through the stay.
Rates include water, electricity, use of the safety deposit box, use of the washing machine, beach towels, wifi.
We will advise the deposit due to confirm your booking when we reply to your enquiry. The deposit is paid by bank transfer.
We ask for a £50 or 70 euro refundable security deposit to be paid on arrival in cash.
