Bedding arrangements are: king, queen and two twins and crib. The Timbercreek complex boasts one of the best locations on Bald Head Island- five minute bike/golf cart ride to the beach - grocery - restaurants. There is also a private Timbercreek pool and Marsh boardwalk!
Our rates include use of TWO golf carts, assorted bikes, beach chairs and towels. All linens, arrival and departure cleaning, and fully equipped kitchen. For quiet nights enjoy a great selection of DVDs, CDs and board games.

The Shoals Club has beach chair service, elegant ocean-view dining, heated pool, toddler pool, poolside dining service and a fitness center.
The Bald Head Club provides traditional country club amenities in grand southern style, with excellent dining, fitness facility, pool, golf, tennis, and croquet.
Both Clubs offer wonderful children's activities.

Bald Head Island is beautiful and quiet, yet has every amenity you will need .. a modern grocery, a variety of dining options, golf, tennis, croquet, fitness centers, heated pool, ice cream/pizza shop, several clothes/gifts stores, etc. Fishing, kayaking, and sightseeing charters and many children's activities are available.
To our guests - Beacon Cottage, TC 2B and TC 18B are each individually owned and managed. As long time BHI owners and friends we work together to maintain calendars, ensure that our housekeeping is the best on the Island, and that our golf carts are in perfect shape for your arrival! This gives you three sets of dedicated and experienced owners - working together to make sure you have a perfect vacation experience at any of our wonderful accomodations!

The Pierces from New Hampshire were here with 7 year old grandson. Activities centered around the swimming pool, boardwalk which provides abundance of crabs & other interesting creatures - favorites of little boys - and the beach past the gazebo where the creek leaves the river. A perfect place for a little boy to play. Beautiful sunsets. Birds of all descriptions. Look for the painted bunting in bushes around the property. We got to see a loggerhead lurking in the waters at the head of the creek, possibly waiting to come ashore and lay eggs.

We loved staying at Timbercreek 2B. It was nicely furnished and the view was lovely overlooking the sunrise and marsh. Great location on island and we enjoyed being inland this time at BHI. The house is nicely stocked with 2 golf carts, bikes and water toys. The kitchen has high-end appliances so we found cooking really easy. We couldn't get Directv to work but the owners called us back and walked us through it. They also put together a lovely book highlighting the island.
We love BHI and will come back again!
5 stars! This home delivers everything you want in a vacation at Bald Head. We have stayed at many places at BHI and this home is our favorite. Great location, great marsh views, very clean, comfortable, quiet, modern and everything works. We will return.
We just returned from the most relaxing week in this condo ! The incredible marsh views from every room just took our breath away ! We watched the most beautiful and breathtaking sunrises each morning. And on the one day it rained, we just relaxed on the screened porch. The unit is nicely furnished, and the beds are so comfortable ! The kitchen was so well-equipped that I was able to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal with no problems. We have been renting on the island for twelve years, and we have always rented different places to have different experiences. However, we think we've finally found the place we will rent again !

Family vacation with 20 something children and their 50ish parents.
This woodsy condo is a wonderful rental with all conveniences. Everything in the condo is accurately described. It is actually better than the pictures indicate.
Comfortable furniture, nice bedding and upscale bathrooms add to the appeal of tis property. The décor is high end "hunting lodge", complete with wall mounts, and lots of cowboy/Indian type prints. Nice, albeit smallish kitchen with everything we needed.
The whole property is very well maintained and clean.
Location is in the woods by the marsh, just five minutes to the Harbor. At the harbor there are several restaurants, coffee and ice cream. A little farther in the opposite direction is the Maritime Market where grocery purchases can be made. The market is a full size grocery, more expensive than on the mainland, but not outrageous.
The rental process was simple. Instructions and information concerning check in etc. was explained in either the contract or info booklet in the condo.
This property is very well thought out with a lot of detail and extras. If you are not set on being on the beach, this property could be just what you're looking for. (There is easy beach access just a few minutes away by golf cart.)
Everything is as advertised -- a wonderfully kept, clean, comfortable condo with terrific views and all the right amenities. You can't go wrong here, and the process of working with the owner was perfect.
