Wonderful home

  • 5 of 5

This is NO shoebox. This is a beautiful home. We took mom and the grandchildren and great grandma and had enough room for all. The master on the first floor with attached bathroom is big and modern. It overlooks a patio and garden. The upstairs has two nice sized rooms with another nice bath and I love that they had a separate air conditioner for the upstairs. The owners really care about their property. We had a problem with a remote and everything was done to rectify the problem. We were one block away from the main street and everything was walkable. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house, great location

  • 5 of 5

The Shoebox Cottage was quaint but updated and comfortable and welcoming. The house is located within walking distance to downtown Saugatuck and close to restaurants, shopping and water. We will definitely consider staying there again if headed to Saugatuck.

Beautiful Historic Home in an Excellent Location

  • 5 of 5

This house is absolutely gorgeous! This inside is beautifully decorated and fits the charm of Saugatuck. The garden is a perfect area to sit and relax or play games! The location of this house is perfect - within walking distance to everything! There were 5 of us total including a little one under 2, and this house had more than enough space for all of us. We would definitely stay here again!!

GIRL'S WEEKEND OUT

  • 5 of 5

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN TWO YEARS THAT MY 5 FRIENDS & I HAVE STAYED AT THE SHOEBOX COTTAGE. THE LOCATION IS VERY CLOSE TO ALL THE RESTAURANTS, CUTE SHOPS AND THE NIGHTLIFE. THE HOUSE HAD THREE BEDROOMS AND TWO BATHROOMS. THE KITCHEN WAS NICELY SUPPLIED, AS WE MADE A COUPLE OF BREAKFASTS AND DINNERS. THE RESTAURANTS IN TOWN WERE GREAT. WE ESPECIALLY LIKED IDA'S RED FOR BREAKFAST AND THE PUMPERNICKEL FOR BREAKFAST AS WELL. LUCY'S CAFE HAD A GREAT MENU FOR LUNCH/DINNER.

LIZ, THE OWNER OF THE SHOEBOX COTTAGE WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. SHE ANSWERED MY EMAILS WHEN I SENT THEM VERY PROMPTLY.

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!
