Suits Us Great
Older but does the trick for us.Only one problem and was same when was in last year. The upstairs bathroom toilet water level comes close to top and concern that it will over flow when flushed.Planning on coming next year,so hope fixed by then.Other wise works for us,thank goodness good toilet downstairs.Cheers
Great location and quality property lots of room for a family of 4.
Great Location, would definitely stay again!
This location is perfect. It has everything you need in the suite and the village is right across the street! The next time I go to Whistler I would definitely book this place again.
Everything about our stay met our expectations...clean, spacious...had all the amenities that we needed.
The location was also fantastic...not directly in the Village, but footsteps away which we enjoyed more.
Would stay there in a heart beat again!!
Spring Break Skiing
This is our second time staying here at this particular unit. We like the location and convenience of being able to walk to Whistler Village, Market Place and free shuttle to gondola. Unit was clean and quiet. We also liked the hot tub and the pool. Only issue we had was wifi/internet was not very reliable. We are from US so we rely heavily on Wifi but it was frustrating at times.
Solid value for the price
We enjoyed our visit for just a couple nights in Whistler during a road trip. The summary works something like this: it's a nice place, with all the stuff you need to be comfortable. It's fairly compact and efficient, but it's cozy. It's right across the street from the village grocery, which is really convenient. From there, you can walk through the village to almost anything. So you honestly won't need your car once you get there. (But be warned - the parking is underground, and it's about 6' 8" (or roughly 2 meters) of clearance, so if you have a cargo pod (which we did) on an SUV, you won't fit without removing it.
Here's the 'other' stuff you may wonder about:
There are some signs of wear, but nothing out of line.
The place gets used, but it's not abused.
The cookware and such is kind of cobbled together, but it's adequate. In reality, you're probably not shooting for gourmet anyway, so it's probably a non-factor.
There's no ice maker, but there are ice trays - you can survive.
Both bedrooms are upstairs, as is the condo itself. No big deal.
The parking access is actually very convenient, but it's extremely tight parking.
There's a free shuttle to the base of the mountain - pay attention to which route you're on so you can select the correct shuttle on the way back.
You could walk all the way to the mountain instead of shuttle - in about 10 minutes or so - although it's a pretty long hike in ski boots (thought it's not that weird, lots of people are walking around in ski boots with gear heading to and fro).
There's a place to store skis inside - so that's nice.
We never once used cash for a transaction - everything was digital - so that was convenient.
Didn't try the pool, but it was pretty close and convenient if you want to use it.
There was laundry detergent when we arrived, but that may have just been luck of the draw (but the store is across the street, so not the end of the world).
The kids play area is just beyond the market - very convenient if you've got young ones - but careful, there's a candy store.
Plenty of restaurants to try, but don't be surprised if there's a line.
Bottom line: if you want a super high-end experience, there are probably other places to look. If you want a nice experience, that's a little quieter than being in the middle of everything - still convenient though - and at a reasonable price? Yeah, this is your deal. Once you get a lay of the land, it's pretty easy to get around.
