It is on a quiet, private street but just a few minutes' walk from a large supermarket, local shops and post office, bars and restaurants.

'We have had a great time and enjoyed your place. We will have no problem recommending it to anyone we know coming to London. We didn't use the phone but think it is a great idea.' - Paul, Lisa and Nicola Wines, Australia (August 2006)
'Thanks for everything, we had a lovely stay. The house was very well kitted out and really warm and cosy.' - Caroline and Alexandre (March 2007)
'Helllo! Thank you for letting us to be in your beautiful, sweet and nice apartment! - three happy French girls' (June 2007)
My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights, owner was very accommodating as we had a very early check in, the description is on point, small studio, but so much better than a hotel room. Coming from a city that has no subways or trains, we felt very intimidated by the metro and used UBER at first, but then we got familiar with the layout and even enjoyed the city lines and district lines. I would definitely recommend this rental.
We had a lovely week in Linda's apartment. It was a quiet oasis away from the busy center but close enough to be able to walk many places. The space is just right for a family with one or two children. It was very nice to be greeted with some basic supplies. St Katharine 's docks is a great place to find restaurants and the waitrose is close by.
Had a very nice stay at this apartment. It has all the conveniences we could ask for in a vacation rental. The location in central London is amazing...the 17 min walk to and from the tube station ensured we stayed fit ! Deducted the one star due to a slightly noisy neighbour who kept me awake while I was struggling to cope with jet lag...my wife and son slept through it! Linda was very helpful and prompt in answering our queries.
The listing description was accurate except for the information about the welcome basket of products. There were produts like milk, bread, tea, coffee but nothing concrete to eat so if you start your visit late at night, you should have your own goods. The property is clean and well-maintained. The owner answers all questions immediately and is very helpful. I deeply recommend this property! It is near the old centre of London, in a beautiful area of docklands with many restaurants. It was a wonderful journey also because of the nice, silent house where we stayed.
We were found our place for stay in London very nice, clean and in secure area. Everything what was described on property list was in reality. We were very satisfied.
London is friendly city for tourists. Lots of free of charge impressive museums and good to walk in down town. We look forward to visit London soon.
The studio was small as expected for a studio but had just about everything you would need for your stay. And if you do forget anything, there's a wonderful grocery store within a block or two from the studio. The walk to the studio from the tube can be a little confusing at first, but once you find it, it becomes a lot easier. The walk to the tube is about 15 mins. but if you walk through Katherine's Dock, the time flys by. Lots of restaurants there and the Tower of London is right past Katherine's Dock. One suggestion to the owner though, you need to get a new futon pad. The one there is very thin and uncomfortable to sit on. But all in all we didn't mind staying there and really loved London and all it's History! The tube is so clean and organized, And the people are so friendly in London too!!
Wapping is on the edge of London's financial heart, the City, but even closer to the capital's most famous landmarks. The Tower of London and Tower Bridge are a short walk away and the nearby banks of the River Thames are dotted with some of Britain's oldest public houses. Charles Dickens set many of his novels in and around Wapping. River taxis stop here, taking visitors by boat east to Canary Wharf or west to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. The nearest Tube stations are Tower Hill and Shadwell (DLR). Liverpool Street, with a fast service to Stansted Airport, is a short bus ride away. Both City Airport and the Excel exhibition centre are easily reached by DLR from Shadwell. Walking is easy too, and most of London's attractions, such as St Paul's Cathedral, the Tate Modern and the London Eye are a comfortable stroll away.
