Great stay at Cusius
We were lucky to stay at Lake Orta for 9 nights in Cusius. The apartment has absolutely everything you could need for a perfect stay. The kitchen is very well equipped as is the whole apartment. It is in the centre of town and close to the lake, convenient to everything. Andreas and his mother were great hosts, very helpful and the apartment was spotless.

Lake Orta is rich in artistic and cultural treasures, ideal setting for hikes and walks at any time of the year, but also for relaxing on the beach during the hottest months. The town of Orta San Giulio, included among the most beautiful villages in Italy, still retains its old charm with its characteristic historic center full of pubs, restaurants, wine bars and shops. In front of Orta lies the enchanting San Giulio Island, an oasis of peace and serenity enriched by the ancient Basilica dedicated to the Saint. On the hill which overlooks the town you can visit the Sacro Monte, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Lake Orta is located in a strategic area, easily allowing you to reach other major points of interest like the Alpine peaks, the mountain area of Valsesia, Lake Maggiore, the big cities such as Turin, Milan, Genoa, or maybe Montferrat's vineyards.
