Couldn't be better

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I heard about Richard's cottage from a friend and I can tell you, we couldn't have been more impressed with the place. The attention to detail is amazing. We were very comfortable and relaxed during our whole vacation. We went down to Ghezzi's Market while we were there and had a chance to talk with Richard who we found out is the owner and builder of both this cottage and Ghezzi's Market, and not to mention numerous other ventures in Muskegon.

If you are looking for a nice place near town and near the beach, look no further, I know we will be back.

Thank you Richard, we had an excellent vacation.

The Best Rental

  • 5 of 5

This place was so clean, updated, and convenient to share with 2 families! We were very impressed! We've rented houses up and down the Lake MI coastline for over a decade and this was one of the best experiences we've had! The cottage was stocked with plenty of towels and extra pillows and bedding. The washer and dryer were such a bonus for our family as well. We cooked over half our meals in the beautiful kitchen as well. We also discovered the lovely bike path that winds around the water and were thankful that the cottage had a few bikes on hand to enjoy. The layout of the space is a little unconventional, but we quickly adapted and loved it! We are looking forward to a repeat visit in the future!

Modern, Beautiful, Clean and Comfortable in a Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

This former filling station has been converted to a two-unit rental that is much more impressive than the pictures show. While in town for a family reunion, my whole family, including my 91-year-old mother and 17-year-old nephew enjoyed this immaculate rental. Beautifully decorated with high end materials and furniture, including flat screen TV's, this is the best bargain near the beach! Richard, the easy going owner, is wonderful to deal with and easy to find at Ghezzi's, his nearby market. The upstairs unit has a large fully stocked kitchen, washer, dryer, and full bath. The lower unit has a full bath and a smaller half bath with efficiency galley kitchen. There is abundant sleeping room and all linens, including fluffy towels are provided. Games, bicycles, and other fun diversions are also provided. The beach is a 5-minute drive. We have rented several cottages near the lake over the years and this is by far the nicest we've seen. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Home with Great Location!!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and myself vacationed here in August of 2012. I must say we were very satisfied with everything about the home! The home has a very unique layout that my family and I enjoyed very much! The home had everything we needed, and the owners were extremely nice and helpful! It is located a short 2 or 3 minutes from a spectacular beach and being one block away from the owners General Store was of great convenience! We would recommend this home to anyone looking to travel to the area. We look forward to going back soon!!! Thanks again to the owners for sharing their beautiful home with us for our vacation!!

Beautifully Decorated and Well Maintained

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Richard and Sue for such a wonderful experience! My family and I have been raving about our experience. The upper unit of your house is beautifully finished and very well maintained. We had ample space and really hated to leave. We will definately be recommending your house to others and hope to see you again in the future.

Beautiful home, and great location! Close to the marina, and three miles from Muskegon public beach! The owner was super easy to work with, and very helpful. We rented the entire cottage, and were very pleased with our experience! Recommend visiting the owner's market (right down the street), Ghezzi's Market :)

Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Dick and Sue,

We really enjoyed our stay here in this nice little house. This house is the 2nd best thing in Muskegon besides the sand dunes. You both have very good taste and I personally felt like meeting your couple after I saw the house. Keep it up!

We had good memories for 3 days in this house.

The kids had a lot of fun on the bikes.

Thank you for letting us lend those.

Wishing you best regards, Yeleti family from Indy
