Opinion of condo rental

  • 5 of 5

As a couple who recently rented the condo for 6 days, we were very pleased with the accommodations. It felt like being at home. Dealing with the owner was a pleasant experience. The grounds were lush with plantings and it felt like being in the Garden of Eden. Everything needed in the kitchen was in good supply. There was a table and 4 chairs off set from the living room and it was lit very nicely. The shower/bathroom worked very well. It was a bit small but served its purpose. There was A TV, radio and VCR in the living room even a computer. The pool was large and had plenty of chairs available to sit by poolside. The hot tub was available until 1 a.m. This condo was exactly as it was shown in the ad. An outside deck was nice. Shopping and restaurants were within walking distance. Prices were not expensive at the stores or restaurants. It served our purpose and was a very relaxing atmosphere. Walk to the fishermans wharf and go on a whale watch. Weather was perfect.

You are ABSOLUTELY on vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This is a very special property! The swimming pool, deck, hot tub, gardens all combine to create a serenity and energy that is uniquely Provincetown - and uniquely, this property. We booked 9 mos in advance and felt quite a bit of anticipation building up to our arrival. We were not disappointed and furthermore, we were delighted and feeling more and more relaxed just as soon as we entered through the gate!

The apartment has just about everything you need - we borrowed a wine opener from a neighbor before realizing there was more than one corkscrew available to us in the nicely stocked kitchen. Overall, it's very cozy and nicely appointed. You really don't need to bring much from home at all! And we knew that if we did need anything or had any questions, Bill would be readily available to help. And he did and was.

My wife and I would definitely recommend this place! We're already looking at when we can return. Thanks so much Bill (and to your really lovely neighbors as well)!

Well appointed apartment in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

Bill and Jim's apartment is comfortable, attractive and supremely well located in the beautiful west end of Provincetown. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, even though late in the season. We especially liked the combo lock on the door: no keys needed! Kensington Gardens has lovely grounds and an even lovelier pool area, and the hot tub is a great bonus. We found more than expected cleaning items, helpful since we had a nine-day stay. The bed is comfortable, and the inflatable mattress in the sofa bed is, too. There's an awesome Bluetooth Bose speaker to connect to phones and computer; it's so good I want to buy one. The cookware is nicer than in any other vacation rental I've found, and the compact dishwasher held more than expected. Excellent hot water & pressure.

Already re-booked for next year!

  • 5 of 5

This was the second year in a row that we stayed in Kensington Gardens (Unit #7). And we absolutely loved it! The location is perfect (one block off of Commercial St. on the West End) and the owner (Bill) is extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. The private (and heated!) pool is icing on the cake! We have already re-booked for next year (Family Week)! Can't wait!

Loved this place!!!

  • 5 of 5

We were happily surprised by how amazing this place was! Everything was perfectly clean and had all we needed. Pool access was the best treat with other guests, fun children and quiet adult swim from 1-3. Perfect distance from town and the owners were very helpful!

Better every year!

  • 5 of 5

This is our fourth year renting the week of July 4th, and each year it keeps getting better! Bill has made improvements/upgrades to the place each year. It's always a pleasant surprise to see what's new. The condo complex is well located and has all the amenities to make your time there unforgettable. Bill is great; he's super responsive to any questions or concerns you might have. I wholeheartedly recommend!

Car: not necessary

Much of the flavor of Provincetown has been preserved in the quaint old houses, cottages, and colonials that line its narrow streets. Great beaches, whale watching, Trolley tours, dining, night life, and shopping define a small part of the charm of this town first occupied by the Pilgrim's in 1620. Gentle sea breezes compliment Summer average daily high temperature in the upper 70ies. Evening Summer lows often reach into the low 60ies.

Other Activities: winery tours, whale watching, Trolley tours
