This house was very nice. Location was great and the beach was perfect. Very short walk to it.....
The house was extremely clean and private. My family had an absolutely wonderful time.
The only downfall was that one bedroom and the general living area had no air conditioning. Was only a problem for our first day because the heat wave ended and it was fine. Our refrigerator wasn't working and the owner came immediately and checked it. When he found it not working, he came early the next morning with a new refrigerator. I will be renting this property again for sure.
We were two families with 4 young kids (age 4, 2, 1, <1). The layout was excellent for us with a full bath and living area on each floor. Gave us some separation for getting ready to go out. The house did have a bit of an ant problem but that wasn't a huge deal. It is on the lakeside of route 9N but you aren't really close to the water. Access to the association beach is at least 5 minute walk on rough road or 1 minute drive (walk is not a straight-line to the lake). Better for us to drive because the walk wasn't good us with the kids. You can't see the beach from the house. The beach is just OK. Was nice to not have to go to a town beach though. 4 Docks for boats so you have to swim between them until you go out beyond them. Overall, a nice house which served as well.
