About the property

The bungalow is situated on Galmpton Park, a small development of privately owned holiday bungalows that lies on the outskirts of Galmpton Village in a designated area of outstanding beauty. The Park itself overlooks the River Dart and is about 2 miles away from the popular fishing Port of Brixham. In Galmpton itself there is a Village Pub, Post Office Stores and hairdressers.

A comfortable bungalow that accommodates up to 4 persons in 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and Bedroom 2 has Comfortable Adult bunk beds and a fitted wardrobe.

The shower room has tastefully been refitted and the kitchen was refurbished in 2014.There is a comfortable t lounge with traditional comfortable cottage suite.

Outside there is a small patio with table and chairs for our visitors to enjoy the tranquility of the area.

Electricity and bed linen is included in the weekly tariff.

Parking for one vehicle is situated near to the bungalow.

One small dog is accepted.

Accommodation and Area Lovely

We had a marvelous week staying in Galmpton. The accommodation was really lovely. Spotlessly clean, lovely décor, all in excellent condition and with everything you could need for a week away. The location is superb. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful and great places to visit all within a few miles. The views of the river are quite lovely. We would definitely return, we all had a great time. Its the perfect location for children too, very safe and plenty of things to do, all very near by. Gorgeous coastline and scenery in the area.

Lovely clean and tranquil place for a holiday .

The palms is a lovely bungalow, just a place to relax and enjoy your holiday, and I have to say a fantastic shower which is always a good start, very clean and well presented, a wide selection of birds greet you every morning waiting for their morning treat's. A very enjoyable holiday.

A delightful bungalow and location

This was our second time to stay at The Palms. It is a delightful bungalow, very comfortable and welcoming. It really is a home from home stay. The location is excellent not far from Paignton, Brixham, the Steam Train, the Zoo together, with some lovely walks.

Beautiful location

This is a lovely little bungalow set in a charming location, very clean and well equipped for a great peaceful holiday.

Brixham, Paignton and Torquay are within easy reach ( bus stop at entrance.)

We will definitely be returning next year!

The property was ideal for us a family of 4. It is very well maintained in a beautiful location. A quiet country spot but just a short drive from the towns of Torbay. Our 5 year old twins particularly loved the bunk beds ! Couldn't fault the accommodation in any way.

Bookings are usually Saturday to Saturday but other days will be considered out of season. Weekends or Part Week bookings of a minimum of 4 nights will be considered. Electricity is included in the price.
The property should not be sub let.
We operate a no smoking policy. We accept one small dog.
Bed linen and towels will be provided if required.
The property can be occupied from 2.00 pm on day of arrival.
We ask you to vacate the property by 10.00 am on day of departure to enable us to prepare it for other guests.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
