Galmpton Bungalow Rental Photos and Description

The bungalow is situated on Galmpton Park, a small development of privately owned holiday bungalows that lies on the outskirts of Galmpton Village in a designated area of outstanding beauty. The Park itself overlooks the River Dart and is about 2 miles away from the popular fishing Port of Brixham. In Galmpton itself there is a Village Pub, Post Office Stores and hairdressers.

A comfortable bungalow that accommodates up to 4 persons in 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and Bedroom 2 has Comfortable Adult bunk beds and a fitted wardrobe.

The shower room has tastefully been refitted and the kitchen was refurbished in 2014.There is a comfortable t lounge with traditional comfortable cottage suite.

Outside there is a small patio with table and chairs for our visitors to enjoy the tranquility of the area.

Electricity and bed linen is included in the weekly tariff.

Parking for one vehicle is situated near to the bungalow.

One small dog is accepted.

Home from Home

This is the second year to stay at Galmpton Park , but the first time to stay in The Palms bungalow. The accommodation was excellent - everything we needed - just like being at home. We have two boys aged 19 and 15 and the bunk beds were a good fit for them. It is dog friendly which is a real bonus. Lovely gesture to leave milk in fridge together with tea and coffee and also a welcome card. We met some of the bungalow owners who were very friendly and helpful especially when we needed advice on the best route to take to get to Teignmouth. Great walks to be had around the area. Would love to stay at The Palms again.

The property was very clean and tidy

The property was in a good location for us as it was easy to get to the ferries and the steam trains. The weather was good which was a bonus and we had a lovely time exploring all the different little harbours.

Cosy bungalow in a beautiful setting

We would highly recommend this bungalow. Set on a beautiful quiet site in a great location for exploring the local area. The bungalow was very comfortable, spotless on arrival and provided great views over the river Dart. The village is just off the main road between Brixham and Paignton so very easy to get to many of the local beaches, towns and amenities.

Quiet and peaceful holiday.

Bungalow was as expected from the photos,everything was clean and tidy with instructions for use of equipment and location of recycle bins.Tea,coffee and milk was provided for a most welcome cuppa after journey.The location was central for trips to Dartmouth, Paignton and Torquay with much to see and do.We would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to family and friends.

Very clean and good facilities

We had a wonderful holiday. The bungalow was clean & tidy with everything we needed. There was instructions on how to work things & a kind note from the owner. Great views & close to lots of things for kids to do. Would of liked some spare bedding as Mum in double bed, kids in bunks, I brought my own blow up bed as didn't want to sleep with Mum but no bedding spare. Overall I would recommend the accommodation. Great holiday would come again.

The property was a compact but well appointed holiday bungalow.

the bungalow met our expectations being exactly as described however the location surpassed our expectations. It was set in a small holiday park with beautiful views up the dart valley from the front door. Although we only stayed for a short break we would like to return at some point to explore the many wonderful walks in the area which were accessible from the holiday property. There is so much to do in the area and plenty of shops nearby for provisions. Even though the weather was very cold in February we were warm and cosy in the bungalow and found plenty to do in the nearby area. A particularly nice touch was the welcome card left for us on the table when we arrived. I have already recommended this property to my friends and family and I also hope to return myself later in the year.
