Very nice and spacious!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week in July and couldn't have been happier with our accommodations. The home is well maintained, clean and very spacious. With a group of seven and two small children not once did we feel on top if each other. The deck and the large backyard were great additions to the home. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were very pleased that the grill was all ready for us. The home is very private and on a cul -de-sac so there was absolutely no traffic. We had a great time and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

Fantastic, clean, spacious home in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

We had the most comfortable stay at this home! My family/friends and I were surprised by how spacious this home was. The photos don't really give that impression but trust me it's a great home for 8 people. The back patio was perfect for BBQ dinners. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed. The location was just a bike ride away from town. Plus, we were right near the Alpaca farm. If you have time definitely stop by. I will be back next year.

Wonderful and Peaceful Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We usually rent a home that is located with in walking distance to town in Oak Bluffs. From the beautiful wooded backyard, walking trail and expansive deck to the well appointed and spacious rooms, this home was exactly what we needed in terms of accomplishing out goal of rest and relaxation. The house was centrally located to everything and whether by bike or car we found it easy to access the ferries, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, etc. The owners of the property were responsive and customer service oriented and checked in with us in the beginning of our stay to make sure we were comfortable. The home is also family friendly. There were children's books and crayons in a cupboard, outlet covers over the electrical sockets, the Alpaca Farm and strawberry patch with in walking distance and a big backyard that would be perfect for kickball or another family activity. Thanks so much for a lovely stay...we will definitely stay again!!

Serene, comfortable and centrally located...

  • 5 of 5

This house was an unforgettable vacation for two years in a row. It is centrally located to any point on the island and yet once the "grocery run" is done, you can hit the various beaches or towns, and never really get "stuck in traffic". Long Pond is a short ride away, and if you have a little more travel time, the surf at Aquinnah is amazing... Even Chappy is a quick jaunt. Want fresh seafood to prepare for dinner? A ride out to Menemsha, and a snack at the Bite, and you still have plenty of time to marinade the morning's catch before dinner. Simply put, a spacious and very comfortable house - tremendous as a base camp and a regroup and recover spot for delicious and unforgattable family meals!

Peace and quiet, clean and spacious.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 2 weeks and loved our stay. We had rented the same house for 10 years so we were ready for a change. This house was perfect for our family of 5. With 2 teenage girls and an 11 year old girl having the separate suite for the teens made everybody happy. When we had a problem with the air conditioner the owners had it replaced immediately. It was very clean and in excellent condition. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. The area is quiet/peaceful yet close to a main road and neighbors very nice. We are already booked to come back for 2 weeks in 2013!!!

A wonderful MV home!

  • 5 of 5

We recently shared this home with another family of four, and it was perfect. There was plenty of room for everybody, and the rooms are arranged so that everyone has some privacy when needed.

The house is clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. It sits on a large lot in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is centrally located on the island, with easy access to the bike path.

Joanne is wonderfully accessible and helpful--she really goes out of her way to make sure your stay is a pleasant one.

We have rented other homes on Martha's Vineyard and will definitely return to this one.
