Kathryn purchased this cabin in 1996
We love the southern Utah mountains, the central location from northern Utah or Las Vegas, the great snow for winter skiing and the clean, cool mountain air all summer. We have enjoyed bringing our family here for years and now love sharing Brian Head with our grandchildren.
Everything you could want in a vacation home and year round activities in the most beautiful surroundings anywhere.
Our stay in Spruce Street cabin was fantastic the cabin has everything you will ever need. The location was great and we loved the weather. We had a very memory making family reunion for our entire family. If you enjoy the great outdoors and love having lots of outdoor activities at your door step then this is the place for you. We stayed in July we would like to come back and try it is the winter also.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Great home for larger group, up to 20. Large eating area in kitchen, which was also good for playing cards on. Large open living area with pool table. We watched football, played pool and enjoyed the beautiful scenery all at the same time. Beds we're comfortable and linens we're clean. Only a 3 minute drive to Navajo Lodge. One thing to keep in mind, if it is snowing make sure you bring chains!! We saw dear, squirrels, rabbits and even a bear, which was very exciting. Would have given it 5 stars, but a few things broken including only toilet on the third floor. All in all, great family fun.
Our family enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for everybody. Plenty of room. We had a blast!
Amazing experience! Great place!
it was spring break trip for three families and there was plenty of spaces, especially the kitchen and dining area fit all of us at once and that usually rare. overall we had great time. We could have comfortably fit one more family. It was nice to have the pool table and extra beds. we brought some of our own pots and pans and we were glad, there was a lot of pot and pans, they were quite scratched and i assume it got a good use from many people who stayed there over the years. :)
most of us were not used to carpet in the house so it was bit getting used to the carpet. There is three bedroom on the first floor only with one bathroom and three bathrooms on main floor with only a master bedroom so the layout was bit confusing. it seems that they have added on a lot of spaces for it was bit confusing but great for hide and seek for the kids :).
We also forgot to bring extra large trash bag and only one was available so it was hard to keep taking out little trashes. I know that the contract indicated that we would need to bring our own things but I think trash bag would been helpful. At the end of check out, there was two pages for check out procedure check off list and it was very detailed but by the time we did all two pages, it did feel like we basically cleaned it all morning and were drained from all the cleaning.
The space was on the higher price point (600 per nite) during it's off peak season, I was hoping for bit more update to the space.
We had an amazing time. Our family was able to spend time together and have our own space when we wanted to map or relax. There was plenty of seating for family meals and game time. We recommend this home for families or a group of adults.
