Our stay in Spruce Street cabin was fantastic the cabin has everything you will ever need. The location was great and we loved the weather. We had a very memory making family reunion for our entire family. If you enjoy the great outdoors and love having lots of outdoor activities at your door step then this is the place for you. We stayed in July we would like to come back and try it is the winter also.

I love this property, beautiful place on the mountain with hiking, mountain biking, and fishing in the summer, and skiing and snowboarding in the winter. I've stayed a few times and love it every time.

Wonderful with a 5 concerns.

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful stay with 3 of our children and their families. There were 20 of us in all and we fit nicely. Our 12 grandchildren enjoyed being in the loft together. The kitchen was great. We felt right at home. The master bedroom's bathroom was great.

There were some concerns:

1 My wife and I were the first to arrive - it was late and dark and we found 8 inches of hardened snow in the drive way. It appeared to have been there for some time. We are both in our mid sixties and in the cold (probably 20 degrees ) we were trying our best to clean the drive way. An hour later my kids started showing up and helped us finish and push our cars in. We had trouble getting our cars into the driveway 2 of the 3 nights we stayed there. We called the land manager when we first arrived and she said she'd have it cleared out the next day, but never did anything.

2. There was a beautiful pool table, but only one good cue stick. The cloth on the pool table needs a little TLC.

3. All smoke detectors in the loft had been removed. All our grandchildren were up there and we worried about that a little. There was one upstairs off the loft near bathroom.

4. There were portable electric heaters in 3 bedrooms in the basement, but they had no electric outlets that worked. We stayted there the first part of April, but it was very cold at night. They had vents, but the upstairs was warm and the heat would turn off and the basement became very cold. Again I texted the property manager - but she did nothing.

5. There was a big screen TV and DVD player in the living room, but there were no remotes to either.

Incredible Week!

  • 5 of 5

We have been to Brian Head many times and this was one of our favorite cabins. There was plenty of room for our large group and the kids loved having their own space in the loft. There was room in the yard to build our own sled track and the playset was a huge bonus. We also loved that we were able to use the garage for all of our skis, snowboards, and sleds as many cabins don't grant access to the garage space. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Family Fun!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Spruce Cabin. We loved the large loft area with all the beds--it was great for the cousins to be all together. The owner was prompt at answering any questions we had. Would reserve this space again.

Fantastic cabin for large group

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our 4 nights stay in February. Great home-away place for our large group of 16. Every family in our group got their bedroom, with kids fit nicely in the big loft on the 3rd floor. It also has large dining area and kitchen, which worked out greatly for our big group. We prepared our meals for most nights since there aren't many options in town. There is large open living area with pool table and TV/VCR. The kids enjoyed a good collection of videos provided by owner, we also played pool and cards. Beds were comfortable , linens were plenty clean, and plenty of towels were provided. There was only a few minute drive to Navajo lifts, there is also snowmobile rental at the entrance of the road, we spent most time skiing and snowmobiling. The owner and the manager were also very responsive through email or phone contact.

One thing to keep in mind, if you go to the cabin during winter months, make sure you bring chains! Or better yet, drive AWD or 4WD vehicles, part of the road was a little steep. Overall, a great place to stay !
