Lovely property, perfect peaceful location, can't recommend highly enough.
Peaceful location, ideally placed for exploring - PERFECT!
We loved our 4 night stay at 3 chimneys. The barn itself was just perfect, really well decorated, immaculately clean with everything we needed. Loved the log burner and the space on the whole.
We could have done with more time to explore as there is so much to do in the area. Easy access to everything we needed.
Hosts were friendly too and made us feel safe and welcome - thanks Marion for the eggs!!
Definitely will return for longer next time.
comfortable and homely
The cottage was cosy and comfortable and just as I hoped it would be. I particularly loved the log burner
We chose this property because of its proximity to the many attractions in Kent /Sussex. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and was warm, quiet and comfortable. Marion, our host was very helpful with advice and ideas. It was lovely at the end of the day to sit outside and have a glass of wine surrounded by the lovely countryside. Only minor complaint was the slow wifi but this was more than compensated by the positives.
cosy country cottage
Lovely cosy cottage. Away from the hustle and bustle enjoy being surrounded by nature. Horses in a nearby field, bees buzzing around the beautiful smelling lavender. At night could sit out and watch the stars while listening to an owl hooting through the trees.
The accommodation was tidy and perfect for a short stay, complete with fireplace, and all kitchen necessities.
Lovely, peaceful, cosy and the perfect location
A fabulous 3 night break and it was so relaxing we feel like we've been away for a week ! We travelled in in the immediate area with so many picturesque and interesting places nearby but also went to the coast which was reached in about 30 minutes.
Marion was the perfect host. Helpful and kind but not intrusive.
Perfect all round and we're already looking when we can come again to relax and recharge our batteries.
South East England abounds with castles gardens and historic houses. It is steeped in history. To mention a few, Batemans, the home of Rudyard Kipling, Sissinghurst Gardens, Bodiam Castle Leeds Caastle Scotney Castle and so many more too numerous to mention. The Bedgebury Pinetum is just a short walk away.
The exciting mountain bike track at Bedgebury is just accross the woods from us, and accessable from the cottage by bike
