Guestbook comments from the owner

This home is totally NEW (construction completed in January 2008), there have been no rentals as of 1/16/08.

Everything in the home is NEW, from furniture to dishes. The decorum is in soft warm tones with comfort and usability in mind.

A beautiful home, very convenient to the west entrance of Yellowstone, and with all the amenities

  • 5 of 5

Susan's home was beautiful, and just as advertised in the pictures. Beautiful interior, high ceilings, and large kitchen with nice pots/pans appliances. Completely furnished with comfortable beds and all the amenities of home. We really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and all the supplies -- T>P, soaps, detergent , plastic bags etc. Grocery shopping is available in town albeit a little high priced, but convenient. We went to the Rodeo Show nearby, and it was entertaining. There is a beautiful deck facing the mountains,

with patio furniture and a gas grill for cooking out. The master bathroom shower was great as well. The park entrance is a short distance away, and so exploring the different regions each day was also convenient. Susan was prompt with her replies and information, as well as with returning our deposit less cleaning fees, so very nice to work with. I would highly recommend this property to any of my friends, family or Vrbo users! Book early so you don't miss out. We had a wonderful stay. Our family of Nana, Papa, Mom Dad and two granddaughters.

Great house and location

  • 5 of 5

House was very well equipped!! We cooked most meals in and had everything we needed. Home was very clean, good size. Great location. Owner supplies things that are not common to other rentals such as dish soap, laundry detergent coffee filters etc and you leave leftover non-parish able such as spices and basic items which made it great for us.

The home was well appointed and very comfortable for our group of 6

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 6 adults had a lovely stay in Susan's comfortable home. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen (we are all avid cooks) and grill, we ate nearly every breakfast and dinner at the home so the spices, olive oil and good collection of pots, pans and knives was appreciated.

The houses close proximity to the West Yellowstone gate made our daily trips into the park easy. Overall Susan's house was wonderful place to be while vacationing near Yellowstone.

Very nice

  • 4 of 5

We loved everything about it except one thing. We loved the look and feel. We loved comfortably. We loved the amenities. It was clean and well maintained. Customer service was great. Yellowstone was close. Grocery stores and restaurants were close. What we didn't love was the very poor WiFi. Some of us had work to do it and it next to impossible with no service and terrible WiFi. That was the only downfall to the whole experience. We would recommend this to anyone, as long as you are not counting on having service or WiFi.

Owner's Response: I am sorry for your trouble with the WIFI. I have never had a complaint before. I use the WIFI at Elk Crossing for my business. I will check into this.

Perfect place for a family Yellowstone vacation

  • 5 of 5

I, my wife, and three kids stayed May 27 to June 3, 2016. That's a great time to visit Yellowstone save for the Memorial day weekend. The weather is cool during the day and chilly at night, and the crowds are minimal (for Yellowstone) except Saturday and Sunday before Memorial day. The house is beautiful, clean, and in a great location; just 7 minutes from the Yellowstone West entrance. The kitchen is well-equipped; there's little you need to bring except food. They even have a blender and crock pot and a good selection of spices.

We really appreciated the garage as it started to hail just as we pulled in and we were able to unload in the comfort of a large, clean garage that was tall enough to accommodate the luggage carrier on top of our SUV. With the chilly nights, we made good use of the thermostat-controlled gas fireplace. On our first night, we had a fox visit the yard and got within about 20 feet of it; a thrill for the kids! Overall, a great stay at a nice house.

Great floor plan with an open living area and the master away from the other rooms. Clean, well equiped and nice rustic decor. Location is great just outside of town. Quiet area with nice views. Thank you!
