Great choice for a stay near Yellowstone

  • 4 of 5

Lovely house a few miles outside West Yellowstone and the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. We were far enough out of town that it was very quiet but near enough that we even went back into the park a couple of nights after eating dinner to watch animals. There are a few other houses in the area so you are not completely isolated. Very near to the site of the local rodeo that we went to one night. There were six of us, my daughter and her husband, two teenage grandsons, and my wife and me. Three bedrooms and a big open living room, dining room, kitchen area. The house was very nice and well kept and the beds were good. It made for a very good week of vacation.

Everything we hoped it would be!

  • 5 of 5

We had never been to this part of the country and had no idea what to expect. It's always a little scary to rent a house online but this was just as it was described. We had a beautiful view of the mountains, easy access to a hiking trail and a short drive to Yellowstone. The city of West Yellowstone has a wonderful small-town atmosphere and you can tell its where more tourists in the area stay. We loved the feeling of being outside the "city" with the views and the peacefulness. There was a place to horseback ride within a couple miles that everyone in the family loved. We could have easily spent another two weeks and explored even more areas of the park.

A beautiful home, very convenient to the west entrance of Yellowstone, and with all the amenities

  • 5 of 5

Susan's home was beautiful, and just as advertised in the pictures. Beautiful interior, high ceilings, and large kitchen with nice pots/pans appliances. Completely furnished with comfortable beds and all the amenities of home. We really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and all the supplies -- T>P, soaps, detergent , plastic bags etc. Grocery shopping is available in town albeit a little high priced, but convenient. We went to the Rodeo Show nearby, and it was entertaining. There is a beautiful deck facing the mountains,

with patio furniture and a gas grill for cooking out. The master bathroom shower was great as well. The park entrance is a short distance away, and so exploring the different regions each day was also convenient. Susan was prompt with her replies and information, as well as with returning our deposit less cleaning fees, so very nice to work with. I would highly recommend this property to any of my friends, family or Vrbo users! Book early so you don't miss out. We had a wonderful stay. Our family of Nana, Papa, Mom Dad and two granddaughters.

Great house and location

  • 5 of 5

House was very well equipped!! We cooked most meals in and had everything we needed. Home was very clean, good size. Great location. Owner supplies things that are not common to other rentals such as dish soap, laundry detergent coffee filters etc and you leave leftover non-parish able such as spices and basic items which made it great for us.
