Just a Few Minutes Stroll from the Pituresque Village of Bourton-on-the-Water
About Lynsey Hodgkinson
We are a family of four, our two sons are aged 24 and 26 and we have a 4 year old West Highland Terrier 'Millie'. We chose to have a holiday home in Bourton-on-the-Water as it is such a pretty and friendly village. We especially love the freedom of being able to walk into the village and enjoy its facilities, such as lovely shops and restaurants without having to get in the car.

Why Lynsey Hodgkinson chose Bourton-on-the-Water
We chose this property because it has lots of traditional charm and character. When we first walked in we knew it had potential, with it's lovely spacious, bright layout. We just knew, with a lot of hard work and a bit of inspiration, we could make this lovely stone Cotswold cottage, with it's pretty walled garden, a very special place to spend time.

Didn’t want to leave the cottage had everything. Very clean and so close to all amenities.
The cottage was immaculate, tastefully presented, yet cosy and comfortable. We had a relaxing week in superb surroundings - even fresh flowers and chocolate to greet us and milk in the fridge for a cuppa on arrival. There are plenty of eateries in the village to suit all tastes so we didn't cook once (except for breakfasts!). All-in-all, a very successful week and we will definitely be back.
Excellent option for Bourton-On-The-Water
Very well maintained, clean property. Communication with the owner Lynsey was excellent, she was very helpful throughout. The cottage is on the outskirts of the village and well away from the crowds. Mousetrap Inn just across the street and it is a short walk from central Bourton-On-The-Water. Highly recommended.
Jasmine cottage very good
For a small cottage it is one of the best we have stayed in. On arrival it was spotless . Would recommend it
The Perfect Cottage
The Jasmine Cottage is so beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you’ll need in this very lovely village of Burton-on-the-Water. Directions to the cottage, instructions in its use and Lynsey’s availability for our questions was clearly communicated via email. She also extended her hospitality with delicious chocolates, milk, tea and coffee in her well equipped kitchen and a lovely bouquet of flowers. Thank you, Lynsey and Darrell!

Beautifully renovated cottage in a perfect location
The cottage has been beautifully renovated to a high standard and was pristinely clean. Lovely courtyard garden and comfy beds! It's a wonderful location being a very short walk to the centre of Bourton on the Water and the shops. There are country walks from the doorstep, including walks to Upper and Lower Slaughter. The best part for us was the pub opposite The Mousetrap Inn which served great food and drinks which we could enjoy without having to worry about driving anywhere.
