About the property

8 bedroom holiday let with panoramic views of Irish sea and Clwydian range.

Rathmines holiday let is a very large four storey Victorian era terraced building capable of sleeping seventeen people with many original features including lead light windows and ornate plaster cornice ceilings. The whole building has recently undertaken a full renovation and opened for guests late June 2015. There are eight bedrooms, two have fixed double beds and one room has three fixed single beds in. The remaining five rooms have super king size beds that can be split into two single beds. This gives huge flexibility for group size and composition. Please contact the owner if trying to book within 6 weeks of arrival date as considerable discounts are available at the last minute!

Four rooms have en-suite shower units and sink. There are another two showers on the ground floor and two baths one normal sized one and a huge whirlpool bath.

Two kitchens provide more than enough cooking space for seventeen people. One is on the ground floor and the other, master kitchen, is on the first floor serving the dining room which has ample room for all guests.

The whirlpool bath can be found on the second floor. A total of two lounges provide seating for plenty of people. One lounge has a television and entertainment centre the other a television and seven foot pool table.

The amazing views can be enjoyed from the bay windows or the balcony to the front overlooking the beach. A large decorative yard and private parking to the rear provide more privacy if needed.

It has easy access to most of North Wales being fifteen minutes drive from the A55 and a train station just over a mile away. Alternatively you can set out by bicycle and travel a good distance and back on the North Wales coastal path in a day.

Both the building and area are stunning. Originally constructed in 1896 Rathmines holiday let has retained many of its best features allowing you to return to a bygone era whilst incorporating every modern day commodity you could want to make your stay extra comfortable.

The building faces straight onto miles of sandy beach that stretch from Pensarn to Talacre. Prestatyn beach is two minutes walk and has internationally recognised blue flag status.

What makes this house unique

This building benefits from unmatched panoramic views of the Clwydian mountain range, Mynydd Hiraethog, the Irish sea and the Great Orme as well as an unbelievably beautiful beach 60 metres from the front door.

It can accommodate equipment such as kayaks, bicycles, fishing rods with ample exterior storage. Private parking for 4 cars makes arrival stress free and easy.

Our second time staying in this lovely house

A group of us from our church stayed here, ages ranging from 11 to 76. The shared living areas have once again been wonderful for relaxing, talking and having great fun together. The bedrooms and overall facilities are of a very high standard.

Adam, who looks after the house, was very helpful on the couple of times we needed to ask him questions.

Super family holiday home

We booked the Rathmines holiday home for a week for 15 us, 11 adults and 4 children. We had very effective communication with clear instructions from the owner prior to our arrival. There were enough parking spaces for 4 big/5 small cars at the back of the building to avoid parking fees. All the 8 bedrooms had comfortable beds with clean bedding and storage but some of the bigger rooms had better storage facilities to hang our clothes and of course some of the bedrooms have amazing sea view. Again not every bedroom was with an ensuite facilities but there were plenty of toilets and showers at different levels which made it very convenient for everyone. We spent most of our time in the second floor big kitchen and dining area with a very beautiful sea view. The main kitchen had everything you needed to cook for a large group. There was a relaxing Jacuzzi and game room with a decent size pool table. The owner provide small quantity of everyday essentials which is a nice touch on your arrival.

I must say there was not a lot to do in Rhyl but we were aware of that prior to our booking as we planned our days in the nearby beautiful places such as Llandudno, Conwy etc which are must to visit. There are plenty of walks, sites to see such as castles and things to do for all age group. We took the return Tramway to the Great Orme, Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways which was coast to coast with very beautiful scenery which I recommend.

Overall we would most certainly recommend Rathmines holiday home and our family will return again.

Wonderful holiday home for a large family

We spent a relaxing family holiday week at Rathmines in July.

With 9 adults, 3 children and 3 babies. Age range 6 months to 70 years!

Celebrations of twins 1st birthday and Nana's 70th.

The accommodation was excellent and enabled the families to enjoy their own space when required.

We found the property to be clean, tidy, really well equipped and conform exactly to, or exceed the description on-line.

It had a real homely feel and we found the small cottage style garden quite enchanting.

The whirlpool bath was much enjoyed by the children as was the pool table.

The pool room was popular with the Dads on an evening when the children were asleep in bed.

All the facilities were excellent and Adam the owner attended promptly to the one problem we

did experience with the boiler/hot water. He was helpful and courteous from first enquiry and

throughout the booking process.

The location so close to the beach was much appreciated by all.

We found pubs and restaurants in both Rhyl and Llandudno who coped well with our party of 15.

The area is well served by Take-aways.

We would recommend this property for large family gatherings.

Very pleased with property

Our party of 12 spent 3 nights over the bank holiday here .Ages 5-62. The property was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Directly opposite the beach and well situated for exploring north wales . The younger ones loved the den and spa bath went down well . All communication with owner was good . Would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent property very pleased

Our party of 12 spent 3 nights over the bank holiday at this property . Ages from 5-62. It is directly opposite the beach and a great base for exploring north wales . The property was very clean and well equipped and more than enough space for everyone . The youngsters loved the den and pool room. I would definitely recommend this property . Fantastic property, couldn't have asked for anything more

We ranged in age from 3 years up to 79, the house suited all of us, plenty of space to all be together and have some quiet time when needed.

The weather was glorious which helped but the house is ideally placed for getting out and about.

Kitchen equipment was the best we have ever had, thank you for a great birthday weekend we will be back
