About the property

8 bedroom holiday let with panoramic views of Irish sea and Clwydian range.

Rathmines holiday let is a very large four storey Victorian era terraced building capable of sleeping seventeen people with many original features including lead light windows and ornate plaster cornice ceilings. The whole building has recently undertaken a full renovation and opened for guests late June 2015. There are eight bedrooms, two have fixed double beds and one room has three fixed single beds in. The remaining five rooms have super king size beds that can be split into two single beds. This gives huge flexibility for group size and composition.

Four rooms have en-suite shower units and sink. There are another two showers on the ground floor and two baths one normal sized one and a huge whirlpool bath.

Two kitchens provide more than enough cooking space for seventeen people. One is on the ground floor and the other, master kitchen, is on the first floor serving the dining room which has ample room for all guests.

The whirlpool bath can be found on the second floor. A total of two lounges provide seating for plenty of people. One lounge has a television and entertainment centre the other a television and seven foot pool table.

The amazing views can be enjoyed from the bay windows or the balcony to the front overlooking the beach. A large decorative yard and private parking to the rear provide more privacy if needed.

It has easy access to most of North Wales being fifteen minutes drive from the A55 and a train station just over a mile away. Alternatively you can set out by bicycle and travel a good distance and back on the North Wales coastal path in a day.

Wonderful house, and a lovelier host!

Such a stunning house, perfect for big groups of friends and I'm sure families too! Pretty much everything you need is provided and there's plenty of helpful information to get you going. The size of the house is incredible, perfect for all of you to do something together or separate off easily. The views of the beach are gorgeous, especially from the bay windows. We all had such a lovely stay, between the beach and the entertainment the city offered we were always doing something fun. It was easy to book in all 14 of us at two lovely restaurants, Rossini's and Chilli Pink, would recommend both. Adam is so easy to communicate with and help you with whatever you need, thank you so much, we'd happily stay again!

fantastic house great location right on beautiful clean beach and well kept promanade

we had a great family weekend.

these are a few minor additions we felt would be useful

few more small kitchen knives extra mirrors in some bedrooms, hooks in hall for coates.

Hope you dont mind us mentioning these but we have a holiday cottage on dartmoor and always welcome feedback.

The house gave our large family group a fantastic opportunity to spend time together by the sea.

The house was all we had expected, and more. It is very spacious, warm, comfortable, well-equipped and nicely decorated, with a good blend of the original Victorian features with modern amenities. There are plenty of bathrooms, showers and toilets, and no problem with hot water or central heating (we were there during a very cold spell at the end of November). The kitchen is big, with a table in the centre, and has a dishwasher and freezer. One of the glories of the house is the huge dining room, accessed from the kitchen, with a table which can seat 18 people, and still room for chairs and a sofa. Through french doors it overlooks the clean, sandy beach across the road, and looks out on the sea.There is also a comfortable lounge which would not disgrace a London club, with television and easy chairs.

On the ground floor is a self-contained apartment with its own kitchen (with dishwasher, oven, fridge and freezer) and comfortable bedroom.

At the back of the house is a games room with a pool table. Beyond that is a dedicated car parking area with enough room for four cars. When we were there, one car had to be left on the road in front of the house, which was free during the night, £2 for the day starting at 0800.

During our stay we were so comfortable in the house, we hardly ventured out, but one expedition was made to a nearby Spar supermarket, which was very good, and another to one of the town's ethnic restaurants for a take-away meal, again very good.

The house was comfortable for all our large party, which included family members of all age-groups from grandparents in their sixties to small children 1 and 2 years old. We could only speculate how our stay could have been different had we been there during the summer, when the weather would have been better and more use could have been made of the beach and the sea, but then, we had quite realistic expectations of the weather on the N. Wales coast at the end of November.

In short therefore we had a terrific time, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, not usually having the opportunity to meet up in such numbers for a period of days. We should like to do it again some time.

One point worth mentioning is that Rhyl is not far from the A55 which links up with the M56 and (further on) the M6 - it is not that difficult to reach by road. During our stay we went into Liverpool, a journey which (because of the new bridge and road links) took just over an hour.

In short, this house is highly recommended.

The house was amazing so many rooms to explore and the big lounge was a super place for drinks

We went with 12 people to celebrate my birthday. All had a great time. The views was superb.

All bedding and towels was to a high standard.

Only one thing I think could be better is to bring the pool table in to the cinema room as it splits the group up the table being in outside building.

Always red hot water when ever you needed it.

Lovely property with lots of room for everyone

We had a great stay at Rathmines. Plenty of bedrooms, showers and toilets. There were 15 of us. We spent all our time in the kitchen and dining room area, enjoying the lovely view of the sea.

wonderful seafront house with bundles of character - we loved it!

We had a lovely week at Rathmines. The house was perfect for us all. The location, facilities and space that it offers were spot on. The house was well kitted out, which made such a difference - to be able to start holidaying without worrying about cleaning products and paper towels. The children loved the chill out room and the selection of dvds. Beautiful sunsets too!
