I loved vacationing with friends and family in the mountains and have visited many different mountain towns, but fell in love with Maggie Valley again, after visiting many times as a child. I searched long and hard for a perfect cabin and here it is, Bella Vista which means 'Beautiful View' in Italian. I am sure that you will enjoy this cabin as much have I have!
I purchased this cabin in 1999 and have met so many wonderful guest over the years who remain cherished friends.
Lisa Bradley purchased this cabin in 1999
Simply stated: THE VIEW and EASY PAVED ACCESS.
I could talk about the wonderful benefits of Bella Vista, however, I think my guest reviews say it all. I have so many guest who return year after year. Please take a moment to read the reviews and see what my guest are saying about Bella Vista.
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful place. This was our first visit to see the leaves and mountains. The turkeys, squirrels and birds came to visit everyday. Thanks again, we will see you next year.
Repeat of girls only vacation at Bella Vista. Had another great time. Enjoyed ourselves as much this year as last year. House is great, and location is perfect. Have made reservations for summer 2010.
We rented this house for the week of Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time. The house was so clean. The beds were very comfortable with very nice sheets. The kitchen was stocked so well with cookware and utensils, dishes and glassware with a nice big ice maker refrigerator.
The hot tub was large, clean and perfect. So relaxing and ready for use upon arrival. The valley mountain view is beautiful from the decks and from inside the main living area. Having a washer/dryer was handy, too, especially for drying our swimsuits.
Each couple had their own bathroom. The master has its own but the hallway bathroom is also open in to the second bedroom and it worked out to keep the hall door closed and they used it as their master bath, as well.
The house was conveniently located to the beautiful NC mountain area. Great for site seeing, fishing and restaurants. A nice 40 minute drive to The Biltmore, too.
I would definitely rent this home again and highly recommend it and the owner, Lisa, was wonderful to work with for our stay.
Although the house "not a cabin" was quite nice it wasn't for us. No place for "bigger" dogs to run and play, too close to neighbors and had to drive to hike anywhere. If your into watching TV and like birds this is the place to be and there is no sun on the house at any time of day.
Great location near so much. We went fishing all over, which was the purpose of our stay. Cabin has a great view and nicely appointed.
If you are looking for a cabin destination in the Smokey Mountains or near Asheville, I would highly recommend Bella Vista. The Cabin was clean and well stocked and the views were amazing. The hot tub was ready to go on arrival and the fireplace was prepped with a starter log. There is a deck off of the living room and another deck off of the Master bedroom and both have great views. You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the serenity of the mountains or sit by a fire inside. The cabin is about a thirty five minute drive to Asheville and about 30-35 minutes to Smokey Mountain national park and Blue Ridge Parkway. There is also a ski resort about ten minutes away (closed during my trip) and a casino in Cherokee--though gambling is not my thing--about twenty minutes away. The owner responded promptly both to the booking request and to all other inquiries.
The house and location was perfect for my wife and I. Everything was well stocked, with many thoughtful amenities in the kitchen. Firewood was plentiful. The hot tub was bubbling away when we arrived. The gas grill was great for steaks. Halfway up the mountain on the southern side of the valley, the view is excellent.
The size of house is probably best for a small family or two couples.
We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely rent again.
