Nicest location in town! Beautiful historic Italianate home built in 1868. The 'Pond Winslow' homestead has been awarded the prestigious Heritage Preservation award for Honor and Respect by the Saugatuck Douglas Historical Society. Located on the hill over looking the town square. The home has been beautifully updated, including kitchen, newly remodeled bathrooms and restored old growth hardwood flooring through out. First floor includes, dine in kitchen with laundry, living room, dining room, half bath, bed room (queen bed) with en suite full bath, and glassed/screened in porch. Second floor has master bedroom (queen bed) with private sun porch, 3rd bedroom (full on bottom, single on top) and full bath. Kitchen is fully out fitted - just bring your favorite food and beverages. Bedrooms and baths are complete with linens. Beautiful flag stone patio with large built in fire pit, lots of grilling accessories. 'Up North' feel in town! In laws want to come too? Ask about the additional cottage with room for two!
Quiet, peaceful location surrounded by mature trees and tranquil gardens, yet just a few steps from the thriving downtown with all of its associated activities: Shops, Antique Stores, Art Galleries, Restaurants, Bars and Coffee shops. Utilize the chain ferry and walk or ride your bike to the beautiful Oval Beach. Easy drive to the many local golf courses, Fenn Valley Vineyards, Crane's Apple Orchard, Dune Schooners and other area attractions.

Hello, Happy Family Picture---traveling some where????. Graduated from Saugtuck High School in 1981. Family has owned the house since 1978. Bought the house from my mom 20 years back or so, planned to live there, but life got in the way!!! Get back when we can, our loss is your gain!
Kenneth A. Morris purchased this house in 1978
It is the house I grew up in, would never let it go... come visit and you will see why!!!
Wonderfull old house that overlooks downtown, at least when the leaves are not on the tress. Very enjoyable as you can walk to everything in town, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Park the car at the house, and forget about it for the rest of your stay. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are all up to date and in good clean condition. Additionally, local management and over site of the property ensures none of the unforeseen problems that can result from long distance owners that may not be fully aware of the day to day situation.
March 7th, 2014 - Wonderful weekend with our dearest friends at your lovely home, we will definetly be back! Good eats, love the Butler Pantry kitchen goodies, etc. Still 20" snow on the ground in March. Good vibes from the old house, pleasant views from every room
This is probably one of the cutest houses in Saugatuck. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in!! Would definitely recommend this home and would enjoy staying here again when the weather is warmer and there is more going on in town. We knew it was going to rain so we brought movies to watch but surprised to find out that there does not seem to be a DVD player?
This wonderful home is the perfect venue for hosting a large family or group event in Saugatuck. Accompanied by cheerful cracking of fire in the fireplace, we were able to host family meals and holiday gatherings with friends and family. Simply put, it was fantastic!
And, following checkout, when we realized a watch had been forgotten by one of our party, Ken helped arrange a speedy recovery and handoff. Much appreciated effort and follow through.
We wholeheartedly recommend the home. And, look forward to returning in the future.
Phenomenal!!! Nothing less than perfect from location to smallest detail.
Best Location in town. Just a short 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Conveniently equipped, extremely clean and Beautifully decorated, to make you feel right at home. We Absolutely loved this vacation home and most of all, can't wait to visit again.
Sincerely, The Harker's
This home provides a warm, charming atmosphere within a few blocks of downtown Saugatuck, MI. It is the perfect location for exploring the area on bike or in the car. Ken is a friendly, attentive owner who is readily available to answer questions. We loved our visit and hope to return in the near future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
There were 5 of us ladies that spent 3 days/2 nights at the Pond Winslow home in Saugatuck. We had a fantastic time, and loved the house, the location, and the condition of the very comfortable home! I especially was impressed at how organized everything was, and how clean and well furnished. Would absolutely recommend this rental and hope we can return next year. So happy we found this gem. Thanks. Karla
