About The Owner

4 sons, 2 daughter in laws, 3 grandsons, 1 grand daughter, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 6 chickens. Very Blessed.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2000

Why The Owner chose Lake Keowee

We both grew up around the lake and loved sailing, water skiing, swimming and fishing and wanted our 4 boys to have the fun experience of a simple cabin on the water.

What makes this cabin unique

Very quiet. I love getting up early and sitting on the porch swing with my cup of coffee, mesmerized by the tranquil water. Waiting for the occasional splash as a fish jumps, or the hum of a fishing boat going home after an early morning catch is about as exciting as the morning gets.We all love skiing and swimming and fishing from the dock, grilling out and just relaxing.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We were thrilled arriving to a quaint, clean, log cabin in the woods. Our three days here in your home was so peaceful and comfortable. Swinging on your front porch gave us an experience of going back in time.

Great log cabin on the lake!

We stayed here for the weekend to attend a Clemson game. It was a quaint, rustic, comfortable, log cabin with a gorgeous view of Lake Keowee. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks so much!

Fun Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We originally came to the cabin to celebrate some birthdays and to attend a wedding when we found ourselves having to flee the coast due to Hurricane Matthew. We contacted the owner and not only did she allow us to come two days earlier but gave us a discount due to the circumstances. The cabin was so nice and cozy and had everything we needed. Our kids enjoyed the canoe and paddle board and we enjoyed the view and the peaceful surroundings. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for our two families

  • 5 of 5

We had two families in our group....came down for a Clemson football game and wanted something different than a hotel room...especially since we had five boys under the age of 12. This house was perfect for us....we made a fire outside at the fire pit one night, uses the grill both nights, and enjoyed hanging out in the deck while the boys played in the dock. The bunk room in the loft was perfect for the boys......all around great home.

The cabin was an awesome get away from home and work family retreat.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed the rustic look and feel of the cabin. It was spacious, clean and cozy. We love the lake. The lake is beautiful, although we didn't go to far from our dock, the lake was very clean and was vey nice swimming in. Love it. Will go back again. Had fun with paddle boards, canoe and paddle boat. Small hike up the hill from lake to cabin, but it was exercise. Boat traffic should be slowed down to a no wake in the cove area, but that would be my only suggestion for the owners. Love the cabin, will come back. Thanks for letting us enjoy your sweet home away from home.

A great weekend

  • 5 of 5

We spent a weekend here and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away. A quiet location, a clean cabin, all appliances were in working order, well stocked kitchen, etc. We spent our time paddle boarding, swimming, cooking, or just sitting on the dock with our morning coffee - or rocking on the porch with a glass of wine in the evening. A very comfortable home, and a trip we will remember.
