San Remo is located on scenic Highway 30A, which runs through various towns on the beach between Destin and Panama City Beach. We prefer this area since there are no high-rises, crowds, or traffic jams. ( I consider 2 cars waiting at a stop sign as heavy traffic.) San Remo has 32 units, which is large enough to have a great pool, spa, and workout area, but small enough to maintain the peaceful feeling of this entire area.

The '30A' area has the best to offer in terms of the beach, scenery, and great restaurants of all types. San Remo has a complete complement of facilities without the crowds of Destin area properties. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! (Check out the Guest reviews!) Our unit has the highest quality interior and furnishings, professionally decorated in a 'coastal' theme. The kitchen and baths have been fully customized and upgraded from the standard unit.

Just now recovering from our beach trip and 2 graduations and wanted to touch base about your condo at San Remo. Thank you for leasing to us! We loved the condo and the location and the amenities. The weather and the beach and the condo were all that we needed for a great few days relaxing on 30a. San Remo is well cared for and a very pleasant place to stay. Your condo was spotless,alll works well like wifi and airconditioning,etc. We loved Stinkys,Vue, and 30a…Cafe Tango was ok but maybe not on their "game" the night we went. Your condo was so easy, great for walking and biking during the day. We rented our bikes from Buddy's (a block down as he was way less than LeDolce on sight).

Will call again when we are going to the beach, thanks for sharing.

Fabulous family getaway

My family of 4 stayed here for a great Thanksgiving getaway. The location of the condo is great! You can walk to rent bikes, to the ice cream shop or even pick up lunch or dinner. Condo had everything we needed and the beach is so close and just beautiful!! Owner was very gracious to send detailed emails with anything we would need to know about our stay. I know we will be back again!

My family of 5 stayed in this condo for a week this July and it was wonderful. The condo is lovely. It is well maintained, clean, easy to live in. The kitchen had everything we could think to use. We didn't want for anything. The complex is relatively small - maybe 30 units? So, neither the pool nor the beach were ever crowded. The beach was probably 100 yards away and included beach umbrellas and chairs - SO CONVENIENT.

The only drawback of the condo is that there is a big house being built in front of the complex that may have reduced the view from the balcony a little. That said - you still get a GREAT view of the beach. (This is not a "beach view" that you have to stand at just the right angle and lean forward to see... this is a sit in your chair and see a wide expanse of waves kind of view. I just think it probably used to be even better.)

Tom was a great owner to work with. He sent a very informative email before we arrived. And was very responsive when I had a question mid-week. The rental company was great too.

I am pretty sure we'll visit San Remo 307 again. It was WONDERFUL!

This was the Best rental! I'm a frequent renter at the beach and tend to book last minute. Tom was awesome to work with, as was the rental company and association. Condo was in perfect condition. As a frequent traveler, I've learned to look at the pics really closely and hope for the best. This condo exceeded expectations. Could not have been better. A girlfriend joined me the second weekend for a couple days, and we had the best time. Clean, well maintained, good kitchen "gear", Did I say Clean?

Perfect Labor Day Weekend!

Our group could not have been more pleased with San Remo 307. Tom was excellent to work with before and during our trip. The condo is well appointed, extremely clean and in great condition. It was also so much more spacious than we expected! The views from the unit are spectacular and it is great to have a place to relax outside out of the sun. Several times each day we saw dolphins swimming by. Some mornings we were lucky enough to see them jumping and breaching! The beach service was an excellent perk to the rental and really negated the need for a canopy or blanket. We also rented a paddleboard from the agent on the beach and it was so fun to get out on the ocean to test our balance and bravery. We saw rays, jellyfish, and schools of large and small fish. It was so convenient to have a pool on site as well. It was never crowded and fun to take a dip after the beach each day. The shops and restaurants along 30a are so unique and special and San Remo is within walking distance of some gems. We enjoyed walking to coffee at Sunrise Coffee Co. and dinners at Local Catch and The Perfect Pig. We drove to dinner in Seagrove one night and highly recommend Cafe 30A for a luxurious meal. I could not get enough grouper or snapper!

We have been to the gulf countless times, but after visiting San Remo and Santa Rosa Beach, I will never return to the crowded beaches and high rises of other areas.

Great Vacation on the Gulf/30A

This was the first time we had stayed on 30A and the first time for my children and grandchildren to see the Gulf and the beautiful white sand and Emerald waters. My brother lives on Pensacola Island so my husband and I have been there and Destin. This vacation was absolutely great. The San Remo #307 was great. The owners so helpful before we went down to give all info and answers to any questions, but the grounds, pool, condo and esp. the beach were all great. We have always gone to NC, SC beaches and the Atlantic side of FL but it is fantastic there at Santa Rosa Beach. Usually the waves aren't as big in the Gulf but last week the kids rode their boards all week in the big, green clear waves. This is a great place we didn't want to leave. We went to Seaside one night, ate at THE BACK PORCH in Destin one night and also Capt. Dave's on the Gulf. All were excellent seafood as we love fresh seafood. Highly recommended......Family from Tennessee

On the beach, ocean view, and beautiful sunsets!

We have been looking for some time away from the crazy midwest weather and a crazy few months after recently becoming a family of 3! My husband and I decided to take our 3 month old to the beach for the first time and we weren't disappointed! This condo was clean with plenty of space and a spectacular view. We saw dolphins from our balcony, listened to the waves while having a drink and watching the sunset. We enjoyed spreading out and took advantage of the dishwasher and washer/dryer while we there since having a newborn can come with some surprises!

We loved the location of the condo because we were able to walk right down to the pool/hot tub and beach. We also had two chairs and an umbrella waiting for us on the beach! We took advantage of its location to entertainment and dining too. The condo is within walking distance to coffee, live music, drinks on restaurant patios, shopping, bike rentals, and dinner.

I would highly recommend this condo for anyone looking to get away. We are already planning our trip for next year and will be returning to this condo. You won't be disappointed!
