My name is Glenn Pereira and I am the owner of the villa.
Katie Murphy is my daughter and she kindly handles all the administration to do with villa enquiries and bookings. She is very efficient and will give you the best service possible.
I was born in Burma (now Myanmar) as a British citizen and came to England at the age of 9, to the Croydon area of South East London. I was educated at St Joseph's College in Upper Norwood and UMIST, part of Manchester University, before living in the Wirral, Merseyside and working in Liverpool for 8 years. Married Fiona, who was born in Surrey but lived all her life on the Wirral, and moved with her and our three kids (1,3,5) to the Netherlands where we lived for 22 years before returning to England, to a lovely village called Clifton Hampden near Oxford. I worked in IT and Management consultancy before semi retirement and now work part time as chairman of a training company in the Netherlands.
Katie is our youngest and she is married and living in Cornwall. Having lived much of her life in the Netherlands, she is fluent in Dutch and German. She went to a EU run European school in Bergen in the Netherlands before obtaining an Equine Science degree at Writtle College near Chelmsford. She then worked with horses for many years, mostly with Blue Cross, before becoming the Production Manager for a Lighting company. She is now married and living in Cornwall.
Katie Murphy purchased this villa in 2004
The villa is high up so benefits from cool breezes and stunning views. The building plot on the pool side has never been developed so the pool and deck offer wonderful privacy.
What our guests usually say is that the villa are very well equipped and they very much appreciate the services and considerate attention of David, our Property Manager and Gabrielle, our Housekeeper.
Our stay at the Eternity Villas was fabulous . The place was very comfortable, peaceful and clean . My kids had a blast . I would recommend this villa to anyone.
The review of May 20th 2013 describes the property very well . The photos in the 19th July 2015 reflect the fact that some TLC is required and you do need to be aware of th steps referred to in the July 19th review. However Gabriella ( the maid) kept all the rooms spotless.Tiled floors were washed 3 times a week, towels and bed linen changed so we were prepared to overlook the areas of tired decor. The pool decking has been renewed and the owner is gradually addressing the other issues. A dishwasher has now been provided (not yet mentioned on the web site).
Unfortunately recent guests had rendered the CD player unusable and broken the key in the padlock of the gate leading to the golf course, although you can access it by walking down the path on the other side of the boundary fence which leads from the road at the front of the villa. A DVD would be an asset as television reception/sound is poor, and tv content poor although we preferred to surf the net using the excellent wifi rather than watch tv !
We forgot to mention to David ( the helpful and diligent manager) that batteries for the tv and freeview controllers need renewing and the 1st floor air con unit controller needs them as well which is probably why it is not working.Mosquito spray essential especially for the ladies who they seem more attracted to.
However overall we loved the feel of the villa , the numerous shutters that opened up onto the veranda and the view. We would visit again without question.
We had a great time at the Villa. It has everything you need. The open air free flow out to the pool style is just what we wanted. The kids spent most the day in the pool. Danielle and David were very helpful and pleasant as well. The resident chicken was fun for the kids too.
Just remember your bug spray!
This villa is worth the experience. First off - the Owner was very prompt to respond to mails. The Caretaker has the best customer service. I would recommend based on the two above.
The villa is easy to locate off Buccoo Junction and is close to everything. It is warm, has three bedrooms and they even provide a cot. The kitchen is well equipped with all utensils, so just walk with your food.
The only thing is -- walk with extra towels for your beach excursions as these are not provided.
The stay was fantastic and I would recommend this place to everyone!
This stay was a wonderful one for us.
It gave us exactly what we wanted from the few days that we were there.....full rest and relaxation
The views over looking the golf course and out to the sea were a treat.
The house itself was spotlessly clean and provided us with ample linen, kitchen utensils and physical space to truly relax. The layout with open plan space and shutter doors opening to the veranda and pool area was just fantastic.
The house itself is special in it's design and decor. It gave us the feel of a lovely spanish/mediterranean feel. It is beautiful without being pretentious. And this we loved, a taste of home away from home with all the amenities, comfortable beds and pillows. We had the upstairs bedroom and loved the bathroom just off of it, overlooking the pool.
We loved looking at the birds coming into the veranda and they were our breakfast companions as we ate.
We were so comfortable here, moving from lounge chairs to pool to kitchen....that we in fact did not head to the nearby beaches.Yes it was that good for us
Special mention to Glen and Katie, for being very patient and providing us with all the relevant information before hand
And the caretaker David is a gem of a man, and he was there everyday, cleaning the pool and was available , only a phone call away if we needed anything. we had some wonderful conversations with him.
We will definitely come again. But we noticed that the property was for sale and we are not sure when the property does have new owners if it will still be a holiday home and if the personal , lovely attention to guests will still be there.
We as a family feel the property should remain the same in its layout and decor, this is what is unique and wonderful about it.
We (6 family members) spent a most memorable week at Eternity and it definitely a "must visit Villa". It's colonial architecture and large wooden windows when opened create an open concept into the living & kitchen areas. The Villa is basically white with blue accents which gives a clean/light feel and contrast beautifully with the greenery around extending to a scenic golf course.
All beds are equipped with nets which take you back many years ago of good memories. While it is in close proximity to 3 beaches, a car is recommended.
Imagine during my 8 day-stay,i never for one moment got home sick. It is indeed a lovely place
Kimlan-Trinidad & Tobago
Eternity Villa is situated in one of the most beautiful spots in Tobago, on a hill in the sought after Mount Irvine area overlooking the famous golf course and with stunning views of the Caribbean. Beaches are close by, as are all basic amenities, and ecological walks are within a reasonable driving distance. On one side live (almost) permanent neighbours with their dogs providing additional security. The plot on the pool deck side of the villa has not been developed, thereby providing absolute privacy for swimming and sunbathing as well as enjoying those evening cocktails.
Other Activities: rain forest walks, bird sanctuary, snorkelling, boat trips
Golf: Eternity Villa overlooks the Mount Irvine golf course and the gate at the bottom of the garden provides direct access to it. The clubhouse is a 2-minute drive away. Another excellent golf course, Tobago Plantations, is around 10 minutes drive from the villa.
