This delightful 1,450 square feet apartment is well suited for two couples with two bedrooms and two full baths.

Both bedrooms are furnished with king size beds. A king size elite sofa sleeper (made by AU) is located in the living room which will accomodate two additional guests.

From the beautiful hardwood floors to the fantastic full service kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, the attention to detail is something to savor.

Enjoy a glass of our local wine from your cozy spot on the balcony overlooking historic Vine Street or BBQ with your friends on the covered patio.........We even include the bottle of Paso Robles Wine for you!

About Doug

I grew up in the SF Bay area and attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. I decided to settle down in Paso after graduation to raise a family here rather than move back to the big city. It was the best decision I ever made! I absolutely fell in love with the Paso Robles area and love sharing the Paso Robles community and the surrounding wine country with our guests.

Why Doug chose Paso Robles

While Paso Robles has grown over the years, it still retains its small town atmosphere, where people are friendly and inviting. An evening stroll though downtown will convince you that you have found a second home and will make you wanting to return again and again.

What makes this apartment unique

We are located two blocks from the city park which is in the center of downtown. This puts you within easy walking distance to many very good restaurants and wine tasting rooms. Our central location is within an easy (20+/- minute) driving distance to the eastside and westside wineries within the Paso Robles Appellation.

What a fantastic wedding weekend!! We stayed here for our wedding weekend and had an awesome time. Everyone who came to visit us here loved it and WE loved it most of all. Upstairs on Vine is beautiful! All details perfect! We especially enjoyed sitting out on the balcony for coffee in the mornings. We can't wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary.

Paso Robles has over 200 wineries!!........Our property is a short drive to most area wineries and within walking distance to downtown wine tasting rooms.........Hearst Castle and Pacific Ocean Beaches are a short 45 minute drive.........Take a scenic drive up the coastline or through the wine country.......Paso Robles has many antique shops and art studios, most are within easy walking distance.......If you're flying into our area, the closest airport with scheduled airline service is in San Luis Obispo (SBP), 30 miles south. San Jose (SJC) and San Francisco (SFO) International Airports are 2 to 3 hours to the north. Los Angeles (LAX) International Airport is 3 hours to the south.....If you're coming in your own plane, Paso Robles (PRB) has a small airport located a few miles from downtown. Our community has daily Amtrak train and Greyhound bus service. We're located 6 blocks from the railroad station and bus terminal. Local car rentals are readily available with most major agencies.

Looking forward to next stay.

As always, great place to stay. Well equipped, clean, quiet and most important, great location for taking quiet walks and getting to the square and back on foot. Perfect for four. Just wish I had a good calendar so I would know way in advance when I wanted to stay so it would always be available!

Love the property

We have stayed at Upstairs On Vine four times. We truly enjoyed our stay each time. We would recommend that you update the furniture in the sitting area. That is the couch, chair and coffee table. They are old and kinda dirty. Other than that, everything was great.

Nice, clean, comfortable, a few drawbacks

Unit was very nice, exceptionally clean, clean towels and linens, beds reasonably comfortable. While the unit does have A/C, it is left off when not occupied and is not very powerful. When we arrived at 3 PM, the unit was 88 F, and unfortunately did not cool down significantly until probably midnight. The following day, the A/C had no problem keeping the unit cool on an ongoing basis. This was stated in a prior review also. They definitely need to keep the baseline set temp cooler, instead of "off", or turn on the A/C for arrivals several hours prior to check-in. The only other issue is the DVD player/TV setup had very quiet sound when playing a DVD (no sound bar or anything) such that even with volume turned up all the way, our DVD was still difficult to hear. Don't bring a DVD expecting a super surround sound experience.

Charming house in charming town
