About Mary Looram, Looram and Associates LLC.

My husband and I purchased this home when he was stationed at Ft. Ord. We have 5 children and needed a big home. It was a wonderful place to bring up our family. Now they live all over the world. We need to be in New York but we gather together from time to time at Willow Street. Our family has grown to 19 with 8 grandchildren.

Mary Looram, Looram and Associates LLC. purchased this house in 1975

What makes this house unique

We love the Victorian bones of our home with high ceilings and stained glass windows. It is a bright, cheery ,comfortable home perfect for families getting together to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

We enjoy the backyard because of it's privacy using the hot tub and fire pit. A great place to hang out at the end of the day.

Awesome family home close to old Pacific Grove

  • 5 of 5

We had 4 adults, 3 teenagers and 3 children

We had plenty of room of family dinners and the upstairs loft/family room was great fir the young to play games. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. We were close to wharf and aquarium. 2 of our grandchildren were visiting for Peru and we were headed back to LAX to send them home We were able to create some great memories we would definitely visit again

Owner's Response: Dear Judy, Thanks so much for your lovely review. So happy our home gave you an opportunity to spend some time on the Monterey Peninsula with your family especially your two grand children visiting from Peru. Our family knows about that since 2 of my grandchildren are in Hong Kong and two grew up in Vietnam. You are more than welcome to return any time. Warm Regards, Mary Looram & Associates LLC

Another great HM weekend!

  • 5 of 5

I am a repeat visitor to this house. My friends are a group of runners who raced this weekend in Monterey; despite a minor issue with the heater we enjoyed another terrific weekend in this house. Location is great, the kitchen well-stocked, and the layout is very nice for a large group, not to mention the hot tub and fire pit for pre- and post-race discussions/celebration! I would recommend this house for a convivial gathering of friends!

Owner's Response: Thanks Naomi, So glad you and your friends chose our home once more. You are always very welcome. Yes, the location is great close to Lover's Point, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and downtown Pacific Grove. We all love the hot tub and fire pit and I am sure you runners really appreciate them too. I feel our home is a great gathering place for fiends and families alike. Our family will be there this Christmas. We love sharing our home with others because it is comfortable, roomy and bright. Warm Regards, Mary Looram Looram & Associates LLC P.S. The minor issue with the heat has been fixed.

Clean and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time! The location is excellent for walking around the area. The house and grounds were clean and cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and visiting. We were a group of six high school friends celebrating turning 60 this year and the house met all our needs.

Great family home!

  • 4 of 5

This home was perfect for our annual girls trip. Our group consists of a grandmother, daughters, granddaughters and sometimes great granddaughters. We had plenty of room, both inside and out.

We enjoyed both the front porch and back deck with fire pit.

Easy access to downtown Pacific Groves restaurants, shopping or beach. Great area for walks. Highly recommended place to stay. Enjoy.

Owner's Response: Hi Roseann, Thank you for your lovely review. We are so happy you and the four generations of women enjoyed our home. If our home could talk I know it would say how pleased it is to welcome so many families and friends to stay under it's roof. I know it's a great location as you mentioned, but very quiet at night. I love the porch and back deck too. All our children and my husband and I have spent so much time around the fire pit catching up on the day's doings. I feel fortunate that we have so many wonderful guests choose our home for getaways. Thank you for choosing our home and for writing about your stay. Warm Regards, Mary Looram & Associates LLC

Big and Comfortable Home

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay here with a slightly different cast of characters. We come up here every year for the auto races at Laguna Seca, and there are roughly 10-12 of us who attend every year. Two years ago, our group stayed at this house for the first time and had a memorable week-end that we all thoroughly enjoyed. Only six of that group returned this year. One family had a newborn, so they had to pass. Another couple had to work.

But we were able to find others in our circle who wanted to join us this time. We had a few more seniors and a few less young adults. Everybody had a great time. There was room for everyone, including two babies and a 3 year old. We were able to have two family style meals together in the dining room, in comfort. We enjoyed the bottle of wine that Mary provides to guests of the house. We used the grill and the full kitchen, with all the pots and pans and dishes and utensils we needed.

The jacuzzi was a perfect place to relax after a long hot day at the race track. Those who didn't go to the track went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and used the complimentary tickets that Mary graciously leaves for her guests.

Because half of our group were seniors, the only complaint was that there are only two bathrooms. The older ladies didn't like having to wait, especially in the mornings when everybody needs the bathroom at the same time. We'll have to make a bathroom schedule next year!!!

Except for that, we all had a great time. There was the large family room upstairs where we watched football and played Family Feud. Some of us sat around the fire-pit at night, chatting and enjoying beverages. Monterey is a very scenic place to visit. We enjoyed a walk to Lovers Point. Some in the group went on the 17 Mile drive, while others visited Pinnacles National Park. Great week-end!

Great for a large group

  • 4 of 5

With 10 people (1 kid, 2 toddlers, and 1 baby) we had more than enough space for everyone. The yard in the back and croquet set provided hours of entertainment. Children and adults equally enjoyed the firepit and the hot tub. The house was convenient, on a quiet street. We were able to walk to Love'rs point beach (great because it was HOT), to dinner on Lighthouse Ave, and to a nearby playground. It was an easy drive to the aquarium as well as to Carmel. Thank you for a great weekend home!

Owner's Response: Thanks Rebecca, Happy you enjoyed our home and everyone felt they had enough room. It's nice to be able to walk downtown and to Lover's Point. We love to share our home with families. Since we brought up 5 children in that house, it has good energy and I love that friends and families are able to make their own memories. Thanks for choosing our home for your getaway for the city. Sorry it was so hot that weekend. Not the norm for Pacific Grove. Sincerely, Mary Looram Looram & Associates LLC..
