Roger was responsive and helpful in getting our group set up at the PA house! The layout and property were as described and suited a group of 9 well for a weekend away from the city. The downstairs rec room leading out to the yard was a great configuration for entertaining when part of our group wanted to crash earlier in the evening upstairs. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
My husband and I just returned home from our weeklong stay that included 6 adults and 3 young children. This was the most relaxing and peaceful vacation. From the uniquely decorated home to the stunning view from the hot tub, everything was wonderful and the owner was beyond generous. Everyone found something of interest to do within driving distance, although we had a pool table, ping pong table, and hot tub available for our use. If you like to eat out, there are a few restaurants in nearby Callicoon, but the the home has a fully equipped kitchen for making your favorite meal . Wonderful vacation!
Thank you Roger our host for being a great human being and a great Host... the home was what you call home...HOME...
We wanted to get to know all around Damascus but just did not want to leave the house as it was so cozy , clean, had all the home amenities you can think of.
At night the stars just shined and a concert of nightlife just put you to sleep.
Cant say enough but thank you for a great stay and will revisit soon....... 5 STARS ALL AROUND
Everything was great with this house for our weekend getaway. The owner was very flexible and responsive when we wanted to add 2 more people to the original 10. The owner was present to greet us when we arrived and was fixing a few things to get the house in place. Everyone enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub.The view is incredible with the mountains and river. The house has a pool table and a ping pong table too which we were able to use. All in all, we had a great stay. Would love to visit again.
What an amazing place....quiet, relaxing, peaceful.....just what the doctor ordered. Roger was great to work with and even gave us a bottle of wine. Loved the hot tub and gazing at the stars. Played some pool and did some sightseeing. Just an overall great vacation. Would definitely come back again!!
We stayed at this house for a long weekend. It waa perfect. Away from everything but we ventured out around the towns. We found a great little diner...Duttons..was amazing. We went there every day. Everything about the house was great. Plenty of room. Beds were comfortable everything was a clean. We had a great time in the hot tub. Roger was very helpful and we enjoyed the time we got to chat with him. I would recommend this house to anyone. I would only be nervous on those roads if there was snow.
