HISTORY - The Italian Riveria is steeped in history. Seborga dates back to 1057AD when the nine original Knights Templars left Seborga in search of the 'Holy Grail' and returned with 'The Great Secret'. Visit this enchanting village with its cobbled streets and mosaics showing the Templars emblem. The locals are proud of its 'Principality' status with their own flag and money. At the turn of the century Bordighera was the home of the Italian Royal Family and visited by famous poets and painters such as Monet
Dining and eating out: The area is renowned for its authentic Italian cuisine especially its excellent fish dishes. Enjoy a memorable meal overlooking the harbour in San Remo or why not have a quiet meal in one of the quaint restaurants in the cobbled streets of the old town. If one prefers french cuisine, the fashionable resort of Menton is only 15 - 20 min drive away.
Shopping & Enternaiment: Enjoy the fashionable towns of San Remo, Monte Carlo and Menton with their designer shops and the twice weekly market. Why not try your luck in the world renown casinos? San Remo is renowned for its entertainment with the Music Festival in February, the Historic Car Rally in March and the International Firework Display in July. The summer season features enternainment every night with live bands, fashion shows and open-air concerts.
Seborga must be the best kept secret ever! Not only is it in a great location the history behind it is amazing. The villa has spectacular views and we just loved relaxing on the terraces sampling the local wine, bread and cheese! The pool is the perfect place to cool off. With so many places to visit close by we truly had a fantastic holiday. Thank you!
We had a wonderful holiday. The villa has amazing views and was very comfortable and clean.The kids especially enjoyed the pool. It is situated in a great location and is within easy reach of many local towns, including Bordighera and San Remo. Monaco is only 30 mins away and is definitely worth a visit. Seborga itself is steeped in history and the twice weekly festival nights were a bonus of the trip - family oriented nights that were entertaining and fun. We felt like we experienced the real Italy, with wonderful restaurants, beautiful sights and gorgeous weather. We will definitely be back!
This beautiful villa nestles in the hillside above the Italian Riviera coastline in the Principality of Seborge. Just 30 min drive from Nice and a short drive away from San Remo and Monte Carlo. You can also take advantage of the good local transport.

Ski: Limone Piemonte has a long ski history, being one of the oldest ski resorts in Italy and attracting skiers since the turn of the last century. The resort is only one hours drive or train journey away and has a typical mediterranean feel. The resort has an authentic atmosphere popular with all ages and abilities and is centred round a 12th Century Church in a picturesque setting. There are over 90 kilometers of ski runs over the 46 slopes at the resort. The season at Limone Piemonte runs from December to April with good conditions throughout.
The resort is lively and full of Italian character boasting fine quisine and great apres ski. Its mediterranean atmospehre attracts visitors of all ages. Its charming churches and cobbled streets adds to the authenticity of the village, renowned boutiques, art galleries and piano concertos all make appealing attractions at this popular resort.
