Country living in town, spacious garden apartment close to transport links

A well equipped two bedroom apartment with a large garden situated in a lovely part of town with good transport links and off dedicated off street parking.

This apartment comes fully equipped with all modern conveniences as well as having a large garden with patio area for your enjoyment. Of particular note is the fact that it has all rooms are air conditioned so temperature can be controlled all year round.

It is ideally suited to family's and groups of friend's visiting or working in London or the busy commercial center in Croydon.

As with our other apartments we have made a special effort to ensure that everything you will need for you stay, from bedding to pots and pans to hairdryers and ironing board….are provided for your use.

This apartment has it's own washing machine and tumble dryer.

As you can see in the photos there is the comfort of a leather sofa and the additional convenience of a table and chairs for dining in the kitchen dining area.

The flat screen TV is 38’’ and the picture quality is excellent.

As a general rule I prefer stays of four days or longer but shorter periods are maybe available so please ask if in doubt.

Why Gary Scott chose Croydon

Croydon town center is a fifteen minute walk or short bus hop away and the area is very well served by public transport.

The iconic Whitgift shopping center has 140 retailers under one roof, is open seven days a week and central Croydon has an abundance of restaurants and bars.

There are convenience stores and super-markets within a few minutes walk.

Croydon has the largest population of all the Boroughs in London, and with Croydon Town acting as the heart of the borough; it could almost be a city in itself.

The area has always been a leader in financial, business and cultural sectors and is considered to be very well balanced with great living and working opportunities mixed with a bustling town center and many green open areas. It also has a great alternative/arts scene, making living or staying in Croydon an increasingly attractive choice for anyone not wanting to pay higher London prices.

The Borough of Croydon formed in 1965 and the name derives from Saxon times, meaning “valley of the crocuses!” – Crocuses are a plant in the iris family, for those wondering!

As mentioned above, Croydon has always been a leader in financial and business sectors; this dates back to when the area boasted the city’s first and only airport of its time. The now defunct airport is a Grade II listed building and a tourist attraction.

Looking forward, Croydon has a large regeneration plan running. The plans aim to make the area London’s “third city” by 2020 and are pumping £3.5 billion into major “master plans” in East, West and Mid Croydon as well as Fairfield and Oldtown.

Croydon acts as a gateway from South London to Central London and has many major roads running through it, including Purely Way – great for commuters. The Borough has so many great opportunities of its own that you don’t have to see it only as a commuter choice for London (despite the fact it is), but also a great place to live and work.

The Brighton Mainline rail links Croydon with Sussex, Kent and Surrey
