About The Owner

Hi our names are Craig and Angie

Both Craig and i both lived in towns growing up, but 10 years ago that all changed,

we decided to buy Watling Meadow Farm and turned it into our smallholding, over this time learning a variety of farming pointers.

Why The Owner chose Northampton

Our unique holiday let has been created with you in mind, we want our guests to experience the tranquil life that is our smallholding with the chance to experience the livestock that we keep along with the vast amount of wildlife that the meadow plays host to.

Close to all road links and rail transport, ideal base for work, visiting friends and family, or even in between homes. Whatever the reason stay with us and you will experience alternative living at a relaxing pace.

What makes this caravan unique

Situated right next to the Grand union Canal. Wake up to the singing of the birds then relax on the decking overlooking the meadow while drinking your morning tea.

Map

Come off at junction 16 of the M1 - Follow the signs for Weedon, at the Weedon Crossroads turn right. Keep going to just past the Dodford turn on the left, you will see a layby on your right indicate left you will now see a sign on the left Watling Meadow Farm.

Below are the GPS coordinates - if you enter these into the latitude/longitude on your sat nav they will lead you straight to our gate

52.245876, -1.082988.

Have a safe journey - we look forward to seeing you

Stunning setting on a lovely friendly little farm.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was lovely, spotless, comfortable with everything catered for including some treats waiting on our arrival with tea coffee etc in good supply. We were so relaxed we only went out one day prefering to stay on site with the pigs and ollie and oscar the owners dogs. Craig and angie are friendly and helpful and on call when like a berk i forgot how to work the padlock! My fave was yoda the pot belly pig who roamed around happily and freely enjoying the cuddles and ear rubs i gave him. When your there you just dont want to leave its so wonderful.

Meadow View is a beautifully presented and well equipped static mobile home and excellent value!

  • 5 of 5

Meadow View has a lovely setting on the owner's small holding with plenty of outdoor space, seating and even a garden play set for our three year old.

Ideally situated close to.the M1, M6 and A14 making our family days out easy to plan.

Angie the owner was lovely, welcoming us upon our arrival and leaving us biscuits and hot cross buns to enjoy.

Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay there again when visiting the area.

Comfortable and good value for money

  • 5 of 5

The owners were very welcoming and the children were allowed to feed their pet pigs which they loved. Conveniently placed on the A5 for us as we were visiting the Silverstone Circuit. Everything that you need for a short stay. Lovely outside area and a twenty five minute walk down a canal path to the local town and pub.

Fantastic place for a family break

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful find! Lovely, clean and well equipped cabin - complete with treats and a bottle of wine for my husband's birthday! Angie and Craig are great, and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable - unforgettable experience for the boys who quickly befriended Ollie and Oscar, the dogs, and helped feed the pigs. They will be talking about the quad bike for some time to come! Hope to return for another stay.

Barry July 2017

  • 5 of 5

This accommodation is really nice and great value for money, especially with Angie and Craig seeing to your every need. We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the meadow with a glass of wine or two watching the pigs snuffling around.

If I could make one suggestion, it can get very hot on the balcony in the afternoon sun, a pullout canopy would be a really useful addition.

I am from the local area and we drive up from Suffolk for a family reunion most years so we will definitely book again.

Thanks from Barry & Debbie.
