The Eco Barn Offers Unique Accommodation For 10, Or 12 With The Annexe

The Eco Barn has a stunning full height, open plan, kitchen living room with a wood burning stove & under floor heating, the living space walls have exposed in this stunning holiday barn conversion. Three bedrooms, (one double, bedroom 2 has a pair of bunks, bedroom 3 has 3 pairs of bunks) along with two shower rooms and 4 WC's provide very flexible accommodation for a variety of groups. Interesting features such as the inclusion of Dent Marble and the original circular barn windows, give a taste of the history of this former cow shed. To ensure it's 'eco' credentials, the barn benefits from a very efficient ground source heat pump that powers the under floor heating and hot water, Klargester and rainwater harvester.

The Eco Barn has a terrace at the rear with a large woodland garden. The fields surrounding the ecobarn are grazed by alpacas. Your stay will give you the opportunity to see these inquisitive animals at close quarters.

 Stunning views from it's elevated position, & just over a mile from the cobbled centre of Dent village where we have 2 real ale pubs, both serve food until 8.30pm, 2 tea shops/cafes, artist’s studio, Heritage Centre (local museum) & village store.

There is an option to add at additional cost the detached annexe which can be prepared as a king double, or as a twin. Sleeps 12 when a supplement is paid for the annexe.

Rates include heat & light, a basket of logs for the fire, all bedding, WiFi & private parking.

Ideal base to explore The Three Peaks, Hawes & Wensleydale, yet less than 25 miles from Windermere & The Lake District National Park.

Dent railway station is the highest altitude railway station in the country is on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway with it's high viaducts, tunnels & magnificent scenery. Daily scheduled service with steam hauled specials throughout the year.

Visit The Ingleton Waterfalls trail, White Scar caves & Sedbergh book town, all a short drive away.
