Historically a gentleman's farm complete with ruined 'pigionnier' this beautiful property has been lovingly restored during the past few years by the family. The main house boasts a 16th Century spiral stone staircase and adjoining, 'La Grange Ancienne' has been recently renovated to provide quality accommodation to the visitors of the region.
We believe your holiday accomodation should be a home from home.
There are 3 double bedrooms named after wonderful villages in the area: Flavigny, Beaulieu & Vezelay.

We have been visiting La Grange Ancienne for the last 6 years. We love this area so much that we bought a barn and are now in the process of renovating it. We keep on comîng bâck to this gîte as its beautiful and tastefully furnished. The bedrooms are immaculate and the bedding is so comfy. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is extremley high standard. The hosts Kate and Kevin are always warm and welcoming to us. There is so much to see in this area including the lovely city of Dijon and famous towns in Burgundy known best for their fine wine such as Chablis and Beaune. We always stock up with the local wines and cremant before headîng home and always wish we could stay longer!
We rented La Grange Ancienne for Christmas 2015. It was a lovely stay, great location for exploring all of Burgundy - nestled just south of Chatillon-sur-Seine.
We had day trips to Beaune, Dijon & Auxerre. Our 3 children loved wandering down to the river seine in the village & roaming in the nearby forests.
A great break, would love to come back in the summertime!
Set at the edge of a village just minutes away from the town of Chatillon-sur-seine, La Grange Ancienne is perfectly located to explore the delights of Burgundy & Champagne regions.
Discover the famous Cremant de Bourgogne & Pinot Noirs of the Chatillonais region just minutes from the door
Weekly markets, gastronomic Fayres & Brocantes are also regular features of the year in this area. Walk in the forests, fish in the river Seine & visit some of the prettiest natural swimming lakes in France at Riel les Eaux & Forest d'Orient.
Further a field-
Chablis, Dijon & Troyes all within an hours drive with Beaune just a little further. Brilliant for enjoying the French 'cafe culture' or for wine tasting & shopping.
