Perfect location for exploring the island
Quiet & clean with all the amenities you could wish for. The condo is exactly as pictured. The beds are very comfortable, which is not always the case with rentals. We enjoyed early mornings at the outdoor dining table. The west coast location is perfect if you want to go exploring all over the island, or if you just want to relax at the beach. We were visited by monkeys a few mornings, and that was a delight! Having Wilma, the housekeeper, freshen the room every few days was a treat. Amanda, the owner, was very communicative and helpful. The Fairmont beach club passes are a nice bonus. We had delicious meals at Sea Cat, the Fish Pot, Cuz (a food truck near Carlisle Beach), and Surfers Cafe. Don't miss Hunte's Garden, Welchman Hull Gully (again for the monkeys!) and the Animal Flower Cave. It was just us and some locals one afternoon at Reed's Beach. Many of the well known beaches were washed out because of recent weather, but it's still possible to find some sand, snorkeling, and great swimming. Also, we recommend finding the farmer's markets for fresh vegetables and local crafts. All in all, a great, relaxing vacation in a perfect location.
Hello to you all, delighted No 7 was exactly as hoped and that you enjoyed the island. Thank you for listing your visits, this will assist future guests as each reservation has different views on where/what to do. We welcome you back to No 7 hopefully in the future. Best wishes Steve & Amanda
Perfect vacation villa!
Everything was perfect when arriving to Porters court 7. The location was great. The villa was spotless and the property is very well maintained. The manager came by the next morning to welcome us and if we needed anything to give her a call. The villa is in a great location for restaurants and beaches. We will definitely return to this villa next time we return to Barbados.

Restful, ideally located villa revisited
This was our second visit to villa 7 and our 3rd to the little group of eight villas in the secure complex that shares a pool. Both and owner and management company are very helpful and make sure everything you need is arranged for your stay.
Although you cannot see the sea, it is a 3 minute walk away. Access via a public way or the current owners at no 7 have membership to the club directly opposite, part of the Fairmont.
Other residents are usually sociable, but most enjoy the tranquility of their own verandah or sitting around the pool.
Visit Ju-Ju’s bar on the beach, the Lone Star restaurant (for it’s setting), and the excellent chef at Fairmont Royal Pavillion does an international buffet on a Tuesday evening.
The house is immaculate with everything you need, and serviced during your stay. I would recommend for a couple, like us, who want plenty of room, a family or two couples.
Hi Chrys,
Thank you so much for this wonderful Review, much appreciated. Delighted you wanted to come back again to No 7 Porters Court and that you were well looked after by Wilma and Barbara.
We look forward to welcoming you again

Delightful Villa in a superb location!!
A delightful Villa. Tastefully furnished with everything high class. The owners, Amanda and Steve Sims were excellent in helping us whenever needed. Likewise, Barbara Gill (manager) and the lovely housekeeper Wilmur very efficient and so friendly. The property was always immaculately kept and the surrounding gardens and pool a delight. Having access to The Fairmont Royal Pavilion was fabulous.- Beautiful sun-loungers/umbrellas etc at hand, plus wonderful waiter/ess service to supply the all important Rum Punches and Caribbean Cocktails!! The location of 7 Porters Court was also superb. Hiring a car is not necessary because buses stop just out side the back gate, where you can travel to Holetown, Speightstown or anywhere on the Island for as little as BD$2. So shopping is easy, and the new Massy's at Holetown is easy to get to and very good. To list all the delights surrounding #7 would take for ever. However must mention--All the local beaches-Alleynes,Gibbs,Mullins etc all so beautiful and close at hand!! Restaurants--The lone Star, Tides, Surf Side (Steel Band Sunday evenings), Zaccios and of course the ever famous The Cliff. They all serve excellent food and the ambience super. My daughter and I have just spent the most marvellous 2 weeks at 7 Porters Court, and we can only say to Amanda and Steve that it was a pleasure to have stayed in their delightful Villa. We are certainly looking forward to returning to Beautiful Barbados, and without doubt we will certainly be recommending to our friends and family. Best Wishes to Amanda and Steve. Eddie and Alison.
Hello to you both, Gosh was a fabulous Review, thank you so very much. Absolutely delighted that you had a fabulous time and my team of Barbara and Wilma, did an efficient job, they will appreciate seeing their names mentioned. Please stay in touch and you know where I am for your next trip
Very best wishes

Fabulous villa, superb location & wonderful break
What more can be said that hasn’t already been stated!! A fabulous villa in a superb location resulting in a wonderful break! My wife and I visited in early December with our son and his fiancée, returning home just before the Christmas festivities. The weather was consistently hot & sunny, with the odd tropical downpour.
What a delightful find on the lovely West Coast of Barbados. Porters Court No.7 is just perfect with every amenity you could ever want, the décor is tasteful and the villa is furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The villa is set within peaceful grounds with immaculately kept gardens and pool area.
The location of the villa is perfect with the lovely Alleynes Bay just a stone’s throw away from the villa across the main coast road. Membership to the Fairmount Beach club is included in the rental cost which was an added bonus, should you fancy a break from the pool or travelling further afield to the many lovely beaches around the island.
There is so much to do in Barbados and particularly around the Holetown area. We had an amazing day on the Catamaran Stiletto, which sailed from Bridgetown, the crew Sheldon and Shaun were excellent hosts, they even produced a cake for my wife and everyone on board sang Happy Birthday. Drinks were flowing all day & also a tasty lunch provided, swimming with turtles & snorkelling around shipwrecks. A memorable fun day at a very reasonable price. We didn’t hire a car but found the trips on the local and reggae buses an interesting experience, a great and cheap way to see the island.
There are so many excellent restaurants close to the villa, the recommendations that Steve and Amanda provided were tremendous. It would be difficult to choose a favourite from the variety of places visited, as each was wonderful & individual. The local people we met were so friendly.
Wilma the housekeeper was chatty and always full of fun. Thank you so much Steve and Amanda for all the help and information you provided prior to our trip and for answering our queries whilst over in Barbados. We will definitely be returning to the island!

Lovely house, fantastic location, another relaxing stay at No7.
Plenty of room for our family of 4. Lovely house, airy and light, with everything you could need inside, to give it that home- rather than holiday rental feel.
Excellent location, stunning beach 2 min walk. Access to sun loungers at the Fairmont was and added bonus
Fabulous owner who couldn't do enough for us.
Highly recommended for relaxing holiday in a beautiful, stretch of the West Coast.
Thank you Amanda, we hope to stay for the 4th time one day 😄
