A vacation beach house overlooking the surf, the lake & the canal, this two-story, four bedroom, three bath beach house is in Ocean Lakes & is conveniently situated less than 100 yards to the beach, water park & lazy river, indoor pool, basketball court, playground, family sports area, recreation center, minature golf & outdoor resort pools. An on-property convenience store is within a short walk or golf cart ride. The house features an upstairs king bed in the master with a full, private bathroom. Upstairs, the queen & twin/double bed bedrooms share a full, separate bathroom. Main level: Downstairs has bamboo hardwood floors & a fully equipped kitchen. There is a queen bedroom with a full bathroom. A full-sized washer & dryer are on the main level. In addition, there is a queen sleeper sofa. The deck areas catch the afternoon breeze & are perfect for watching the activity and enjoying the views. Ground Level: Hot/cold private outside shower, smoker grill and a ground level deck with rocking chair and a porch swing.
Activities for Everyone: This 24 hour gated resort is close to great restaurants in Myrtle Beach, Surfside & Murrels Inlet. Off-property entertainment options include Ripley's Aquarium, Margarittaville and Legends in Concert to name a few attractions. Daily supervised events for pre-teens. Activities like 'Ocean Lakes Survivor Challenge', Surf School and golf clinics will keep teens occupied. 'Surf Camp' is very popular for ages 10-16. But, call ahead to make sure your dates correspond with this activity.

Golf & Tennis Packages: Prestwick Country Club is a sister company to Ocean Lakes and located just minutes away. You may get discounted golf or tennis packages by making reservations via Ocean Lakes. Ask for the phone number to book tee times via the Recreation office.

We purchased this beach house to have a place to vacation with our children and extended family. We wanted them to have experiences like we did at the beach when we were growing up; a safe place where they could feel free to explore, make friends from across the country and just be kids.

Our house is situated close to the beach, the activities and the pool areas. The Security at Ocean Lakes is excellent and we feel very comfortable letting our teen, pre-teen and friends move about the property without having to escort them to each activity. It gives them a feeling of accomplishment and independence. It lets us enjoy a vacation and not just an extension of home activities moved to a different location.
Ground level deck with seating and a porch swing allows adults the freedom to entertain, put food on the grill and watch the children play. The main level deck and outdoor teak furniture extends the living area so families can enjoy being outdoors while eating or entertaining friends and family.
What a wonderful week we had at The Dale House!! Everything was perfect! Randy was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish, you can tell how much pride he has in his house. There was never a problem with communication, always got right back to us with any questions. The house was the perfect layout and location for us, it had such a beautiful view of the beach and ocean and the perfect spot to get to everything. We rented the golf cart for the week because we were traveling with other families for softball and they were scattered around ocean lakes but the house is so perfectly located you really do not need to rent one. We loved that the house was everything we expected and more from the pictures. This house was spacious, clean and had everything you could possibly need to make a memorable family vacation. We are hoping to make it back to Ocean Lakes next year and will definitely stay no where else but The Dale House!! Our 2016 vacation was a lot of fun. This house is very convenient to all the attractions. One of my children lived at the basketball courts while the other enjoyed the pool area. The house worked well with the three families. The bedroom sizes were just big enough for comfort.
Unfortunately the house cleaning prior to us arriving was poor. I did address this with the owner but due to him having personal house problems at his residence they were not addressed while we were there vacationing. Due to this I could not give a 5 star rating.
The natural areas are in need of cleaning, the parking pad area needs cleaning, the floors in all bathrooms needs a deep scrubbing and the air filter was in desperate need of changing. It was nice to have access to a grill but the last renters did not clean and they left food stuck to the grill grates. A rocking chair was in need of replacement or repair. None of these items caused us to not have an enjoyable week. Randy Dale was very polite and seemed to have good intentions to make the situation better but due to his power going out at his personal house nothing was resolved while we were there.
On a positive note all the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very spaceious and the view from the deck was very pleasant.
I would consider renting again in the future.
My family really enjoyed our stay at Randy's house. The house was everything was clean and well-maintained and the location was ideal. The owner (Randy) was excellent in his customer service and very responsive to text and phone calls. We would definitely recommend this property to our family and friends.
Love spending time at this house. Comfortable and clean. Enough room for every one. Grands loved being close to the water park as well as the beach. Mr. Dale is a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to coming back soon.
I did not know what to expect when I booked this get-a-way but when I arrived at this house I was extremely pleased! The view from the deck was beautiful and I loved how it wrapped around most of the house. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and I slept really well. This locations is so desirable since its so close to the beach. I also like how central this home is to all that Ocean Lakes has to offer. I defiantly can not wait to go back!!
This was a wonderful vacation for my family!! Mr. Dale was fantastic to work with! He was a great help in making this vacation possible!!! We could not have asked for a better person to work with!! The house was beautiful, clean and roomy. It fit all of our needs and we really loved the deck and the covered area underneath the house was great when it was raining. The grill, dishes, etc were all clean. The beds were very comfortable and the furniture was very nice. The house was within walking distance to the beach but we did rent a golf cart for my brother due to medical conditions. We highly recommend this house if you are looking for a great person to work with, and a clean house that is in a great location. We will definitely stay here again!!!!! Thanks for making this vacation possible!! It was a pleasure working with you Mr. Dale!!!!!!!!

Even though this is a gated community, access is available 24 hours a day. Parking Passes are strictly enforced and allow you to enter the property without stopping to register. If pre-arranged, we will provide you with up to three parking permits prior to your arrival so you can breeze past those waiting in line to get their permits. (The parking fee is $5 per day for each of these permits.)

A Reservation Deposit of $1000 is required. Your full MONTHLY payment is due 5 DAYS in advance. Your reservation deposit becomes part of the first payment. A Security Deposit is charged to a credit card at the beginning of each month and refunded 28 days later to keep from actually tying up money in a Security Deposit. It is refunded within 7 days of your departure.
Long term renters may extend their vacation time at a rate of $470/week plus utilities, if available, for up to 3 week from October thru March
