About the property

4 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms an Downstairs Wc Set in a Small Fruit Orchard

For 2018 this beautiful property will be available from April until September with more dates made available for shorter breaks, don't forget if you are visiting for a special occasion we can arrange caterers and birthday cakes etc. So you don't have to worry about anything, just message us with a request and we will obtain costings for you and as always Shaun and I will be available to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The living space is very generous with a large lounge a snug lounge large kitchen/ dining area plus separate dining room. Out side there is a private pool and covered hot tub plus patio areas to relax and unwind in. The pool is heated to 32 degrees and the hot tub is heated to 39 degrees. From the front door there are lovely walks to the banks of the river Parrett or down to the next villages of Combwich or Cannington both of which have some lovely old pubs to quench your thirst on arrival. Please note the pool will only be usable between 9am and 9pm and from the end of April until the end of September but the hot tub is available until 9pm all year round.

For many years we have enjoyed renting villas and properties of all types all over the world. When we decided to offer Wagon Barn to our own guests we drew on all our experiences, both good and bad to ensure that Wagon barn would give you a memorable and enjoyable stay. Wagon barn has been dressed to fine detail to ensure that it is homely and warm and not sterile nor too personal. We provide only Egyptian cotton bedding on quality mattresses' and quality towels and pool towels. You will have everything you need in the property such as dishwasher tablets, washing powder, new dish clothes and plenty of tea towels, we even supply tea, coffee, milk and sugar as well as a little extra to welcome you to Somerset. We very much look forward to welcome you to Wagon Barn and will do all we can to ensure you have a fantastic stay with us.

About Mark Dunn

My Name is Mark and I own this property with Shaun, my partner of 27 years. We have renovated several properties over the years and decided this time to do something a little different. I have been an Area manager for the past 15 years and Shaun has been in the retail industry for the past 15 years. Prior to that Shaun worked in hospitality and this has been something we wanted to go back to together.

Wagon Barn is an ideal place to come and get away from it all. Ideal for peace and tranquillity and total relaxation. Please note, it is not a party venue. And not suitable for Hen and stag parties.

Fantastic property ideally situated in lovely surroundings with walled in pool, bar and hot tub.

Wagon barn is a fantastic property of the highest standard with all and more of your home comforts. The condition is impeccable with attention to detail out of this world. No expense is spared to ensure your stay is an amazing experience. The owners Mark and Shaun are very friendly and we were personally welcomed with a tour of the property and pool area they also provided a wonderful welcome pack of bread, cheese, butter, milk, sparkling wine, biscuits, crisps and nuts. All amenities are provided at the property including coffee, tea, soaps, waving and dishwasher tablets etc including all towels and even a selection of bath products for the wonderful deep bath. No expenses spared on this property where as soon as you walk in you feel at home. Mark and Shaun were very generous and couldn't do enogh for us. We were a family of nine and had a fantastic holiday and will certainly come back again. This is the best owner property we have ever stayed in. Thank you.

Absolutley amazing, surpassed all expectations.

Wagon Barn is the most amazing home. Luxurious is the best way to describe it, beautifully decorated with an ecclectic mix of furnishings. The Kitchen was such a cosy, homely place to be in and we had lovely meals in there under the fabulous lighting. Everything you needed and more was in ther kitchen cupbaords. Alexa was real treat (feel like getting one myself now) I liked asking for all my favourite songs. The sitting rooms were spacious, comfortable and inviting. We didn't get to use the dining room, but next time we shall have a regal dinner in there. We had a great BBQ outside in the garden, getting the best of the evening sunshine.

The bedrooms were beautifully presented and I had a luxury bath with scented candles and scented oil, all provided. The pool and hot tub were the highlight of the holiday, and the boys (and adults) had so much fun, it was a real sun trap there, and we felt like we were abroad with the bar. Mark and Shaun were the perfect hosts, very welcoming and kind

and had provided all kinds of little extras which we so appreciated. They were unobtrusive but there if we needed them. I just wish we could have stayed longer, next time.........

It was the perfect venue for a family get away, plenty of space and with every comfort provided.

Where to begin.....

Easy to find, fantastic spot, well tended grounds (the orchard was a great novelty!), spotless accommodation, plenty of space, gorgeous interior, well equipped, friendly and helpful owners, dreamy pool and pool side bar (and hot tub!), comfortable beds, generous welcome treats and an altogether fantastic stay!! It was the first time we'd been away as a family and we loved every second....faultless and charming barn. We hope to return!!

Fantastic property

Amazing property with so much thought and detail within . Owners were fantastic and so thoughtful, pool was amazing and so warm even in good old British rain !! Would of been more than happy to spend the 3 days at the house and not gone out !!! Thank you very much hope to return very soon !
