We stayed in Swan Lake Cottage in Manorbier. The cottage itself was accurately represented on the web site, and was cosy, and well maintained. The owner, Brian is a friendly chap, who is extremely approachable. He is the type of person who would go that extra mile to make sure that you have everything needed for a great holiday, unlike some other property owners.... When we arrived at the cottage after a 4 hour drive with a 7 year old and a 5 year old in the car, Brian had left us tea and biscuits which were very, very welcome. I would recommend this property to my family and friends.
The cottage is a little way out of Tenby, but this suits us fine, as it is a quiet location, but not to far from the restaurants etc. Manorbier is a little village with a cracking beach and castle. Well worth a visit.
We had a lovely stay at Swan Lake. I cannot fault it apart from the leather sofa was a little on the uncomfortable side (that's only because I am used to a bi squidgy sofa!)...the kitchen was well stocked. We had some lovely Welsh Cakes upon arrival and were extremely grateful for the tea supplies provided by Brian. The location is perfect, not far to the beautiful beach at Manorbier and only 5 mins to Tenby. The bedrooms and bathroom were all very nice, all in all a very pleasant stay. Would definitly go back.
The location for us was brilliant as we are walkers with a dog. The village has a small shop, post office, brilliant tea shop and dog friendly pub just a 10 minute walk away. Coastal walks in Pembrokeshire are simply breathtaking. We will definitely be back.
We have really enjoyed our stay in Swan lake cottage which we found to be clean, cosy and comfortable.
Brian, the owner was very friendly and helpful and always on hand to give advice and information about the local area.
The cottage is in a quiet and peaceful location and is well positioned for exploring the Pembrokeshire area and all the fabulous beaches.
There is a pleasant 15 minute walk to Manorbier village and beach which was perfect for our two dogs who came with us.
We would certainly recommend both the cottage and the area for a relaxing holiday.

We enjoyed our stay and found Brian friendly and welcoming
There is a pleasant walk from the cottage to the coastal path
There is a fabulous village store with everything you could want
Beautiful coastal walks from Manorbier and stunning coves some hard to get down to but worth the struggle
Sadly the photographs of this property on the website do not reflect its current condition. The pics show all the rooms looking bright and sparkling whereas they are poorly lit and look tired
The cleanliness in the kitchen area was quite poor. I found a saucepan in the cupboard with burnt food on the bottom which I had to scrub as we needed to use it.
Annoyingly the kitchen windows at the rear of the cottage had been stuck fast shut which was annoying as it was hot when cooking breakfast and despite having the extracter fan on the smoke alarm went off twice whilst cooking our full English.
The Bathroom was clean but we had to take our own towels. Something we have never been asked to do before having stayed in lots of holiday rentals in the past
There is a view of the sea from the rear upstairs window but the glass has been frosted so you can only see it if you open it and kneel down to peer through which is a shame
The bed dressings were very old and worn out although the bed itself was very comfortable
Our cat came with us and she loved the place as all the windows had a deep cill she could lie in during the day whilst we were out.
We loved our stay in this part of Wales and want to return but will not choose this cottage again
On a final note there were three cottages all joined as a terrace and the people staying or living in the end one owned a dog. On two occasions we went out to our car and found dog pooh in the parking area.
We had a lovely week at Swan Lake Cottage, Manorbier. It's a great location for exploring all that the south Pembrokeshire coast has to offer, beaches are fabulous, our 2 Springer Spaniels had a great time as many of the beaches are dog friendly all year round. Cottage was very cosy and well equipt with a small enclosed garden at the front for relaxing in the evenings. Brian was very welcoming and always on hand for any local information, a very pleasant stay.
