Set in a quiet cul de sac close to the large communal pool this well equipped 2 bedroom villa in the lovely resort of Moraira is a great location for that all important family holiday in the Spanish sunshine. Set over one level the villa comprises of open plan lounge, dining room, kitchen through to a small hallway serving the 2 bedrooms, one double with en suite and the other twin serviced by the family bathroom. With UK TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning in the master bedroom and a well equipped kitchen, this villa has everything you will need for a great holiday.

Outside there is ample terracing to the front and the rear of the property with sunshine for most of the day. If you want shade there are retractable awnings to the front and real of the villa, there is also an ample supply of outside furniture for that all important alfresco dining and relaxing in the Spanish sun. For your car there is a covered off road parking space for one car.

Please note that some reviews mention a hottub. This property no longer has a hottub.

Casa capers

Our first time to Costa Blanca and we fell on our feet with Casa Dina. A real winner.

Thirty minutes’ walk down to Moraira and ten or so to a lovely bar/ light snacks at Bar 21.

Casa Dina is set in a cul de sac, so no traffic and came with a peaceful & well cared for hedged garden. Both front and back outside areas were private and lovely to be in. It also was very handy to have the internet to be connected with the outside world when needed. Casa Dina was spotless and fully equipped and so we could hit the ground running. Walking is our hobby and around the area there’s plenty to hike. Nearby Tuelada offered a delightful tram trip to Denia for a few euros and indeed one could venture further south to Benidorm and beyond by the tram. (we parked for free at the station )

Moraira itself has a nice calm mature feeling. Shops for everything imaginable and enjoyable to wander through the streets and along the waterfront. The particularly extensive market on Friday was superb. (try the delicious cooked chicken if you want an easy meal !)

We plan to return !!

Combining luxury with tradition

I had expectations of comfort and features of excellence but have to say that all of them were certainly exceeded in this truly lovely home from home. The photos on this site don't do justice to this spacious and spotlessly clean villa. Everything one could possibly need is there and everything provided was of high quality. The villa sits in a peaceful area but with easy access to the captivating little town of Moriara. It is a modern villa but the owners have retained a traditional feel of comfort and relaxation. The gardens both front and rear are perfect for entertaining and unwinding with a fully equipped outside barbecue/oven for al fresco dining. Inside, the kitchen is well stocked with crockery, glasses and cooking equipment. The main bedroom has a beautiful en suite and a door leading out to the garden. The main shower room has instant hot water with strong shower pressure - always a bonus! The living area is cosy and bright with a high ceiling giving the area a feeling of space and light. There is a 'sun lounge' with doors that can be opened out to the front patio, perfect for inside/outside dining or relaxation. The house is surprisingly private in all areas and the pool a two minute walk. This is also clean and well maintained with flowers and shrubs surrounding it. I will definitely be returning to Casa Dina!

Returned for a Spring Break

This is a gem of a place, so comfortable and so clean.

After spending time here last summer we really couldn't wait to return, so we booked a spring break, which was just amazing start to finish. The house is so private it offers the prefect escape once you do your grocery shop you need never leave, as it has everything you could need.

Having said that you just have to visit the beautiful beaches and the town which feels so safe and the fabulous restaurants so many to choose from. Moraira is one of the nicest towns we have found in Spain and Casa Dina is just a perfect spot to help you enjoy a holiday away from it all.

Oasis for all ages

Stayed in this lovely Villa for 10 days at the end of August and would recommend it highly for a couple or family.

The Villa is located on the Hillside over Moraira amongst other villas and houses all surrounded by lush green mediteranean gardens.

We were a family of 4 including a 12 year old boy and a pensioner and the Villa and location were perfectly suitable for all ages. Moraira is not overly developed and doesn’t have any brash nightlife but still has a huge selection of Restaurants and cafes and a variety of Shops and markets. Our 12 year old was adequately entertained with a selection of beaches, Sports shops in the evening to view the latest ‘Valencia’ strip and countless locations for day trips most within an hour’s journey inland. There is also a compact Amusement park (Morai park) at the end of the main town car park and a karting track on the Teulada Road.

The villa itself was perfect with ample space and a selection of patios to chill out. The pool was visited twice daily to cool down and relax and my young lad became acquainted with many friendly neighbours as he perfected his diving techniques.

There are some lovely walks in the vicinity of The Villa and around Moraira. One of my early morning walks took me down ‘Calle Rio Ter’ (left down Haya then right after Swiss Hotel. This takes you past the local Garden Centre which is worth a look, also at next junction on from garden centre is a restaurant serving English/Irish breakfasts at very reasonable prices. My preference though was to continue down to the Sea via ‘Camino Del Andrago’ to the beach of same name and a lovely outdoor terrace Café called ‘Algas’ where I refreshed with alight breakfast complete with Freshly squeezed Orange juice and perfect Coffees. I would Continue then along the coast path to the main Moraira beach stopping along way for some fresh rolls and pastries (for those still asleep) at a small bakery set among a cluster of outlets across the road from ‘El Chamizo’ café. I then had choice to return to the Villa via Calle Haya or as an alternative ‘Calle Del Campemento’ ( passing Calle Everest at an appropriately steep section).

I will write a separate review of some more local walks I did on the holiday as they may save someone time in planning same.

What a Gem & Pet Friendly - We'll be back

As a couple we had a wonderful stay at Casa Dina for a winter escape alas we never used the pool but the hot tub was a great alternative!

A quiet locale in a nicely landscaped development of single story villas so no ugly high rises spoil your tranquillity. This pretty Spanish villa provides all the comforts of home plus some nice extras, like the cosy wood burner & great central heating for those nippy nights if planning a winter escape.

Clean, tidy, well presented and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. High ceilings beamed give a nice sense of space. Landscaped courtyards both front & rear make delightful entertaining & relaxing places with retractable sunshades so you can have as much or little sun as you want. And for the dedicated outdoor cooks like we are there's a great BBQ ideal for a wood or charcoal fired feast.

Shaded off street parking keeps the hot summer sun off your car & the whole place is just mins from the town, shops, bars & of course the Friday market.

Internal accommodation comprises a well equipped kitchen with plenty of glassware, crockery and utensils. Open plan living and dining areas are cosy and functional with comfy sofas and satellite TV. There's wifi so you can keep in touch or surf the net for a local restaurant.

Our main bedroom like the second one had built in robes & plenty of hanging space. Comfy beds with nice bedding & none of the windows are overlooked. Aircon in the main bedroom which would be great in summer, but we didn't need it on our stay.

There's two good bathrooms one ensuite & both with showers - the master also has a bath & most best of all good water pressure & continuous hot water so you never run out.

For us one of the best features was the sun drenched Naya (sun room) where we spent much of our time when at home, a fab place to hang out, an alternative dining room or just sit & read, we loved it & of course big patio doors open up so you can get plenty of fresh air. Every villa should have one!

Completing the picture unlike many villas Casa Dina has nice established gardens framed by bougainvillea's, mature plantings & a couple of small ponds. Both spaces are very private, very quiet & not overlooked at all and if you really must, there's a laundry with washing machine & exterior washing lines.

We had such a relaxing stay it was hard to leave & we look forward to coming back and being pet friendly we were able to bring our gorgeous Burmese cat with us!

Great holiday

I stayed here with my family mid summer 2015.A beautiful villa that we all felt comfortable in from the start.Spotlessly clean with everything you needed for a great relaxing holiday.The villa is located a 5 minute drive from the picturesue town of Moraira.Car hire is a must although, the walk to the town in the evening is very pleasent as it is all downhill.

The property boasts a totally private front and back courtyards with sun loungers and hot tub.The back courtyard has a great gas bbq which we used quite a bit to cook relax and dine.As our kids love their devices there is great wifi connection and great choices of english channels on the t.v.

This villa is in a great location to vist local attractions all within 40-60 minute drives,such as the amazing Guadalest.The local town has a host of stunning restaurants for every taste and has a old charm feel and not over commercialised.The local beach is also a 5 minute drive with great parking and good beach restaurants and is very clean.

I would highy recommed this property for a family holiday other benefits are private parking and shared pool.

Car: necessary

Few people forget their visit to Moraira, and fewer still do not return on holiday here year after year, having discovered the jewel in the Costa Blanca's crown.

Moraira's roots are those of a small fishing village and one of the first things you realise when you arrive is that unlike the other resorts along the Spanish coastline, Moraira has not forgotten its roots. Although Moraira has grown in recent years, becoming one of the most popular destinations on the Costa Blanca it has not sold-out to the tourist boom and isn't plagued by the high rise buildings and overcrowding of other resorts.

The town centre and beaches are very clean and attractive and an obvious attention to detail has gone into the town's planning, this is apparent in everything you see, including how easy it is to park in the town centre itself, essential if you are on holiday with children.

Quite simply, Moraira is now the most exclusive and pleasant place to stay whilst on holiday on the Costa Blanca, perhaps in Spain. It still has all of the charm of a small picturesque fishing town nestled between mountains and vineyards but at the same time has grown to offer almost everything to everyone that stays here.

Moraira's two main beaches are made up of clean golden sand and nestled in attractive bays, swimming here is safe and pleasant and the beach is cleaned daily. Moraira's main beach is situated right next to the town centre with convenient pedestrian walkways and a park area meaning that it is not necessary to cross any busy roads to get to the town or the marina from the beach

Moraira offers a huge variety of restaurants and bars to cater for every taste and budget. Whether you are looking for typical Spanish cuisine in Spanish surroundings or international cuisine like Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Italian then Moraira offers it all in style.

As the sun goes down and your meal is finished you can always head to one of Moraira's many cafe bars and sit and watch the world go by.

For those with small children there is an excellent permanent small fairground. There are many small rides, mostly suitable for the young but even adults can participate in the bumper cars and hover boats. Once you are finished at the fair you can choose from one of several places that serves every flavour of ice cream or browse the stalls of the interesting street market nearby

Intertwined with Moraira's restaurants and bars are many interesting shops that stay open late into the evening. These range from the usual tourist fare, to designer clothing, art galleries, Spanish leather goods and fresh produce that can be found in the local shops.

The Friday market held opposite the town centre is an excellent opportunity to purchase all manner of fresh produce as well as imitation leather goods, clothing and jewellery. For the adventurous a fresh fish market at which all are welcome is held in the town's marina every morning except Sunday.

Just walking around Moraira is a rewarding pursuit in itself - the central market square has many places to sit down and eat or drink, the streets are a mix of quaint cobbled narrow alleys and modern avenues lined with palm trees and fountains and there are many quiet places to sit and watch the world go by or to watch the sea and stunning vista along the coastline to Calpe.

For the active Moraira offers an excellent array of sports to suit all, including jet ski hire, water skiing, deep sea fishing, diving tuition and equipment hire, tennis courts, a golf course, mini golf and mountain bike hire. For children there are specially designed park areas to play safely in and around the town.

Moraira is geographically situated in a perfect location, around Moraira itself the landscape changes from the desert like flatness of Alicante to become greener and more undulating as you head North. It is an ideal location to easily visit other towns including Guadalest, Benidorm, Calpe, Javea, Valencia, Alicante and Denia.

Alternatively for a great day out visit Paramount Theme Park, Aqualandia, Mondumar, Font D'Algar or even Valencia for it shopping and culture.

Ultimately, whether you choose to lounge by the pool or on the beach, eat at a one of the many restaurants or visit other nearby towns, villages or attractions we know your holiday in Moraira will offer you what you are looking for and entice you back year after year.
