In total very much it was pleasant!

I will begin with the house: the house on the mountain, from a balcony a view of trees and the ocean. The first floor - kitchen (a plate, the refrigerator, a teapot, the microwave oven, the coffee maker, a toaster, all necessary ware) and a recreation area (big TV with cable channels, chairs, a sofa). On the second floor - a bedroom and a bathroom with a toilet. All registration in minimalist style, but is beautiful, pure and ergonomic. Time in four days cleaning and change of linen and towels. In the yard a small arbor in which it is possible to have supper. Also nearly an every evening fried in the yard of a barbecue.

Around silence. The house on two tenants, but almost all the time the second half was empty and we lived one.

In 2-3 minutes of walking from the house the beach (that in right that to the left side). Very pleasant on an outflow. Almost always there were on it one. It is convenient to bathe also to the child at the coast, and the adult is slightly deeper. Saw there both small fishes different and even slopes. Also the small little shop is near, but in it it is possible to buy everything that is necessary.

Separate gratitude to John! He is very hospitable owner. Met us at the airport in spite of the fact that flight was delayed. And after accommodation brought to the mooring. Provided a separate bed for the child. Always tried to understand us, despite awful English. John pleasant person and professional. Thanks! We have perfectly a rest!

Все было как в раю

Дом находится на холме с которого можно увидеть океан, по обе стороны находятся пляжи очень чистые и пустые, если вы хотите романтики или уединения, вам однозначно сюда, в доме есть все что надо для приготовления еды, в 5 минут ходьбы есть магазин, недалеко 2 поселка в которых много магазинов и сувениров

Sehr ruhig am Dschungelrand

Wir hatten die kleinere Haushälfte mit Blick in Dschungel und ein wenig aufs Meer. Die Wohnung war funktional eingerichtet (etwas kahl), die Küche grundausgestattet, das Bett ok (inzwischen ein klein wenig durchgelegen), das Badezimmer toll, die Klimaanlage/Gebläse im 1. OG tadellos. Wir haben uns die Woche recht wohl und recht sicher gefühlt. Achtung: Beim Betreten das Balkons die Balkontür nicht zufallen lassen, sonst sperrt man sich evtl. aus.

John war hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar, der Nachbar sehr freundlich.

Der Bus fährt nur ein paar Meter weiter 5 x am Tag grobe Richtung Lemuria Hotel am anderen Ende der Insel. Mit (auf den Seychellen sehr teuren) Mietwagen ist man aber deutlich flexibler auch was plötzliche Regenschauer betrifft ;-)

Von der Lage her sicher weit von Anse Lazio und Georgette entfernt, dafür für die sehenswerten Valee de Mai (ultrateuer) und Fond Ferdinand Reserve sowie Anse Volbert und Anse Takamaka noch ganz gut gelegen.

Wandertechnisch (eher bei schlechterem Wetter) ist der in kleinen Teilen etwas verwucherte Pfad zwischen Anse Lazio und Georgette eine absolute Traumtour - aber sollte nur mit guten (offline-)Navigationskarten (z. B. Osmand) begangen werden, da man sonst den Weg verliert. Ca. 1,5 h Wegzeit einfach. Ansonsten liegt noch der Salazie-Track ab Grand Anse (geht u. a. bis Anse Volbert) sehr hübsch im Bergdschungel.

Wir würden wieder bei John buchen. Danke John!

La vie est belle aux Seychelles...

Location de l'annexe d'Anse La Blague est parfaite pour le snorkeling... si vous voulez découvrir des raies et des tortues à deux pas de la location. Pour la magie du monde aquatique, à 40 minutes de marche se trouve Anse la Farine qu'il ne faut pas rater si vous voulez découvrir des centaines de poissons de toutes les les couleurs !

Location parfaite pour des bourlingueurs en quête nouveautés et de découvertes... à vos baskets !!

Owner's Response: These clients were nature lovers and they journeyed out each day to discover new walks and trails all over Praslin, arriving back each evening with tales to tell of their experiences. They took the bus where necessary to reach the starting-points of the tracks.

John et sa femme sont des personnes très gentilles qui ont su être arrangeant et nous aider en cas de besoin.

Les plus : nuits très calmes lorsque les chiens n'aboient pas la nuit, plage déserte à 100m, les seychellois du coin qui sont très accueillants

Les moins : maison isolée ce qui oblige à avoir une voiture (attention route très dangereuse sur cette partie de l'île) ou bus qui passe devant maison (pratique pour partir) voire taxi (pratique pour rentrer), pas possibilité de manger à l'extérieur la journée (chenilles) et le soir (moustiques, chenilles). Concernant l'équipement, on regrette que pour cette gamme de prix il n'y est pas de machine à laver, peu d'ustensiles de cuisine pour un self catering et pas de four (possibilité de faire griller le poisson mais faut acheter le charbon!)

Owner's Response: The guest was told that a load of washing could be done on payment of a small charge.They decided to wash their clothes themselves in the basin. They were not charged any extra despite the fact that they arrived with two infants.They had paid for two adults.I provided a cot at no extra charge. Charcoal and firelighters were provided for the first grilling.After that they needed to provide their own. Jeremy rented a car from me.He drove it almost completely off the road and I had to arrange for a breakdown service to pick the car out of a precarious situation....half off the road.! He then contested having to pay the charge for this and I was obliged to foot half the bill. I think in the circumstances his complaints are unreasonable.Some guests seem to have little concept of the phrase "self-catering"
