This is a 'topsy turvy' 2 bedroom cottage right in the heart of the lovely fishing village of Polperro. The lounge and main bedroom is on the first floor whilst the small bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining area are on the ground floor. The cottage is just metres from the picturesque inner harbour with the outer harbour and fishing boats just a few steps away. The cottage has an open fire ideal for a winter break and also one of the few cottages around the harbour with outside space for sitting and watching the world go by!

I've been visiting Polperro on a regular basis for many years, and fell in love with the village the moment I first set foot here. I've dreamed of owning a property here, but wanted to tick so many boxes - location, views, a little bit of outside space, comfort and character.
Harbourside - much to my delight - allowed me to tick all of the boxes, it was love at first sight.
The cottage was a beautiful surprise, the ever changing scenery out of the windows was stunning. The location was truly magical. Thank you for letting us share your cottage, we will be back!
This was our first visit to Polperro. We were delighted both by Harbourside Cottage and Polperro.
The cottage is very comfortable and well fitted out. It is beautifully looked after. The location is amazing - right on the harbourside - very picturesque!
Polperro is a delight. The town itself is so interesting and there are great coastal walks to enjoy. There are some lovely pubs and restaurants to choose from. The Blue Peter became our firm favourite - great food, reasonably priced, and live music!
I thoroughly recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore Polperro and the surrounding areas.
We stayed at Harbourside Cottage for 4 days in April 2016.
The location of the cottage is unbeatable, right on the quay surrounded by Bars & Restaurants.
The cottage itself is an absolute dream. It is decorated very tastefully in a seaside / nautical theme with every consideration for the visitors comfort.
The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into their property before renting it out.
I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a comfortable relaxing stay in possibly one of Cornwall`s prettiest fishing villages.

From the minute I walked into Harbourside I felt at home. The clean cottage was welcoming and warm.
The eating area was by the entrance which was good, kitchen had all amenities (cooker, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer).
Downstairs next to the kitchen was the bunk bed room which is fine for adults too, we slept soundly every night.
Next is the bathroom with a shower and a bath, sink and toilet, the bath was perfect to relax in after a long walk we did.
Upstairs was the living room with the fireplace and balcony. The window seat was sat on more than the sofa and 2 chairs, comfy and relaxing.
The master bedroom was perfect too, another window seat which was used a lot too. A little heater in the room if needed to warm it up.
On the whole, my husband and I loved this cottage as did the friends that joined us.
It was perfectly placed with The Blue Peter only 5 steps away (literally). The harbour is so pretty and a 15 second walk takes you to the sea.
The cottage is placed perfectly to walk to Looe along the coastal route and/or to Fowey, which is harder but worth it.
I really recommend that you hire this cottage for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. I intend to again as soon as possible.
We were there 2-9th Aprl 2016
I want to be there now.
The cottage was very nicely decorated throughout and very comfortable. The outside balcony was great, and would be lovely to sit out in better weather.
I enjoyed siting on the window seat in the lounge and watching the tide come in. it was also amazing to wake up with the harbour view. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome as the weather was not the best.
Polperro is a rare jewel in Cornwall's crown. We have been going for 16 years and it never disappoints what ever the weather.
We hope to continue going for the next 16 and have re booked Harbourside again for later in the year.
The cottage was everything we hoped for and more, lovely and clean with everything you need for a cosy break. Loved the fact the main bedroom and living area are upstairs, you get a beautiful view of the harbour without anyone walking past looking in! Slept with the curtains open (in a very comfty bed) because we wanted to saviour every moment. Heating was no problem, in fact we left it off some days to get full use of the lovely fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and more, and good quality glasses and crockery which was a nice. A nice bakers and lovely grocery door are a 2 min walk away and the pub next door friendly and the beer and food amazing, (we didnt notice any noise from the pub in the cottage). The holiday was just what the doctor ordered, my 3rd visit to Polperro and I wouldnt stay anywhere else, out of season Polperro is pure heaven. Thank you
Perfect cottage for our stay in Polperro. Situated right on the harbour it has lovely views and is in a great position to access coastal walks and the pubs, restaurants and shops. The cottage is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It has all the facilities needed for a holiday stay. I would recommend to all my friends as would my spaniel Lucy who had a great time. We will be back next year!!!
Polperro is a beautiful fishing port, on the South Coast of Cornwall, and situated on the South West Coastal path. Narrow winding roads and lanes lined with quaint fishermens' cottages, all centred on a beautiful inner harbour with it's array of boats - yachts, pleasure boats and fishing vessels - Polperro is a working fishing harbour. It is extremely popular with tourists all year round, with local shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes, and pubs, as well as several art galleries, and the Heritage Museum.
It is ideal for walking, the South West Coast path extends to the east to Looe, taking in Talland Bay (easy to moderate), or west to Polruan/Fowey taking in some breathtaking scenery (more challenging, but worth it! Set off early and pack a lunch).
Why not take a boat trip from the end of the harbour - either to neighbouring Looe or Fowey, or simply out to sea, either on a fishing trip, or to observe the wildlife - dolphins, seals, and basking sharks.
Polperro is also a great base to explore from, with attractions such as Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, and several National Trust locations including Lanhydrock - one of the most popular National Trust attractions in the UK - all within a relatively short drive.
In the evening, take in one of the many popular and highly rated restaurants, or a local pub, and watch the yachts tie up and the sun go down.
