Brookside is owned by Frank and Sandra who live in Filey, North Yorkshire. We bought the property in 2007 and spent 6 long months totally refurbishing the property to get it ready for the rental market. Each year we make improvements, the most recent being refurbishing and tiling the 2 bathrooms and adding a toilet to the shower/changing area in the swimming pool room. We feel that guests deserve to stay in a property that is maintained and cleaned to the highest quality. We've had many great times there with our family (including Sandra's 50th birthday party) and really hope all of our guests enjoy it as much as we do. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us using the enquiry form. Thank you for considering us for your holiday.
Frank purchased this Bungalow in 2007
Why Frank chose Scarborough District
We used to holiday nearby and fell in love with the area. The beaches at Filey and Scarborough are only a short drive away, as is the market town of Pickering and the beautiful village of Thornton-le-Dale. We felt it was the perfect position for both country and beach lovers alike. We had intended to retire to Brookside, but due to family circumstances, were unable to do so. We love the house and think of it as a second home.
What makes this Bungalow unique
Brookside has a large garden with fabulous views over the Yorkshire Wolds. It sits on the edge of the village and is surrounded by fields and has a stream that runs the full length of the property. The swimming pool also affords the same views and has comfy furniture so that you can enjoy the surroundings even if you don't like to swim. It is a very spacious bungalow and we are sure that you will find the surroundings relaxing. We have tried our best to cater for families and the English weather by providing a games room and a children's room.

Beautiful holiday home
Beautiful bungalow in a fantastic location - swimming pool and games room kept both kids and adults busy whilst walks in countryside and beach tired out the dog.
Thank you for such a positive review. We are so pleased you enjoyed the property and hope you will holiday with us again.
FANTASTIC 4 generations and plenty of room
Well outstanding from opening the front door. clean, well equipt, plenty of room for all 4 generations not on top of each other. The pool was great fun enjoyed by all nearly as much as the games room. Plenty of room out side to as we had 3 cars (large ones) and had room to park all on the drive without penning any one in.
Thank you Karen for your very kind comments. We are pleased you enjoyed your holiday and hope you will return soon.
