We have a friendly check in and check out service, so we will await your arrival in the lobby of the building. We have hosted guests from over 70 cities, 95% of whom have recommended our place. Most of our guests are leisure travellers and we have hosted business travellers too. Overall we have received 5* reviews 85% of the time compared to 61% for hosts nearby. On entering the apartment, you will see that it can sleep up to 6 people in a king bed, a double bed and a convertible sofa bed. You will observe floor to ceiling windows, air conditioning / heating, washing machine / dryer, dishwasher, a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob, oven, refrigerator, wine fridge, television and free wifi, Blue Ray DVD player, a cafetière (French press) and a choice of regular and decaffeinated ground coffee, regular and herbal teas, ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Hotel quality bed linen, salon quality shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hairdryers are provided.

Laundry detergent, fabric conditioner and dishwasher detergent are also provided.

Avantgarde has an impressive foyer, 24/7 concierge, residents lounge, roof terrace, and residents garden. Longer term residents can access the fitness centre on completion of the induction.

On the ground floor, there are five restaurants, and a cocktail bar. There is also a mini supermarket,which is open from 07:00 to 23:00 where a good range of essentials can be purchased.

Transport links are excellent with Shoreditch High Street station just 2 minutes away and Liverpool Street station just 10 minutes away. At most times, there are Uber taxis available in just a few minutes.

Shopping locations such as Bond Street, Oxford Street and Knightsbridge can be easily accessed by public transport in 20 minutes. The West End theatre and entertainment venues are also 20 minutes away by public transport.

Business travellers will find the location close to the financial districts of the City (walking distance) and Canary Wharf (a 20 minute ride).

About My City Apartment

I work in Finance during the day and moved into the area about 3 years ago. I live in another apartment about 10 minutes walk away. This is the most exciting area in London right now and is an enjoyable place to live. I got into hosting over a year ago and the experience of communicating and hosting visitors from other countries is very enjoyable.

Why My City Apartment chose Shoreditch

This luxury apartment is in the highly rated Avantgarde development. Shoreditch is one of the most fashionable and trendiest districts in London with excellent transport links. We operate on a friendly basis, and not as a cold impersonal hotel, and therefore we would like to know some background about you before we can take a booking. We find that this works both ways as guests would like to be welcomed into a friendly place.

What makes this apartment unique

**NEW** Night tube on Fridays and Saturdays

Central line - trains running approximately every 10 minutes between White City and Leytonstone and approximately every 20 minutes between Ealing Broadway to White City and Leytonstone to Loughton/ Hainault. The nearest stop is Liverpool Street, which is 10 minutes walk from the apartment.

Victoria line - trains running on average every 10 minutes across the entire line.

Jubilee line - trains running on average every 10 minutes across the entire line

This is the only new development in the heart of Shoreditch and has restaurants and a cocktail bar in the same building. The apartment is also air conditioned and can provide heating in the winter months, and rarely for London, cooling in the summer.

Perfect Stay for Family of Five

We stayed a week in Niranjan's apartment in Shoreditch. It was the perfect spot. We loved the location- very trendy with great restaurants and a 10-minute walk to the underground station. We walked to the Tower of London (about 30 minutes). Having the kitchen was great as we did quick breakfasts there but didn't cook any other meals. There is a grocery basically downstairs from the apartment. The kitchen seems well equipped for cooking and met our breakfast needs perfectly. Beds were comfy. My 15 year-old slept on the sofa bed and said it was comfortable. We did bring an air mattress for another daughter so each had their own "bed". It was great to have 2 bathrooms. As I imagine is true for most London apartments, it is not super roomy for 5 but since we were out the door most mornings by 8 at the latest and not back until 10 or so, it was fine. No street noise. The apartment was clean with nice linens/towels, lots of pillows, nice shampoo/conditioner/soap, hair dryer and iron. Niranjan provides coffee and a few other staples. He really is the consummate host- available for all questions and any issues (for some reason we couldn't get the thermostat adjusted and he popped in and took care of it before we returned). He provided a lengthy list of good restaurants in the area. We loved our stay in London and as my kids would say, the apartment was "10 out of 10" and we would definitely stay again. Great property! Clean and well equipped!

My daughter and I stayed here for a week. We loved it! The Shoreditch area is a very funky and delicious area to explore. Plus it was easy to Uber or Underground to anywhere. We found Liverpool Street Station to be the closest (about a 10 min walk to this Underground station or a 1 minute walk to the Shoreditch High Street Overground station). Great shopping and restaurants all around. And I easily spent hours wandering around both the Shoreditch Sunday Market and the Spitalfields Market. You must try the amazing food offerings at the many food stalls/trucks too.

The flat (4th floor) is in a clean newer 23 floor high rise with a manned front door. The flat is 2 bedrooms with 2 queen size beds (might be king size - I can't remember) and a sofa bed in the living room. A small balcony provided lovely fresh air. Dishwasher and a laundry machine made the stay super easy. A Sainsbury grocery market is at the bottom of the highrise! Cleaning supplies/detergents, shampoo and conditioner, soaps, body wash, hair dryer - Niranjan has thought of everything! And it is nice to have miscellaneous things like coffee, teas, salt and pepper provided. Good quality kettle and toaster too! 2 full bathrooms (one with a bathtub/shower and the other with just a shower stall) are perfect. And lots of closet space too.

Everything felt new and modern and clean. I plan to stay here again. This would be a great place for a family.

A wonderful place to stay

Absolutely clean apartment convenient to get around. We went everywhere from Greenich, to Kew Gardens, to Hampton Court, to all the museums. Hyde Park to the Tower and everywhere in between. All by public transport, no problems. Niranjan could not have been a better host. We followed most of his suggestions, he was very quick to get back on every question. I would certainly stay here again.

luxury in shoreditch

thank you for letting us stay in a modern apartment with all the comforts of home. two great bathrooms, a fabulous location a 10 minute walk from the Liverpool train/subway station, with funky shoreditch at your feet and the city next door. an amazing selection of diverse restaurants. and the host could not be more helpful and accommodating. slightly funky in location but so lively and feels so secure with a doorman and secure access. it's a treat.

Great location for a family vacation

The owner was the perfect host. He met us at the apartment to handover the keys, gave us useful tips on what to see and where to eat. The apt was spacious, clean and perfect for our family of 4. It was well stocked with coffee, tea etc. Bathrooms were stocked with lots of shampoo and conditioners. Very convenient to overground, tube and bus connections.
