Our property is located in a quiet residential area just 7 minutes south east from London Bridge and 20 minutes to Charing Cross.

The house is decorated to a high standard and is very luminous. The living room is attached to the dinning room which overlooks the garden with a large bi folding door.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and various crockery utensils to enjoy a nice meal in.

On the ground floor there is a modern toilet with enclosed shower. There is also a double bedroom which can be joined to the living area.

The first floor has oak wooden floors. On this floor there is a double bedroom with a super king size bed, a double de bedroom with bunk beds and a cosy small bedroom with a single bed.

On this floor there is a modern bathroom complete with bath and shower.

All sheets are included in the rental price.

The garden is mostly lawn laid and there is a side door for easy access.

Opposite our home there is a park (Manor House Gardens) with a lake, free tennis courts, volley and football pitches as well as a lovely playground. Over one of the sides there is a recently refurbished library called Manor House Library that was originally the property if the Baring family. Every fortnight there is a farmers market with delicious meats, wines and other products.

From this park you can easily access the renowned Blackheath Village, were you can find a large variety of restaurants and a farmers market every weekend. Close to this village stands Greenwich Village with its touristic attractions, the Maritime Museum, The Observatory, Planetarium, The Cutty Sark and pier to enjoy a lovely trip to the centre of London by boat or cross the river to London’s financial area Canary Wharf.

We had the pleasure of staying in this lovely house. Everything was in

line with our expectations. The location is very good. Sainsbury´s within

walking distance, a little park across the road and only a short walk to

the train station (Hither Green). The apartment is convenient for big

families - such as ours - and Maria was very helpful in meeting our request

regarding an extra guest.

Wonderful calm location

We enjoyed our holiday in Maria's apartment very much. Everything was well equipped, and the location is very calm and relaxing after our exciting daily city trips to London. Maria and her family are very friendly and we hope to come back again.

Perfect short stay with family

As we arrived in London an April, 1st, we had a very friendly welcome at the house in Lewisham. Beforehand - Maria provided any Information necessary to get there and to have a good stay. The house is well equipped and has enough space for a family. Overall facilities (shopping centre) and public transport were just around the corner. We really enjoyed the stay and we're already planning to go there again!!!

Excellent

Just the kind of house we were looking for. Well located (short walking distance to train station, where you can get to London Bridge quite quickly). The house itself was clean, it is quite spacious, and well maintained. Beautiful garden. Maria was extremely helpful and it was pretty easy to contact her when we had to. Would definitely recommend.

Logement spacieux pour 6 personnes en vacance ,bien agencé ,propre ,bien équipé. localisation intéressante zone 2 ,à proximité des transports en commun 4 min à pieds de la gare, 15-20 min du centre de Londrespar train ,7 min d'une grande surface à pieds.Maria est très disponible,sympathique,polyglotte,ses conseils sont très utiles.Transport en commun cher à Londres, prévoir 32 livres par sem par pers en abonnement hebdo pour êtres libre en déplacement partout à Londres et utiliser tous les moyens de transport.Bonnes vacances

Casa muito boa, o anfitrião muito bom.

Casa muito bem situada e com meios de transporte,acessíveis Casa com todas as condições. Para uns dias descanso muito bom.

No negativo o Bar PUB que se encontra em frente à estação comboios não nos atenderam pelas 10:40 noite informando que encerram as 11:30 noite nota 1 para o bar e nota 8 para a casa e zona (1-10)

Todos los PUBs en Londres cierran a las 11:30 ( por ley) y en general las cocinas a las 10:30, son muy estrictos con sus horarios, a diferencia de los restaurants. Esperamos recibirlo nuevamente y poder recomendarle otros restaurantes de la zona. Saludos. Maria
