Apartment, 83 Sqm, In A Villa With 2 Bedrooms (4 Beds), 1 Bathroom. Big Terrace

Our house is located in Messinia on the Peloponnese about 2 km from Koroni, 50 km from Kalamata and 300 km from Athens.

The villa is beautifully situated in a 4500 sqm large olive grove with 70 olive trees that provides us with the finest olive oil you can imagine. Due to its high location, you have a fantastic view over the Messinian Gulf and the Mani Peninsula with the Taigetos mountains (about 2400 m above see level) in the background.

Also the surroundings offer a spectacular view.

There are two separate apartments. Upstairs is our own private holiday home and the ground floor is available for rental. The two floors are connected by outsides stairs, there is no indoor connection between the two apartments.

The property is equipped according to Swedish standard and you will find everything you need here for a comfortable stay.

We love this area and our house. The house was built in the years 2001 - 2002 and after our retirement we spend about 1/3 of the year here.

The whole aria is a quite and relaxing place and the rental apartment is suitable for one or two couples who want to experience a relaxed and comfortable holiday in a secluded location with no "keep going".

There are many lovely beaches in the area. Two very nice beaches are below the house, the Agia Triada beaches.

The nearest is located in about 10 minutes walking distance - a quite beach which you often can have all by yourself. The other part of the beach, you can walk to in about 15 minutes. This part of the beach is bigger and more frequented.

The nearest villages are Koroni and Characopió where you can find most of what you for daily life.

The olive groves that surround the house has endlessly walking paths and you can walk to Koroni in just over half an hour.

The house is an excellent base for exploring the Peleponnese, which has many archaeological/historical sites such as Ancient Messene, Sparta, Mystras and Olympia, all perfectly/reasonable to reach during a day.

About Ann-Mari Franzen

My husband and I bought this wonderful Olive Grove in the year of 2000 and built this house. We first lived in it in September 2002.

We live in Sweden so for us this house and place means a lot to us as a retreat and it gives us the possibility to enjoy the fruits of life

We are now both retired and use to spend some weeks in the spring and in the autumn down here. We love this place and think it´s a pity, that the house is empty for rather long periods of time, so we wish that more people will have the opportunity to stay in the house and enjoy this place with it´s lovely surroundings.

Possibilities for longtime rent can be discussed.

The property is situated in a rural area in Peloponnese. Suitable for a quite and relaxing holiday. Near to the small villages, such as Koroni, Charakopio, Nea Koroni etc and also near, about 30 min - 1 hour by car, to places like Ancient Messene, Olympus, Costa Navarino, Pilos, Methoni etc.There are really much to experience in the neighborhood.

If you want to spend your days on the beach there are some lovely once near by. The nearest (about 200 m from the house) is one that you often can have totally by yourself, perhaps not under the high season though, but also then nearly all by yourself.

What makes this apartment unique

Tranquility, pastoral views from the terrace, lovely beaches near by, lots of possibilities for walking tours and lots of interesting ancient as well as other places to visit are not far away.
