My family spent the fathers day weekend at this condo (both suite 306/206) The condo is well equipped, spacious and has an unforgettable ocean view. We had a wonderful time enjoying the pool, hot tub, tennis court and we even did some crabbing off the dock. We look forward to returning!
This was my husbands and my first time booking a Home Away vacation. We were very impressed with the ease of booking and arranging thru the site and the personal help of the owner Terry. The Inn of the Sea is set in a quiet forest setting, right on the beach. The condo is very clean and complete with all the modern amenities including new appliances and we especially enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub over looking the ocean. A must visit is the Crow and Gate pub for an English pub style dining experience. We would definitely book again and would strongly recommend to family and friends. On our next visit we hope to visit multiple local craft fairs that are open on Sunday's.
This was mine and my husbands first visit to Vancouver Island. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and I researched through trip advisor when I came across this resort condo. I depend alot on reviews from other guests as well as being able to see photos and you can believe in the reviews and the photos accuracy. The owner was always prompt in returning emails to answer any questions. Upon our arrival I was impressed with the resort grounds being very well maintained and clean as well as loving the pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean!! The condo is beautifully decorated throughout and was exceptionally clean!! I especially enjoyed the huge picture window overlooking the ocean!! It was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils ect.for any of your cooking needs. I would highly recommend staying in this vacation rental it has everything you need too have an unforgettable vacation!!
This was my husband and I's first time booking a vacation rental ever. I had a few questions so I spoke with Terry a couple of times over the phone. All of my questions were answered fully and I had no hesitation in booking this condo. Once we arrived, we quickly realized why previous renters gave such great ratings! The condo is beautiful and it has anything you need/want while on vacation. The view is absolutely stunning! Our kids are 7 and 14 and they loved the pool and the tennis courts and spent many hours there. The location of the resort is great too. We went into Ladysmith a couple of times. I highly recommend trying the cinnamon buns from The Old Town Bakery. The Crow and Gate Pub just down the road was very nice as well. There is so much to see and do yet a couple of days we found ourselves just wanting to sit back and relax. This condo is a perfect place to be able to do that! I would definitely go again and I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking to get away.
My wife and I spent over two months between January and March, 2015, at this condo (both suite 306/206) that is well renovated and decorated with great artificial tastes with an unforgettable ocean view. One of main reasons for us is to avoid very cold weather in Ottawa. Also, we came to this place in order to experience how a winter time in this area to see whether this area can be a future location for us to select for our retirement during winter in Canada. Although this period is a low season, we still had a wonderful time while staying there. Not only this condo and the resort (the Inn of the Sea) provided a conformable place and facilities for us to live with regular outdoor activities, but also this place provides easy access to many beautiful local attractions, parks, walking trails and nice small towns. We visited Yellow Point Lodge, Nanaimo downtown and beaches, Laysmith beaches, Chemainus, Cowichan Bay, Tofino and national parks, Ucluelet, Campbell River, Comox, Duncan, Victoria, ButChart Gardens, and etc. Our winter experience showed us that this is a best place in Canada if you want to escape cold places with heavy snows and ices. Of course, we believe that you will have different kind of wonderful time while you stay here during other seasons because the land itself is a breathtaking place with very unique beauty, weather and landscape.
This condo stay met all our expectations and more. The condo is spotless, beautifully decorated and has a view that is breathtaking. Since this was the first time we had rented a condo, we were not sure what to expect. All our needs were met and we plan on returning for another holiday. It is close to a wonderful English pub, walks along the beach and close to other activities. Every evening was spent sitting on the balcony overlooking the water. It was hard to leave this wonderful environment, but we will return.
