An oasis in the heart of Sutton

Bedrooms 5
Space 2,690 sq. ft.
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 - 6 nights

About the property

Beautiful spacious and quiet house with magnificent view of the Sutton Mountains.

Beautiful spacious and quiet house with magnificent view of the Sutton Mountains. Three rooms on two floors are found there, two with the view of the Sutton Mountains, two full bathrooms, a studio / meditation room, and a children's corner. Near the village, with its cafes, bakeries, shops, its picturesque market. In a region rich in discoveries: wine route, gastronomic route, artists' studios and artisans, spas, scenery!

At the entrance of the land, we now have a garage-workshop that is not visible from the house, and generates no noise. If my partner works there, his car is parked in an entrance that does not interfere with the main parking of the house.

Lovely house!

Bright, modern, clean, and cheery, with a full equipped kitchen, this was a great place to stay for a weekend in Sutton.

Perfect for our Family Get-away!

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed at this property over my kid's February vacation. I can not say enough great things about our stay. The house was comfortable, beautiful light - what we considered a perfect morning person house, clean, any kitchen item you may need, and the kids area was just perfect - for any age (even my teenager loved it)!

The community of Sutton is adorable, and friendly, and I love their IGA - anything you may want and more. The little shops are nice, and we especially loved the chocolate shop. Everyone was very friendly.

The purpose of our trip was to ski at Mont Sutton - and despite the fact that the weather and conditions had deteriorated considerably, we spent 3 days there enjoying the available trails, and relaxing in the lodge during breaks. A very nice mountain with a great feel. I suspect that if we didn't enjoy the overall attitude of the resort, we certainly would not have visited 3 days.

We had a great vacation and are hoping to visit again in the future. Thank you, Isabelle and Remi.

Very enjoyable stay

  • 5 of 5

We knew the house was nice from the pictures but it was actually nicer than expected. The location is ideal, close enough to Sutton a 5 minute drive and not much further to the mountain. It was so lovely having a view of Mont Sutton and to see the ski conditions for the day. The large windows were great and it was nice to open the curtains in the morning and enjoy the view from bed or enjoy the snow. This area was great for snow, we were lucky to get snow almost everyday. The ski resort was more popular and busy than we thought. But the runs were never crowded and how can you beat the deals on lift tickets and cheap childcare. Back to the house, it was great. A good house really makes your holiday. It was cosy having the fire on some nights. Floor heating downstairs was lovely. There is more than enough room for one family or two. We enjoyed the bathroom, a deep japanese style tub and big shower. You need a big tub as with kids there aren't many swimming options around, the spas are all adults. Actually a hot tub on the deck would make it amazing. The bathroom was very well stocked with all supplies needed.

Even though there was no t.v coverage it makes for a nice family time playing games and watching dvds. Our son is now a fan of Mr Bean! The kitchen is well set up for cooking, everything you need. The IGA in town was great too. Our daughter also enjoyed the dollhouse downstairs. Its a quiet area and not far from the border. We had a great time skiing and would come back.

Peaceful home

  • 5 of 5

Comfortable, quiet and peaceful home with a fantastic view of the mountains. We could notice the change of fall colours every day. We enjoyed the fireplace to complete the homely and relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen have everything you can possibly need. The beds are comfortable and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this oasis in the heart of Sutton.

Great kitchen - Family Room

  • 3 of 5

Like the house it was larger then expected, the open concept of kitchen, living room and dining area is great for family get togethers. Nice view from the windows. The front door was a little tricky to unlock, had to pull the door just right before the key would turn, could be because of all the rain this year. Is a quiet and peaceful places to stay, no noise from traffic or neighbours. Master bedroom is on the main floor behind living room which was nice for my husband and I, since we are older and don't like stairs. Our daughter and son used the rooms downstairs and they had lots of room and a seperate bathroom for their use. Lots of dishes, and towels for our use. Had a very nice stay and would return again.

Sutton is a charming village in the heart of the beautiful region of Quebec vineyards, known for its cultural offer: theater, galleries, museum, in addition to cafes, shops and workshops of artists and craftsmen. Every week, there are a farmer's market, including supply of organic local products, and a flea market / flea market. The region also has several antique shops and flea market. The area is valloneuse surrounding the Massif of Sutton and the start of the Appalachian Mountains. It contains the paths of Estrie, a hiking route attached to the Appalachian Trail. We find in the area many restaurants as well as producers of regional food specialties (honey, maple products, berries, straw wine, ice cider, duck, foie gras, smoked salmon, artisan bakery, etc).
