Beautifully decorated, two bedroom, two bath condo in the Essex.

This condo has is loaded with all amenities of home including FREE Wifi. From the front door of the condo to the beachfront It's less than a five minute walk and that's carrying the beach chairs. There is a king-size bed in the master bedroom, two singles in the second bedroom, and the couch pulls out to a queen sleeper. There is FREE wireless internet in the condo.

This Non-Smoking unit comes complete with all the beach chairs, beach cooler, beach radio, beach towels, and lots of beach toys. If you don't feel like walking to the beach you are only a ten second walk to the pool. The unit has three TVs/VCRs/DVD players, CD stereo system, full-size washer and dryer, and much much more!

The Essex offers free tennis and you are only a seven minute walk to restaurants, beach stores, and the Marco Island movie theaters. I offer the lowest rates around for the simple fact I want to keep my unit booked and not sit idle. I would much rather share the beauty of Marco Island than let the unit sit empty.

Essex Condo

This is a wonderful home away from home, very comfortable and clean. This was our 3rd year and we are already booked for next year. Fully equipped with everything you need. Plenty of beach supplies, chairs, towels, even a beach buggy and within walking distance to the beach.

Essex Condo 201 is a Gem , Can't wait to stay there again !

We stayed at David DeSmyter's Essex condo for a week in May 2017. We have also stayed in his Apollo units. We just love the location. Although not on the gulf it is just across the road and an easy walk over to the beach. The Condo is spacious and tastefully decorated. We especially loved the fact that it is on the second floor and we only had a few steps to go up without using an elevator to come an go. Another selling point for us is that it is an end unit that is on the pool side. A very close convenient walk to the pool . Both the dining room and the Lanai overlook the pool. Your able to watch your Family and friends at the pool while in the room. It's always a bonus to have a assigned covered parking space while on vacation. No guessing where you will park ! We will certainly stay in the Essex unit again. Highly Recommend.

Clean and Comfortable Condo!

We had a great stay in this condo. It was clean, comfortable and for the most part had everything we needed. We loved that there was beach equipment available for our use. We used the cart, chairs, umbrella and cooler every day. There were also a lot of beach towels to use. The screened in porch was nice to sit on and to keep the kids contained. It also has a pretty view of the Gulf (you can see it between two buildings across the street).

The condo could use some updates, specifically the carpet in the bedrooms, but overall the unit is in good shape. The need for updates did not take away from the overall experience we had.

The location of the condo was great. It's on the south end of the Island and only a two block walk to the beach public access and a short walk to restaurants, mini golf, movie theater and shops.

The only thing that we really missed was a grill. Because we travelled with a 1 and 2 year old, dining out was not an easy option and cooking on the stove/oven was the last thing I wanted to do on vacation. This also did not take away from our enjoyment of the condo...would have just been a nice feature to have access to.

Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this condo.

Always Enjoyable!

We have visited this property 9 times in the past 3 years. The condo is across the street from the ocean with a view of the ocean between buildings. It is a quick 5 minute walk to the south beach entrance. The 2nd floor end unit has an extra window overlooking the pool. Dave maintains this unit and adds improvements each year. The master has a new mattress, the unit has 3 HD flatscreen tv's, and the appliances are new. We enjoy walking to the many restaurants at Marco Walk. We always enjoy our stay.

We have enjoyed this beautiful, roomy, clean condo for 7 years! Comfy mattress, very nice appliances, new beach equipment, brand new flat screens (one wall mounted) Everything we need... Very helpful owners who have loved Marco Island for years!

Damage Deposit $200

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel before 60 days of arrival you get a full refund. If you cancel inside of 60 days of arrival you lose your rent UNLESS I am able to re-rent the condo then you will get a refund.

Rates are subject to change until officially booked in condo. I require a $200 security deposit up front and the rent is due 60 days before arrival. The $200 sent back after the keys are returned and the cleaning company verifies the condition of the condo.
