Attractive 2 bedroom apartment with a very large south west facing balcony (approx 50m2) catching the sun most of the day ( no need to move from apartment). Entrance to gated complex has wheelchair access and with the large balcony there is ample room for everyone.

Taxis from airport to the apartment cost around €50.

One can catch the train to Torrablanca which cost over €2 (euros) from Malaga airport to Torrablanca train station. The apartment is a few minutes walk from Torrablanca train station.

Only a short walk to the beach which stretches for 7km (European flag award. A great choice of sun beds, fishing area and children paly areas. There are plenty of activities for all ages. Also you will find numerous bars, and restaurants.

We have a private parking space for anyone wanting to use a car, although the local transport can take you to numerous places for only a few euros.

About The Owner

We live in England and both love the climate and often enjoy walks along the promenade taking in the fantastic views as well as the variety of bars and restaurants to stop and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. We often take the train to Torromolinos or Belamadena and walk along the beach when in the evening. The area around Costa Del Sol feels so relaxing. There is something for all ages here. The area is easily accessible from Malaga airport whether you drive or use the train or taxi services which are very reasonable priced.

Why The Owner chose Fuengirola

Malaga airport is 20 minutes by car/taxi. Alternatively you can catch the coastal train from Malaga to Torreblanca station and takes 30 minutes.

Walking distance to main road, there is a local bus service stop (across the road) for travel to Benalmadena and Torremolinos etc or bus stop (on this side of the road) for travel to Los Boliches and Fuengirola.

Fuengirola Town is 10 minutes and Benalmadena is 20 minutes away. The well known beautiful white village of Mijas is just about 30 minutes away from Fuengirola Town.Sites worth visiting for a day out is Rhonda with its beautiful scenic route and restaurant stop for lunch. Gilbraiter 90 minutes away and visit the monkeys.

Lovely apartment, great location

Good apartment for travel with little kids, perfect bedroom for them to sleep in. 10 minute walk down to the beach and beachfront bars (15 minute walk back due to slight hill and youngest son having little legs!). Nice to have aircon in both bedrooms as well as in living room, good size terrace, not over looking pool this isn't stated so I don't know where the previous stayers got this from, but over looking quiet road with very little traffic, be it vehicles or people walking. Pools were great, the big one is deep though and the smaller one is just under knee deep so perfect for little ones.

Apartment very clean on arrival, could do with a mirror in bedrooms though. Shower quite hit and miss but honestly not the end of the world! Wi-Fi great, tv can be a bit 'laggy' (Good job we weren't there to watch tv!)

All in all lovely apartment in a lovely area, Gary and Patricia very helpful and approachable, just a shame we had to cut our stay short due to son having an accident in town (on a side note the hospital is great too!) But we will be back, thanks very much!

Lovely area to visit. Plenty to see and do.

I was disappointed with the view from the apartment. I thought we would have been overlooking the pool but unfortunately it looks out on to the road. We should have checked this before we booked.The photographs of the balcony are misleading. The way the photographs are taken it doesn't show what you are looking out at. So we didn't bother using the balcony much. Which was a shame because we always like to sit out on the balcony when we go away. You feel a little bit shut off when you go in to the apartment. The apartment is very clean but it was very basic. There is only one mirror in the whole apartment and that was in the bathroom. Its a bit awkward when there is five staying in the apartment. This meant there was no where you could dry your hair. The hairdryer is travel size so I would recommend bringing your own. We had to have really quick showers because it went cold after a certain amount of time. It was very hard to get the right temperature. Fuengirola is a lovely area to visit and I would definitely recommend going there. The apartment complex is lovely and quiet. It is very central to everything. Its great being so near to the train station. The beach is really nice and clean. I would stay there again but I would pick a different apartment to stay in.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments, as you said you have been to the complex before so anyone visiting Jardines would know where the photographs where taken from, and with respect, you did not ask the owner any questions before booking. What I would say to guests wanting to book the apartment is please read the previous 2 guests reviews which give a true reflection of their stay in my apartment. Unfortunately one guest Nicola wanted to rebook this year but her dates where not available. I would also add I spent time explaining how to operate the shower and other items in the apartment and TV( WHICH has many TV channels on the android box via the internet). I would say other apartments on the complex have only limited UK channels such as sky news or Spanish TV channels, the internet in other apartments is accessed via the community internet that is if one can access it which I would call rather basic if no TV or internet. We. would disagree that my apartment is basic when the kitchen work surfaces are granite, the only one item I would say the apartment has not got is a dish washer. I was only informed about anything the day before the guests were leaving in which they had already spent a week and when I asked why they had not contacted me I could have sorted something out (naturally not the view) but I got no reply. Regarding the terraces someone must have been sunbathing because the sun lounger covers were heavily stained like other items in the apartment. We would also point out that the apartment required excessive cleaning after they left. So my conclusion is that they were not happy that the apartment does not have a pool view. However only a few apartments that are advertised on the complex only one has a pool view that I know of and has community WIFI if you can access it.

Clean, spacious apartment, would come again

We stayed here for 9 nights last summer and loved it. Was our first time to Fuengirola and we weren't disappointed. Loved how everything you could ever want to do or go is within a 30 min drive. Beach is amazing sometimes with big surfing waves to have fun in Apartment is in a good, quiet but still rather central location, just a stone's throw from the train station...good if you are not hiring a car. Complex was lovely, pools nice and clean. Apartment has everything you need for a self catering holiday, also has air conditioning payable by a coin meter which is fine as I know it is expensive but a word of advice for future holiday makers make sure to fully turn the units off because as we discovered, when on standby they can look turned off but they're not and still zap the money! We managed on a Euro a day, this cooled the two bedooms for a couple of hours as we were going to sleep. Would have been really expensive to use in the day as well. Could have done with more towels for bathroom, not enough left for a family of four and a proper full sized hairdryer would be wonderful instead of the mini travel one! Gary the owner is nice and communicates well, Patricia who manages the apartment in Gary's absence was so lovely and helpful and even though we were late arriving due to queues when getting the hire this didn't dampen her spirit. It was a joy to be welcomed by her after hours of travelling. Good choice of channels on the two televisions with the Android boxes, instructions to follow initially on how to use them but are fairly simple to understand and were brilliant for keeping kids occupied on the quiet evenings. Liked them so much I bought one when I got back home. Balcony lovely and spacious. Also not a problem for us but the swimming pools are 3 floors down to the rear of the complex, but there is a lift you can use. All in all if you're not seeking luxury 5 star accommodation then this apartment is highly recommended. Is really good value for money especially as it can accommodate larger families and has everything you need. We will certainly stay here again and look forward to revisiting the lovely Fuengirola again soon.

lovely relaxed stay for a whole month

very spacious and bright apartment, large terrace with sunbeds table and chairs for dining outside. kitchen is clean and all amenities for use if you wish to cook. spacious bedrooms with clean comfortable beds. pool area very pleasant and quiet. gary and patricia were very helpful during booking and also met us on arrival and made us feel welcome. close to shops restaraunts ect but must say its up hill which can be difficult if you have walking difficulties... but didn't stop us enjoying every moment of our apartment and we hired a car which is cheap and got out and about. but always ready to come back and relax on the terrace which had sun on it for 12 hrs. all in all great apartment great holiday and great people.

Bookings are accepted via OWNERS DIRECT online booking system. If the balance and bond is not received 8 weeks before departure then we reserve the right to re-advertise the booked week(s).

The DAMAGE DEPOSIT is refunded unless there is damages or excessive cleaning required. If keys are lost there will be charge of €300 to be paid to our manager to replace of locks and keys.

Changeover Day:
We do not insist on Saturday to Saturday arrivals. Occupy the apartment from 3-4 pm. If you have an early flight cases and luggage can be left inside the apartment subject to agreement with our Manager. Vacate by 10 am unless there are no bookings.

TRANSFER ONLY AIRPORT TO APARTMENT - taxis from the airport cost around €50.
It is a approximately 2-3minues walk from inside the airport to the Malaga airport train station. The train journey (approx cost €2 per person) takes approx 35minutes along a lovely scenic route. Trains run from about 6.30am to 10.30pm with trains running every 20 to 30 minutes depending upon the time of year. The apartment is a few minutes walk up the hill from Torrablanca train station. Alternatively guests can walk to taxi rank outside Fuengirola Park Hotel to get a taxi to the apartment.
