137 109 ST may be on the widest street in Stone Harbor.
This is a rare street in Stone Harbor because the street itself is one of the widest on the island. All homes are on oversize lots so you do not feel cramped. The lot next to the home has been vacant since 2007. The enormous enclosed deck directly off the kitchen is ideal for relaxing or having your meals. There are ceiling fans in all rooms, keeping the air moving on the warmest days. The deck is off of three of the bedrooms for coffee.
If you’re looking for a quiet place that is still close to everything, this location is it!
This spacious home is close to town, 7th from the beach with hardwood flooring, new furniture, 3 TVs, and plenty of decks.

My mom raised four sons after our dad died at age 40. All of her sons were first generation college graduates. As children, we made trips to the shore. We lived in a 12ft row home in Mayfair. Money was always tight, but it was never an issue.
My brothers' and nephews' academic and athletic accomplishments are exceptional, but forced modesty limits any further discussion, except in the case of Matt Heck.
Matt is a twenty-year-young, bone marrow donor. He does not know the recipient, but he may have saved her life. There are articles about Matt, which the family later learned about from others.
Mom is 89 and loves the shore. She makes at least two trips a year and has a few choices on which home to visit. She does not have to worry about money, but she is the first to look for a discount.
I am fortunate to have my family.
Professionally, I’ve had great mentors who have made my shore properties possible.
I am a CPA and I hold a New Jersey realtors license. Those who know me can attest to my knowledge. I love shore real estate and am fortunate that I can donate at least 50 % of my sales commissions to charity.
How fortunate can a man be to do what he loves (selling real estate), to donate to charity, and to see Matt on the holidays?
Best to everyone! (Excuse my spelling!)
JOHN HECK purchased this house in 2000
I love the street and beautiful homes on the street. In 2007, I purchased additional ground which provided two oversize lots. I sold one and had this home moved to its current position.
Of the 12 homes I have purchased and sold, this is my favorite. Manny told me to tear it down and build a new home.
I am glad I didn't.
We could not have been more pleased with our 1 week rental. The house size and layout could not have been better for our family. Parents with 2 small children fit perfectly in large upstairs bedroom while the other 3 bedrooms worked great for the remaining 4 adults. Lots of outside porches snd decks so everyone could find their own space. The short block and a half to the beach were a breeze to walk. Manager and owner were super helpful! Hope to come back again!
We have been vacationing in Stone Harbor since our children were young. We now have grandchildren and needed a larger house. This house was the perfect size! It met all of our needs and more. The screened in porch and large kitchen is where we spent most of our time when not at the beach. The second floor is great for children and I can see we will be able to grow with this house as our young grandchildren and future grandchildren get older. We can't wait until next summer to vacation there again. The owner and property manager were a delight to work with.
I grew up spending my summers in Stone Harbor - its been family favorite for generations! This house has it all - plenty of indoor & outdoor space for the whole family! I love the south end of the island - quiet, wide streets & so close to everything you need. Clark's Market, Donna Place, Kenny's seafood - all well within walking (& carrying!) distance. You can even get delivery from a few great places in town - Nemo's and Fred's are two favorites. With the short walk to the beach - its absolute perfection! 'Can't wait to go back in 2015! Fabulous owners - so easy to work with. Easily 5+ stars for this lovely home!
This home was in wonderful condition, very spacious. The location for getting back and forth to the beach whenever needed was great. This was the first time our family has rented a home and it was one of the best vacation decisions we have made. I was born and bred in NJ and I always wanted my children to experience vacationing at the shore. We have been vacationing in Stone Harbor for years and we are going to rent from this owner again.
Along with Avalon, NJ, Stone Harbor is the premier location on the seven mile island. There are excellent golf courses with the Cape May, NJ, restaurants just 25 minutes away. There is a Zoo that is wonderful and free. If you like the Casinos, you are 40 minutes from Atlantic City.
Young children will love the Ocean City, New Jersey Boardwalk. It's just 25 minutes away.
The 100 shops in Stone Harbor, along with Springer's Ice Cream.
