About the property

3 BR-2 BA Condo > Single-Story, 2nd-Floor, End-Unit > Spacious > Sleeps 8

Enjoy a relaxing week on the sandy shores of Rehoboth Beach - the "Nation's Summer Capital" . . . Where there IS something for everyone.

Nature and fitness enthusiasts enjoy biking, running, and hiking the Junction & Breakwater Trail from Rehoboth to Lewes. Cape Henlopen State Park and Gordan's Pond, both accessible from the Bike Trail, have breath-taking views and scenic trails. History and art buffs enjoy touring Zwaanendael Museum, Rehoboth Beach Museum, Rehoboth Art League, and Historic Lewes. Or, take a ride on Delaware's Tall Ship Kalmar Nyckel. Families with young children may enjoy afternoons at our area's 4 water parks: Jungle Jim's, White Water Mountain, Killan's Pond, and (of course) Rehoboth & Lewes Beaches! Funland Amusements on the Boardwalk and shopping on Rehoboth Avenue is a night-time family tradition. Loungin' Lizzard, located at 138 Rehoboth Ave., is a whimsical shopping adventure. Look for quality hammocks, Hawaiian shirts, Jewelry & Accessories, and Comfort Shoes by KEEN, Merrell, Rainbow, and Rafters. Sunsations and The Shirt Factory are your best bet for souvenirs and beach sundries. Visit Fisherman's Wharf in Lewes to charter a Fishing or Dolphin-Watching Cruise. Or, perhaps you would enjoy a 'Pirate Treasure Expedition' . . . dress as a pirate and climb onboard a pirate's ship, follow a treasure map into the Delaware Bay, hoist a real treasure chest out of the water, and defend the ship when it is attacked at sea.

We enjoy the area's beaches early in the morning or late afternoon when they are less crowded and the sun is not so strong. The Delaware Bay and Broadkill River are particularly nice to explore by kayak or Waverunner. Our children never tire from collecting shells and exploring new waterways and beaches.

Rehoboth is rapidly becoming more than just a summer vacation destination as people are discovering the less crowded yet seasonally pleasant shoulder months of September and May. Shoppers flock year round to the Tanger Outlet Center to enjoy tax-free shopping. Rehoboth's Chamber of Commerce and Rehoboth Beach Mainstreet have organized nationally acclaimed festivities such as the Sea Witch and Fiddler's Festival, Rehoboth Independent Film Festival, and Jazz Festival. Local restaurants cater to any palette ranging from award winning gourmet to more affordable family-style.

Our condo has all the comforts of home including a fully equipped kitchen. If you should find that we have unintentionally omitted something, please call us. We live less than one mile away and will make every effort to ensure that your stay is pleasant.

About Gwen Aboutboul

Our family has enjoyed spending summers in Rehoboth Beach since 1946 when my grandparents purchased their summer cottage on 6th Street. While on summer break from college, I met my future husband, Jacob. Following my graduation, we married in 1991 and have call Rehoboth Beach home ever since. We own and operate 4 stores in Downtown Rehoboth Beach and have a few rental properties in Lewes an Rehoboth. For 10 years we worked non-stop 5 months/year and traveled the remaining 7. Then, we chose to expand our family and now work non-stop year-round!! . . . . Actually, as any parent knows, it's all about setting your priorities and finding a balance. Our daughters have helped us do just this. Now, we make the time to once again enjoy this wonderful town where so many people love to spend their vacation. We make the time to enjoy each other. And what better place to do just this than a small hometown by sea, by the beautiful sea . . .

Gwen Aboutboul purchased this condo in 1999

Spacious and accomodating

  • 5 of 5

The condo exceeded our expectations! It was decorated really cute, was very clean and the beds were super comfy! The kitchen had everything you would need to make and enjoy a meal, plus a full size fridge and dishwasher. The convenience of having the washer/ dryer right in the condo was a huge deal to me as well. I didn't have to pack nearly as much for the week! I also appreciated the beach chairs and boogie boards. We are looking forward to returning next year!

Great for families with kids!

  • 5 of 5

The condo was spacious and well furnished and the owner checked in on us by phone while we were there. The "kids room" had a box of toys and games, as well as books that would appeal to readers from ages 1-16+. Our 1 and 3-year old kids played more with the house toys than the ones we brought. There were even a few beach/pool toys. The kitchen had all the supplies necessary for cooking and eating. The pool was on the property and a very short walk. It was quick and easy to get to down-town Rehoboth. One of the nicest things about this location is the two great restaurants at the end of the street, which were a 5 minute walk from the condo. Our only real complaint was how much light came into two of the bedroom windows both at night (from the outside lights) and in the morning. However, we really loved this condo and would definitely return and recommend to others.

This condo was perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids. It was clean and nicely decorated. The location was very convenient to both the beach and shopping. The transferable parking pass is a plus, and plenty parking spaces. The owner was very nice and quick to answered all of our questions. Definitely will rent from again whenever we return to Rehoboth Beach.

Nice quite location

  • 4 of 5

We had a very pleasant stay at this rental. The condo building was very quite and clean. Inside the condo unit was clean, bright and very spacious. The beach and shopping was all within a few minutes drive. There is a scooter rental store just down the road which is nice if you don't want to drive a car for local sightseeing. The condo does have a deck to get fresh air but the view is just of the other surrounding condos. The owner called within the first few days of our stay to make sure everything was good. I would stay again if I returned to the area for vacation.
