This nicely decorated, roomy three bedroom, three bath, Gulf-Front condo is the perfect retreat for all! Couples will be enticed by its choice location on miles of non-crowded, sugary-white sand beaches directly on the Gulf of Mexico. It’s great for viewing the spectacular sunsets. Families with children will have endless fun riding the waves, building sand castles, and splashing in the pool.
Tranquility and relaxation will be enjoyed by seniors and those just needing to 'get away' from it all. Come experience the peaceful easy feeling you get while gazing off the Mexican tiled balcony at the crashing waves and breathing in the sea air.
Harbour Place is convenient, fun, and secure. It is in close proximity to the many local attractions, restaurants, shopping, golf, amusement parks, water sports, boating, fishing, and more. All Orange Beach marinas and marina restaurants are nearby and our outside parking lot is big enough to park your boat. Cotton Bayou, which includes a public boat launch, is approximately two miles from the condo.
Built in 1999 and completely refurbished in 2005, it is only a 5 story building with only 65 units, no-wait elevators and quiet secure indoor hallways. It has covered, and uncovered parking. The indoor/outdoor swim-through pool is heated when necessary, and along with the indoor hot-tub, faces the Gulf. There is a shaded deck, adjacent to the pool, which is perfect for picnics.
This Harbour Place condo is a south-west corner unit and is located on the Second floor with a balcony that overlooks both the pool and the Gulf of Mexico. You will find one of the two 'no wait' elevators directly outside our front door. Ride down one floor, and you are only steps away from the beach.
The living room is decorated in beach cottage fare. It has a queen sleeper sofa, TV, VCR, DVD and great views of the Gulf. The colorful kitchen has ceramic tile and is fully-equipped. It also includes a laundry closet with washer and dryer.
The master bedroom is irresistibly romantic with its direct beachfront ocean view through large windows. It has a king-size bed, TV, DVD, and CD player. Bedroom #2 is decorated in cheerful tropical beach fare with shells and bright florals. It has a queen-size bed and LCD TV. The third bedroom has a New England fisherman motif, and hues of blue. It has two full beds, a TV/DVD combo. All three bathrooms have tiled showers, and the middle one has a tub unit.

A keyless keypad (needs owner provided 4 digit keycode) is integrated into the front door handle.

The children loved having an indoor and outdoor pool. Easy access to the beach. The grills were always clean and ready to use. The area was neat and clean.
Had a great stay. Owner was on top of the whole booking process, setting up pass code, parking permits, letting us know when the room was ready to go to.
The condo is very nice. On the beach like it says. Directly over the pool: literally. Gets loud through out the day but we were rarely in the room long in the day hours. Quiet at night.
Very close to the stairs/elevator. We preferred the stairs being it is the first level (ground level is the parking garage). Flat screens in every room was nice for every one at night to enjoy. View is awesome. Walk on the balcony and see/hear the ocean. Could not see the sun rise (time of the year we were there), but got GREAT moon rise views. Beds were very comfortable.
We used the grills one night (there are 2 gas /2 charcoal).
Well stocked kitchen for preparing small meals. Washer/dryer came in very handy. Has some umbrellas and a few small beach items in the condo as well.
Great place to eat is DOC's. Enjoyed that restaurant twice. Hazels buffet was nice as well.
Went on a fishing trip with Liquid Force. He was good.
We just returned from our second year staying at this condo. Wallace has done some really nice upgrades that changed the entire look of the place. New appliances, granite countertops, new furniture, new bedding and especially loved the new outdoor furniture. The new furniture raised you above the railing to improve the view. I even noticed tiny details like the addition over many over the door hooks to help with hanging and storage. Also, they have added cleaning supplies to help you keep your condo sand free and the new ceiling fans helped keep the condo cool and comfortable. Wallace is simply a pleasure to work with. As for the location, perfection is all I can say. Easy up and down to the condo being on a lower floor, low density area where the beach is not overcrowded and the grills are a major plus. We appreciated the on site maintenance man who was constantly keeping the premises clean. He even helped us when we struggled with getting a grill lit. He is there cleaning at 5:30 am and is there until the evening, even blowing the sand off of the boardwalk. We changed complexes after a week to stay another three days and booked at Sugar Beach just three properties away and could not believe the difference in the quality of the units and how much better Harbour Place is maintained. Side note: Appreciate the convenience of the password entry on the door so that no keys are ever needed!!!! Wallace, thank you for sharing your beach front home with my family. We will be back next year and look forward to working with you for years to come!

I am somewhat of a choosy traveler, doing tons of research before settling on a final destination and rental. After reviewing beach houses and condos galore, I finally settled on this unit primarily due to location, the spectacular view, the accommodating sleeping arrangements and most of all the reviews. The condo changed owners, oddly less than a week before our arrival. The new owner, Wallace, was amazing to work with and made the transition seamless. The things that are notable are as follows: The grilling area is so convenient and very clean. When the kids got hungry late at night, we ran down and grilled up hotdogs and burgers. The condo itself, being located on what I would call the first floor, meant no waiting in line for the elevator. It was just an easy walk up only one flight of stairs. The condo’s interior left us with no complaints and the teenagers loved the giant flat screen TV and access to their Netflix. The second queen bedroom did not have a good cable connection, so my son was unable to watch TV in his room, one of very view downsides. Maybe this was a good thing, as it forced him out of his room and into the living room…… teenagers love family time….. LOL! After having spent years going to Myrtle Beach, I loved the small town feel and lack of traffic. We SO enjoyed the un-crowded beach and close access to the State Park and great fishing. The seafood place across the street is a must try if you ask me, fresh steamed seafood in a carry out format was like nothing I had ever experienced. The drawer full on menus to local restaurants was handy as the family planned their dinner each day. Finally, the best part of this rental was hands down the view. The feeling of being right on the beach, hearing the waves and feeling the ocean breeze on the balcony was so amazing. We sat out there for dinner almost every night and even played cards with friends staying at the same location. I hope that you find this review helpful, as I rely heavily on reviews when I book and I knew that Wallace was a new owner to this unit. He was just as delightful to deal with as the former owner and I would recommend this rental highly.
My husband and I have rented this condo for three years.. We have found Danny to be extremely helpful. We always enjoy our stay and the facilities such as the pool. Danny is good about upgrading the condo such as new furniture and larger washer and dryer. I look forward to our stay at 113 each year.
Other Activities: boating, miniature golf, state park trails, lakes and hiking across the street.
